Yulfan Posted January 12, 2023 Share Posted January 12, 2023 Alright, it's not a critical thing, but it's becoming more and more annoying when playing as Sevagoth in tilesets with a lot of rooms and doors (like 90% of the game). When using Embrace with Shadow, enemies affected by the drag+floating effect are no longer recognized by the automatics doors. The doors then close immediately and prevent the floating enemies to reach you. It's a grouping skill, but you still have to go after the stuck enemies because of those damn doors. Flannoit Posted January 12, 2023 Share Posted January 12, 2023 Lots of doors in general need some QoL updating: Grouping skills make doors outright stop recognizing things: Embrace, Larva, Vortex, etc. Movement abilities either don't interact right with doors, or the doors are too slow: Gauss (Most doors open too slowly, so you're liable to crash into the door, but some doors open instantly allowing you to Mach Rush through without problem), Yareli (Queen of being buggy - some doors she still can't fit through, old Grineer tileset doors, like the ones in Railjack missions, do not let Yareli to pass through on Merulina even when crouching or dodging, which was the general bandaid for ill-fitted doors as it is) Doors need to be made faster, smarter, and in the case of Yareli either BIGGER or with much more forgiving hitboxes - Necramechs also get stuck on the same old grineer RJ tileset doors! Birdframe_Prime Posted January 12, 2023 Share Posted January 12, 2023 Zephyr player here, all ragdoll makes enemies disconnect from the Navigation Mesh, which is how doors detect where you are and when to open.
