Do you mean mods, or things like reactors/formas?

If you mean mods, then you keep any mods unless you sell/trade them. This means if they are on an item that is sold the mods will be kept.

If you mean things like an orokin reactor, exilus adaptor, stuff like that (consumable upgrades) then no.

When you sell a Warframe, you lose only:

1. The Warframe itself and

2. Any Forma, Orokin Reactors, Exilus Adapters, and Focus Lenses installed on it - Basically, anything you can't remove.

This means you won't lose mods or Arcanes.
