In addition to furnishing all color pigments, in order to properly set the theme and "feel" of each room, we have also paid attention to the decoration, structural, and environmental shaping/blending, that is present in (almost) every room. We also boast a (fairly) well planned out dojo, with a simple floor plan to emphasize foot traffic priorities, and easy pathing between all high-traffic rooms. The Entire Dojo-complex itself is designed in a way that "blends" the rooms together, such as a castle, occupying four total rooms, or an entire floor of gardens themed to themselves, as well as clan activity, in the center of the dojo complex as a whole. In short, each room is themed to be a part of a whole dojo, while still maintaining enough individualism to be their own seperate entity. Listed below are the submissions for our dojo floor-plan, in image form. Located below that you will find our image submissions, chosen as a small sample showcase of our humble clubhouse. Additionally, there is a text description of each showcased rooms content. Featured Image: The Amethyst Concourse Spoiler Top Floor(Castle Floor) Spoiler Second Floor(Gardens) Spoiler Bottom Floor(Utility) Spoiler TOP FLOOR The Bazaar(spawn) As you spawn in, A large open gate greets you, The main entrance to the Castle Section of the Dojo. The walls of the castle are themed with orokin and tenno objects, this is to allow the blending of the walls with the environment of the bazaar merchant stalls, while also giving ample contrast. The roads are intended to direct people through the bazaar past the merchant stalls, set up in a semi-random haphazard way. The road leads to three destinations, the Clocktower, the Throne room(central castle) and the Meditation Temple. You are greeted with an assortment of trophies, and orbiter decorations, fish from cetus and fortuna set up into fish markets, Rugs and signs, assorted scrap parts adorn the sides of the road as you walk to your intended destination. Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler The Clocktower As you enter The Clocktower Room, and follow along the trail near the start of the path, the ground is covered in grass. The Grass leads to a bridge that goes over a river, and transitions into a stone pathway, although rough and foreign, it is easily traversed. As you travel up the pathway, you come across a uniform stone bridge, crossing the river into the central structure. The Pathway leads up, through the stairs of the Clocktower, leading to another bridge of floating stones, that have begin to drift apart. This continues, in an increasing fashion , to the point that the bridges connecting the central structure are almost unrecognizable, in addition the levels of ice in the room increase, as you travel higher This, coupled with the ever increasing noise, from the clockwork mechanism at the top of the structure as you reach your heights in the room crescendo into an open view of the entire structure , and room. This Reveals the structure to be a massive clocktower (If you have not looked at he sky yet), endlessly ticking away. The entire room is intended to symbolize the march of time. Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler The Meditation Temple Built in two sections, The Temple-Garden sits above, with unrestricted access to the vanilla inspiration hall windows(edited)A ring of gold-trimmed orokin trees ring a central garden. In the middle of the garden sits a cherry tree, thriving in the center of The light, and dark sides of the Yin-Yang symbol.The arrangement, innately peaceful in appearance, sits in the center of the chaos, between light, and dark. Between Yin, and Yang.The lower section, is a massive structure built around a grand courtyard. The doorways of the temple line up perfectly with the vanilla inspiration hallway, to help establish symmetry. The courtyard has rings, that decrease in size as you walk forward, leading you to a large clock, flanked by two guardian monks.There are no hands on the clock, instead you must ask the Monks. They have never responded. Spoiler Spoiler The Throne Room The pathway in front of you stretches forwards, the road branching off to the clocktower, and the Meditation Temple, as well as stretching into the utility section of the dojo But, there can not be a castle without a throne, above the pathway, overlooking the main entrance of the room, is the Throne Adorned with offerings and trophies, medallions and trinkets, this chair is always ready to turn anyone who sits upon it, into Royalty. Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler The Lounge Everyone Needs a place to relax. The floor plan of this room was kept clean of objects, as it is the central pathway to the: Research Wing, The Combat Section(Dueling rooms and Dry-Dock), and the Elevator deeper into the dojo-complex. Adorning the room are pristine orokin benches, and gentle, graceful arches, and loops of gold. In the Center of the Room, a large golden pillar shines. Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler Dueling Arena #3 A grim atmosphere sets the tone of the room. Dim lights, and Heavy mist encase the battlefield. Crafted from Lua shards, The flickering lights of tenno inspiration panels shine through the gaps in their cold stone cage. Spoiler The Dry-Dock No dojo is complete without their connection to the Railjack system A large entrance, worthy of welcoming pilots and crew entering the dojo. The main lights of the default Railjack room line up with the peaks in the gateway, when from the perspective of incoming crew located in the cockpit of the Railjack. Flanking the gate are two large cherry trees, one tree adorned with an overgrown garden, to symbolize life, and chaos. The other tree, is adorned by a rocky garden. In the center of the garden sits a monk, hidden by dead cherry trees. This is to symbolize death, and peace. Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler SECOND FLOOR(Gardens) The Hall of Pictures This room is all about view-point perspective. There are three showcase "pictures" each adorned with a Haiku, describing the theme of each image Above, a nature walk circles the room, a smooth transition to the central pillar. As you stand at the pillar, atop the central rock, the seamless path that you walked through to reach this apex point, reveals totally different styles of landscape, Each forming their own, individual "picture". Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler The Garden Entrance As you enter the gardens, you are greeted with a contrast of dark stones, laced with orokin roots, growing from the ceiling There is a large bridge, crossing the room, flanked with two gardens One garden, is green, and lively, representing The sun The other garden, is dark, and glows in the gloom, to symbolize the Moon Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler Emerald Garden Each of our four groups, has their own garden, Imatching the color of our Emerald Battalion is a large green swamp While the room may appear unassuming from the entrance, as you venture deeper into the swamp, you might find some interesting things hidden, right around the corner Hidden in the shrubs and vines, and bathed in mist lies a fallen protector, overgrown and forgotten. His mission unclear, but his message is openly displayed Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler Ruby Garden Across the hall from the Emerald Garden, Ruby Hall crackles away, a deep smoky crimson to match Ruby Red A fire has mostly overtaken the room, burning away leaves, and vegetation There are a few holdouts, along the edges of the room, as well as in the center Through the smoke, sits a large, glowing Maple Tree, protected by the remnants of a pool of water A simple railing wreathes a central gathering area, with the Glowing Maple in the center This is to symbolize the creative, and destructive power of flame. Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler Sapphire Garden To match the color of Sapphires, Sapphire garden is themed around water Water can be chaotic, with the room mostly overtaken by ocean life, and a large coral reef, teeming with bubbles In the center of Sapphire, order is maintained in the turbulent oceans, with a large ceremonial meeting structure adorning the center of the room Spoiler Spoiler Opal Garden Like the ever shifting Opal, This room is caught at the apex of a freeze, and a melt With the lighting of the room causing exterior objects to glow a warm pink, and the center of the room displayed with a cool blue ice The ice, melting, and refreezing into cascading pillars, that extend to the floor, and on top of the roofs and equipment. The remnants some form of research project dominate the center of the room, with small amount of ice and rubble strewn about the location In the far corner of the room an abandoned storehouse sits, recently vacated. Fire still burning in its fireplace, power not cut to their personal interface terminal upstairs. Cans and boxes sit in a loosely organized fashion in the pantry of the storehouse Somewhere below the floor, the beeping of a lost domestik drone hum the echos of the previous tenants Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler Amethyst Garden At the end of the maze, sits the amethyst garden. Located within are small "Pieces" of each of the other battalion gardens. A Large robotic monk sits in the center of the room, meditating, while leaning upon his walking cane, on the wall behind him, sits emerald green ivy As you progress along the intended pathway, you pass a burning maple tree, with ruby red leaves As you walk along the non-natural walkway, hidden into the natural jags, and crags of the stone, you approach a mysterious machine, the stones behind it frosted with opal blue ice A large staircase is next upon the path, hidden and fitted into the natural shapes and spikes of the stones, flanked by a waterfall, from which sapphire blue oceanic plants grow As you continue along the path, up the stairs, you reach a large open platform. This is the Amethyst observatory, with an open view of the stars, and asteroids swirling around the dojo The path leads down stairs, and onto a ring of floating stones. These stones are the path, leading around, and above the rest of the garden, until you reach a small hidden cave, located above the main entryway Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler Chessboard This room is designed to be very sparse, and spartan Large, simple angles, and straight lines cover the walls and corners of the room, a blank, gilded slate A Large timer sits in the center of the ceiling, a silent judge to chess matches, and competitions And, of course, the main of the room is a large, regulation chessboard, and pieces. Each piece being one item means that this chessboard can (and has) been used for many games, to date. Spoiler Spoiler The Navigation Courtyard A bright pink wreathes this room into a permanent springtime effect. As you enter the room, a graceful orokin platform dominates the center of the floor, wrapped in 4 different gardens. In the center of the platform is a small oasis, with two small twin bridges pathing over the oasis, with stairs into the pool of water perpendicular to the bridges Spaced around the central oasis are four circular resting areas, each with a planter built into the center From the planters trees and plants of all colors grace the room, well complimented by the pink lighting of the room This room is intended to portray life, and happiness. Spoiler Spoiler Navigation As you enter through a grand doorway, you enter into the Navigation chamber Dominating the navigation chamber is a large, onyx smooth table, flanked by three large chairs, sitting upon golden pillars, wrapped in a gilded cage Behind these three chairs, are four duplicates Standing at the level of the chairs on the pillars, is the inquisitors platform. This is our council chamber, where important matters are discussed, and voted upon by the leadership of our humble clubhouse The arsenal of the room is divided, and placed into its own section of structuring. Across the main pathway, from the arsenal is a set of stairs, that lead to the inquisitors platform, as well as to the clan arcade. This room was not meant to symbolize anything further than the faith in clan leadership to set a prime example for newer players Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler The Entrance to The Maze "The Maze" is actually several rooms. Unlike most mazes, it does not branch into multiple dead-ends, all pathways lead to the end location. Full of loops, each doorway is adorned with a different "Part" of the Story No matter which pathway you decide to take, the story will change, but still make sense, its individual meaning may change, but the main lesson does not fail to get across. The maze, in itself, symbolizes Chaos, As you go further in the maze, there are less, and less pathways as you approach the ending, to symbolize the your journey coming to a close. The ending of the maze, is supposed to represent Peace, in turbulence. Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler BOTTOM FLOOR(Utility) Agriculture Even Orokin Castles need a farm, everyone must eat. Every species of plant life is preserved in this room, painstakingly groomed, and tended by mysterious dojo-monks To the left, is a walkway, going between rows of crops, bamboo growing from a river flanking the walkway, and the large cave biome garden, as the centerpiece for the left wall. To the right, a multi-level fish tank, and a ramp to the second level The second level has an archway, going over the ground-level pathway, in a perpendicular fashion, which leads to more rows of crops That archway branches off, at its peak, which leads to the arch-way lights that are the top of the room. In this environment, under immense heat and light, grow the Ruk's Claw Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler Mining and construction A room in the process of being crafted. Robots mine, carve, and pummel the stones into shape, in preparation of tenno style walls being placed. There is a natural side, and then an orokin side with a transition hallway between the two. The dojo was decorated by myself and one of my other warlords. We tried to go above just decorating rooms and give them a bit of a style or "function". So far this is what we have done. Video of Market + Railjack checkpoint & Volcano Room: The Video is a brief look at the our market room and the security checkpoint leading from it to the railjack room. It also includes a look at our Volcano room with the secret entrance to the infested room. I could not use 2 minutes to highlight all of our rooms properly so i focused on the rooms that would best suite a video or couldn't be done proper justice with pictures (i.e the secret entrance of the volcano). We are a small clan of a group of close friends, and I am almost entirely the sole architect, save for the odd statue or shrub placed by one of my clanmates. As such, there's still some odd "bald spots" dotted around where rooms are mostly decorated, but have a spot or two which doesn't have anything in it, but I still really wanted to submit to the context this time around! Decorating our dojo has meant a lot to me and helped me pick myself back up after an unexpected layoff at the beginning of the year. *Don't judge! I like it to be easily available and not cluttered with stuff, obscuring labs and all that jazz. Clan has been active for about 2 months now, took it over and remodeled and slowly but surely been adding members. The most important thing for the decorator here, was to make the dragon's body looking alive, by making it swirling and turning all around the room. Another point you may notice is that every exit have its ornaments decorated in relation to the room behind, to kinda help orientation. The observatory and this hallways leading to it have an 'old ruin covered by nature' vibe. In its center, all around the solar map, you can find tenno helmets, every member of the clan had to choose and provide its own helmet to be displayed here with the glyph they're using. The first one is spider based (sorry for the cringe ^^'), fun fact: the Tenno that decorated it doesn't like spiders, so he knew that hes sculptures were fine when they actually triggered him. The second one is all about dragons : decorated by the same that made the 'Coeur du dojo' room, he tried to gave them another look, less aggressive. Aren't they cute there, chilling in their dragon's sauna ? Maybe better not pissing them off though... So here are the Ascension Pyramid and its suspended gardens. Each garden have a different climate. Within the pyramid you can find tributa decorations dedicated to former members of the clan that stopped playing. And of course all the way on the top of the pyramid you can find our ascension altar. On the first floor you can find anything you need (a workshop to repair your ship, a cargo management system to refill your payloads, a small shop and even a game station) And on the top floor, 'The orokin lounge' a fine establishment with high quality entertainment. Solar Rail (Orokin Lab): Spoiler Our dojo's Cephalon was able to capture a fragment of Hunhow's mind from the weave to extract data on our enemies. Observatory 2: Spoiler Our second observatory became a place for tranquility and meditation. Barracks Floor: Spoiler these are the connector rooms between our shadow barracks and personal quarters Personal Quarters (each of our 30 members has their own room): Spoiler Reactor Floor: Spoiler Faction Loki Rooms: Spoiler Orokin Loki, Infested Loki, and Corpus Loki pictured. Orokin is partially based on dax aesthetics more than the white and gold orokin look. Infested took some inspiration from both embolist armor and knave chest piece, as well as infested ancients. For this round of the contest, we didn't receive enough console Moon Clan submissions to fill the Star Chart with a Moon Clan each month, but we received a really high number of spectacular Shadow and Ghost Clan submissions on PS4 and Mountain Clan submissions on XboxOne. We decided to use our open Moon Clan Featured Dojo spots to feature more Shadow and Ghost Clans! We'll continue to use open spots this way in future rounds of the contest. The Clan size each spot is reserved for will always prioritize those Clan sizes, but if we end up with an open spot, one of the Clan sizes with a higher number of submissions will take it.
