Oxycontin
I urge you not to make this game pay to win by adding options for xp boosts and other items that would give you a massive advantage. Many games get ruined by this feature and it would be great not to see it come to play in Warframe.
Toaman1994
"Massive Advantage" being that your weapon gets leveled up slightly faster than everyone else's? For...what? Being able to kill things more efficiently as a team? Pay to Win isn't in this game's future, nor is it foreseeable in this game's future.
Zara
I firmly believe that wouldn't happen c: Plat. really only use is for conveniences and aesthetics.
TheDrift
Affinity booster? It's already in the shop. This game is hardly pay to win anyway. More like pay 2 pretty

Shui-Yin
I bought a master's pack and only after 200+ hours am I scratching endgame after squandering all my plat on dumb S#&$. Trust me, Pay to win is hardly an issue.
KvotheTheArcane1
Err... there are already EXP boosts, and you have no idea what Pay 2 Win means. Pay 2 Win happens ONLY when something that gives an advantage in combat (i.e. more damage, or gear ONLY available through paying that is better than anything else)

Many games get ruined by this feature and it would be great not to see it come to play in Warframe. the exp boosts have been here since the begining and they are not that great, yeah i can level weapons faster but in a co-op game that doesnt really affect much at all. pay to win is more along the lines of pay x money and get level 30 weapon with option to instantly forma 4 of its slots. as it stands SURE you can buy all resources, SURE you can buy the weapon. but the prices on those weapons/resources are huge! Dtexas
This game is only "pay 2 convenience" if anything. There isn't anything in this game that you can buy for plat (real money) that will you give a massive advantage over someone who doesn't pay. MECT_HET
Twiced exp... yeah, such a MASSIVE advantage! I'm able to polarize my boar not per 1 long term defence, but per 2 defences. Yeah, the difference is significant. I'd rather call it pay2fun, not pay2win. Because whatever thing you need in this game, you can obtain via your hard work. Many games get ruined by this feature and it would be great not to see it come to play in Warframe. With this as your first topic, I'd like to ask you: have you realized there's a level cap on each weapon/secondary/melee in Warframe? If there was no level cap I'd understand where you're coming from, but hitting the cap faster than someone else doesn't mean anything at all. Please, experience enough of the game where you can validate your points with factual evidence.
Saenol
I've spent about 50 dollars on Warframe. I definitely feel more winningliousness than when I was pure F2P. The game simply goes much more smoothly if you don't have to worry about selling every weapon or frame you get and can afford to supercharge things or burn an affinity boost to get through that 3rd, 4th, or 5th Forma you slapped on your favorite weapon. Not at all adverse to paying 10 cents an hour for decent entertainment, but the idea that pay to win doesn't exist in Warframe strikes me as a shaky argument, at best. Bionicme
This game is more of a pay-to-look-good or pay-to-save-time, everything else is possible without plat aswell.
Apocalyptian
This game is more of a pay-to-look-good or pay-to-save-time, everything else is possible without plat as well. Agree. Everything that can be bought also drops as a blue print as far as I know. Edited September 30, 2013 by Apocalyptian
SquirmyBurrito
As other's have said, how is this game even going to achieve P2W status? There isn't anything to win that would be achieved at the expense of your fellow player. Everything you can pay to get either is also available via free play, is purely cosmetic, or is aimed at convenience.

fatpig84
So far nope. Unless they release a weapon that is really P2W then we will call it.
