Not really, not for the time investment required. You have to get quite lucky just to get a high % on the weapon (and you may have spend hours just getting a good weapon), and you also have to get lucky that it has an ephemera.

it can be a great way to get plat but it depends on how long it takes for you to create and deal with a lich. For me it takes little over 2 hours.

I browsed through some kuva weapons there. It seems to me that they are not actually demanded. There are between zero and five active auctions for weapons like Kuva Kohm or Kuva Quartakk; some of them hang there for weeks due to the high price. Around ten auctions for Kuva Bramma and Kuva Nukor.
I guess the reason is either unpopularity of this auction house or low demand (you can see which weapon the lich will have before exalting it + the buyer will have to hunt the lich anyway, so the buyer only pays for a guaranteed bonus value), idk.
