Why does lotus a Sentient use void powers

To be more precise in the new war lotus pushes back the man in the wall with void powers.

However this doesn't make much sense because she's a Sentient,  a mimic to be exact.

I suppose caliban exists and he can enter the void but he also uses tenno technology so he's not pure Sentient , but that's Also not the same as using void powers.

However lotus much like caliban might be a hybrid Sentient allowing her to tap into such powers.

She might also be void touched , the void is a living being after all , potentially it decided lotus is an exception and granted her powers in the same way as the operator?

What do you guys think ?

She was trying to close the Void portal. Because with Ballas dead, she's is the queen and controls Praghasa. The thing that its actually creating the portal.

No such thing as powers or pushing The Man in the Wall back. She just stopped the process of opening the portal by using the Sun as fuel.

Caliban's maker is ERRA himself maker of Archon who are literally Sentient-Tenno Hybrid. Caliban is a Tenno-Sentient hybrid.

Lotus is a special sentient redesign by Ballas; She choose to support Tenno, make it back to void and drains the powers of Archons (a Sentient-Tenno Hybrid).

-As such Lotus, she was tainted by the Void like most Zariman's crew but as she reject the Madness of the Void she does not "HOLD" the void power.

-Operators did go to the Void and Back and but as they accepted the power of Void while still fighting against the Madness (Like Reel in Harrow's quest)

 

Papy Vor can channel a bit of the void through his void Key bt does not Possess the Void Power like tenno. He is more than tainted, like more Corrupted.

Lotus does not drain Archons. She drains Archon Shards as a substitute power source because she lost hers to Ballas.

Thats how Archon Shards work. An alternate power source that can bring dead Sentients to life or in the case of the Lotus, capable of giving her more time to live until she can get her power back.

The Zariman crew is dead. They are remade by Void energy using Conceptual Embodiment. They are beings of the Void now. Lotus, just like any Sentient that attacked the Origin System, suffered damage to its reproductive capabilities. That's it. No such thing as being Void tainted.

The Lotus and the Zariman Crew are completly different in how the Void modified them.

the lotus and sentients can be void damaged, Lotus says she can no longer bare children of her own, we cannot specifically tell if that implies other sentients are affected but it seems that Hunhow is also void damaged and possibly Erra and all sentients in the origin system otherwise they wouldn't need to bring a massive armada across the inbetween of tau and the origin system, the only evidence specifying if the sentients are affected or not is the damaged murex with breeding pits

if the sentients can and most likely are affected in other ways it would be like the difference between the tenno and the zarimon crew

the other ways it affects others is void fissures that corrupt different things in different ways, void storms that destroy them, sometimes it harbours them like albrecht, or copies them like the tenno and albrecht 

it chooses what it wants the outcome to be
