kreftet
As the title states, the resemblance is just to much. Nice bit of nostalgia to be honest and they finaly merge the 2 games sort of it seems.
Loza03
Ah, with Warframe 1999? There's doubtless a mix of themes, though notably, Dark Sector wasn't actually the roots. The name 'Dark Sector' was put for a concept remarkably similar to early Warframe (with some differences - namely, it seems the concepts for the Corpus and Grineer were split when Warframe proper was made), and publishers basically had the game turned into the version that got published. Then with the money, DE went back and independently produced the original concept as Warframe.
Choomp_VT
there are very similar themes there, no doubt about it. but they never wanted to make "dark sector" the way it was released, it was suppose to be more like Warframe originally. i for myself love the classic 2000s main character vibe, specially with the mission objective calls, being a agent, and fighting some power crazy scientist. takes me back to games like Metal Gear rising, The Darkness, Dark Sector, and Prototype. honestly, im already feeling nostalgic for Warframe 1999, and its not even released!
