Steel Path - Junction - killed Specter, but 'Mission Failed'

I've been slowly clearing planets on Steel Path. The last 3 junctions that I've done have all ended the same way. I kill the defending Specter, but the screen comes back with Mission Failed. However, the star chart indicates that I've completed the junction. Seems a bit weird to say I failed, when everything else indicates that it was successful.

That mission failed comes up quite often now -  even on regular missions that you dont fail.  You get the rewards, progress (like on sorties you are allowed to do next mission) but it just says Mission Failed at the top.

I'd just file it under bug reports.

there's some sort of bug happening with the EOM screen. I know that if you successfully finish a mission, close the EOM, and reopen it from the menu it will show the mission as failed. I hadn't heard of it just saying you failed upon mission success though.

This has happend to me too
