Oxin
So I looked and I was thinking what will happen when the Invasion hits Themisto? Will the last enemy be the boss of the area or will it just be like the other Invasions where it's just kill everyone else then the mission ends. This was just something that came to mind I to tell the truth think THIS would be cool but I think to make it more of a good thing it'll need that the boss only shows up on your 5th run though. FillyRarity
The boss mission was left alone last event, I doubt it'll come under fire this one.
Valkyrie9001
Agreed, I'd like that.
Stormquake
But then it'd get screwed up because if you're in a party, you're on different run counts.
Kaian-a-coel
My bet is on "no boss, it's like all other missions", but that would be lame.
theasl
Or, once we finish this one, the big reveal comes and Alad V simply replaces the Golem. Lame, but effective. Edited November 24, 2013 by theasl

Oxin
wait.... Alad V will replace the J3 golem.... which means that no boss will drop volt .... NNOOOOO Edited November 24, 2013 by Oxin
WhisperByte
How would that work? Who'd drop Volt parts. Still J3. DE are (or at least were) planning to make invasions a randomly occurring event (like an alert of some sort) where Infested try invade random node. I guess that's where J3 will be
XCureWhite
Yes the J3 Golem will be replaced by the new Boss, Alad V and Zanuka. It was stated in the Patchnotes. Here: "J3 Golem will be moving from his home on Themisto and our spys indicate that he may strike at any time. Look for Infested invasions on your in-game alert display; we have reason to believe that if there is an invasion where a boss would normally be found you are likely to find the J3Golem there instead (we also suspect him to be carrying Volt Warframe component blueprints!)" Oxin
Well if J3 will live on in RNG then they need to rework or replace him still.

alchemistjkt
Nothing different from Banshee (kinda) and Vauban just more rng stacked on more rng is all. regardless, its annoying and not needed. DE needs to have a better way of going about it.
FillyRarity
Nothing different from Banshee (kinda) and Vauban I compared it to that in my mind. I get Banshee and Vauban, I really do. They're powerful warframes with interesting abilities. Their parts being rare makes a lot of sense. But volt? The centre of so much controversy as being "Useless" and "Underpowered"? Making him a rare thing to get? Makes no sense to me, but I may be understanding. Edited November 24, 2013 by FillyRarity
XCureWhite
They wanted to replace the J3 Golem with the J-2000 Golem "Lephantis". But they decided to place this new Golem in the Orokin Derelict, so the old J3 Golem didn't get a replacement. Yeah but I hope he will be reworked in the future, because he is like a normal Infested. It's like Sgt. Nef Anyo, he looks like a normal corpus guy. So we have to wait for all the reworks...

FillyRarity
afaik, the new system has actually made him quite powerful. (have not actually used him though, just hearing some clan mates talk of him) I've used him a little. I see a lot more potential in him. Mainly his ultimate doesn't freeze you in the air anymore. Jump, thrust, touch down, electrical orb expands. Not enough in my mind though to make him rare. Maybe he shines on corpus, but wasn't that the problem originally, him only working well with corpus? Arg, I don't know anymore.
theasl
lol, yeah. Volt is so fun now. I took him through the infested event, he was slaughtering ancients with Overload. not even tater'd or forma'd. BUT. time to go Volt-hunting, everyone. Darkmoone1
I thought the plan was to re work him in the first place. Not stick him in the occasional alert out of sight and mind. I think that was before they re-named the new infested boss to Lephantis(Or w/e it's called now.).
Oxin
To tell the truth volt needs more extra stuff like Electric Resist or something...
Ohmlink
I'm pretty sure the people that want volt already have him. The only concern I have is how rare or common will these boss invasions be.
