Actually had the corpus defense eximus stronghold fail 2 times before squad cleared it (and the WAY more unusual phenomena, pub squad all stuck around for the 2nd and 3rd attempt). First time, half of squad got just blasted by the one wave that seemed like nothing but eximus and the rest of us couldn't keep up with the reviving, killing, and keeping operative alive. Second time, we tried tweaked loadouts, but didn't put any real thought into it... just "ok, bigger guns" level of tweaking. Third time we actually had to turn our brains on for once and figured out a strategy. And yes, people still fail sorties because there are newer players who just unlocked sorties or don't have thousands of hours of playtime and the gear to just zombie-mode pub sortie.
