people either want powercreep or are disappointed these days 🤷‍♀️

Can't make anyone happy...

boy its like instead of nerfing or buffing enemies or weapons or damage that instead they could make an Armor rework that could solve these issues then mess around with "balancing" weapons let alone an Archgun

Here we go again, another weapon with great design is abandoned due to its underwhelming DPS. Rest in peace, Larkspur.

Charged attack is held back by some pointless recoil animation.

The Larkspur and its prime variant would be really good weapons if archgun mods didn't suck. To be fair, every single archgun is only held back by the atrocious mod stats.

What are you taking? It is my primary archgun (outside PT).

This post is about the fact that its prime is not significantly better. In general, primes are at least 50% stronger than their basic variants, certainly not this one. Then, if you compare Larkspur to other archguns like Corvas Prime and Velocitus, you'll notice it's fairly weaker, so Larkspur Prime was the only opportunity we had for an improvement that didn't happen.

Weaker how? You are comparing apples to oranges. This an auto-targetting chain weapon with superb status. Do you expect it to do same single target damage as best single target damage ones that are crit scaling?
