The Limbo situation proposal

Hello everyone!

I've had an idea for a while now about how to make Limbo less frustrating to play with. Limbo can be a nuisance to play with for many players, because he has a visual clarity problem. To be more specific, at the moment it's really hard to spot if the enemy is in the rift or not. So, I have an idea how to fix this problem.

What if entities' colors would change for the black and white while in the rift? Just like the color swaps in the Duviri. I'm talking about the model and the close proximity from the object in the rift. This dependence would swap for the player inside the rift. The player would see the environment and "rifted" objects around them in black and white and the objects outside the rift would have the normal colors.

I would love to see this change made for Limbo in the future, if possible off course.

And what is your opinion on that?

While I've mentioned before on the forums that I think his rift mechanic needs to be changed to a simpler buff/debuff system, I do like the idea of a greater visual effect for enemies in the rift not just for other players knowing what enemies they can't damage, but also for Limbo players to allow keeping track.

personally the two biggest things Limbo needs right now are visibility and the removal of his dash portal. the dash portal just proves to be a nuisance for both you and your squad, it has no purpose.

The amount of times I do a sick backflip exiting the rift, firing a bullet, then quickly entering into the rift, JUST TO GET RUINED BY A SHARTED RIFT PORTAL is disappointing

I feel like this would be too big a of a change to leave exclusive to Limbo. Yeah there are some FXs where going black emissive isn't always the best option despite it being the universal magic disappearus option since the option is otherwise piss color filter if you've left it on default. Gloom is another example where having a visual exists but can be hard to see depending on color picked.

So having a more generous option like the one you are mentioning is a good alternative than hoping your allies went something other than Blinding White or magic smoke black so something like this would be great for rift mechanics but would love a solution, or this one, that is more applicable to various abilities than just being applied to the "worst" ability of this nature.
