It's not clear whether he made any sort of deal. He was a scientist before, it's not because he was disregarded by the Orokin scientific community that he was a loser. It's the typical "genius focusing on a weird solution that no one believes in until he makes a huge discovery" trope. Nobody cared about the Void which was just that, void, until Albrecht took insane risks and brought back something from the Void, which enabled the Orokin to reach the stars.

The Void made a deal with us, but it sounds more like Albrecht stole something from the Void, which is a vastly different situation.

Time dilation

Wally grabbing Albrechts past and sharing thoughts

Then after "The event" he (Human Albrecht) simply lives back to Orokin Albrecht, repeat creating wally and sending him back with time or memory dilation.

The real question why is he hopeless after finding wally the second time and decide to die, maybe to limit wally back to Human Albrecht which "defeated him" the "first time"

And currently Human Albrecht creates a Construct that limits Wally but accidentally gave him two forms a Wall and A Memory, in which you type the code for Transference into the computer and whisk into a mix of Albrechts memory Corrupted by the Void or Wally with emotion Via transferring into the Construct

Whilst the Wall kinda chills in the Void maybe talks to Orokin Albrecht then the New war or something

For all we know that could just be him at 2 different points in time, no? 

Or maybe the first one is more like a stylized portrait.
