64m3r
TAA on default settings has a lot of glitches. A lot of games have issues with it which is why the majority of developers often use custom preferences, like reduced sampling rate OR they add the option for the player to set their own preference. The biggest issue produced by TAA is "Ghosting" example of extreme ghosting: Right now TAA in warframe has no option for a custom TAA setting and it's set to Default 8x which causes ghosting and sometimes graphical stuttering on moving objects. This is an issue caused by how TAA itself works. In theory it's design makes sense, in practice... Even NVIDIA themselves addressed this issue so i'm surprised DE haven't done anything yet.https://www.dsogaming.com/news/nvidia-aims-to-remove-blurring-and-ghosting-artifacts-in-taa-with-adaptive-ray-tracing-in-games/ examples of people trying to work around the issue:https://aws.amazon.com/blogs/gametech/anti-ghosting-with-temporal-anti-aliasing/https://forums.unrealengine.com/development-discussion/rendering/106829-sharp-temporal-aa/page2?134157-Sharp-Temporal-AA=&viewfull=1 Ghosting in Warframe It's mostly present on objects with reflective textures, especially ones in motion. It's even worse on semi-transparent objects and clustered objects (photo of tree) as you can see... on the front of the Nightwave ship.(you have to use HD video quality and go Fullscreen. Youtube's down-sampling almost completely removes the effect. The effect is also visible on the thumbnail)and NO. This is not motion blur.https://imgur.com/ggCWTwj
