Punctures Mods Balance And Drop Issue

I remember there was a thread about these mods.

 

"Metal Auger", "Seeker", and "Seeking Force" are garbage mods.

Seriously, there needs to be a fix on Defense + Survival missions to make "Seeker" and "Seeking Force" mod to be rewarded like "Metal Auger".

 

I keep getting Metal Auger from Defense and Survival as Rewards.

I have been looking for Seeking Force for quite a long time.

 

Also I noticed on wiki it says Seeking Force drops from Powerfists.

How am I suppose to farm that mod when they barely spawn and the lack information where they are put in?

 

Comparsion:

 

"Metal Auger" is also outclassed by "Shred" mod which cost a lot less points.

 

I've tried Metal Auger on Ogris(can't even shoot through the doors).

I would say make the base level for metal auger .3m  or .4m, and the base cost being 7 or 8.

That way it costs slightly more than Shred, but also has way more puncture since, well, that's all the mod does. (duh imo)

 

If you think that's too much buff, lower what I proposed above a little, then make the maxed shred only have 1.0m puncture (+.166...m per fusion).

 

Regardless of how we each think it should be changed, Shred and Metal Auger do need to be balanced...

Metal Auger should be 0.25m per level. 

Seeking Force, and Seeker should be 0.15m per level. 

 

all 3 cards should cost 11pts once upgraded.

 

this is very fair for Metal Auger compared to Shred as Nightmare Mods by definition of their existence, are supposed to contain two stats, with each stat being not quite as powerful as the single versions. 

 

it would also make Seeking Force and Seeker not useless.

and since Rifles(most of them) are outclassed by Pistols in just about all situations and Shotguns in close / medium range, Rifles having more Puncture be a side factor, would help give Rifles more Utility to make up for their lower, but more sustained damage output.
