Negative Plat Issues

A clan Member of mine went to log in today and was told he was negative on Plat.  For 1 he's a kid, for 2 another player gave him the Plat a week prior and now DE hasn't communicated anything with him.  This is not how a situation like this should be handled for a kid playing a game.  De should be banning the players sending this bad play out not the players being affected by it.

As much as this sucks, this policy most likely would not change. You can thank those scummy plat launderer for that.

As for support, they're usually have a lot of backlog, so they usually take some time to get to you. Just be patient, and if they can present their case in good faith and clear picture, your clanmate should get their account back.

If it's any consolation, the players sending those bad plat would most likely also got banned.

He has the psn and warframe name of the player who gave the bad Plat its just not a situation where you punish someone who's a victim.

DE's policy is guilt by association.

If you receive bad plat, you're on the hook for it. Someone has to pay real money for it, and since the guy who did the original chargeback is well... gone, that means the next person he traded with.

Been this way for years and they aren't going to change it any time soon.

yeah, it sucks, but really what can you do? no matter how many times people point out how unjust it is, the company stays in business, its just not that big of a reputation problem for DE to care about changing the policy.
