Can we please have a fix for the lock into controller only mode?

Basically when booting the game with a controller plugged in, the game will go into "controller mode" and refuse to take steam input properly.
A fix for PC right now is to simply boot the game with no controller plugged in and when plugged in, it will work fine but for the Steam Deck... you're out of luck.
The game refuses to properly aknowledge steam input. NOT EVEN THE OFFICIAL WARFRAME ONE WORKS.
What would be absolutely lovely is just a simple boot parameter (-mkb_override or something, I dunno) to override the whole controller thing and just let the game detect the controller AFTER already booting in regular mouse keyboard mode.
Warframe can already handle controllers just fine once booted in mouse+keyboard mode, it's this "console mode" that's the problem because it locks us out of mouse and keyboard
