Forums - Switch Cross Save Account Login?

Greetings all,

I activated cross save during the small window that was open recently, and linked my PC account to my Xbox account. Now I'm having an issue with logging into the forums under my Xbox account. Any time I log in with my Xbox account credentials through Microsoft, the forums default to signing in under my PC account. My Xbox account is still my primary account, so I'm not sure why it's doing this.

Since I originated on Xbox, I've been using that account on the forums for almost 9 years. All of my forum history is on there going back to 2015. It would be a shame if Cross Save is just a clean slate and prevents me from accessing my old forum account.

 

EDIT: I just looked under account management and it doesn't even show my linked accounts anymore under the Cross Save info, it just says that Cross Save is closed now. Did they unlink everyone's accounts?

I did notice one time the other day that my Forum account got stuck on the wrong account while swapping accounts on the main website. Might be the forums get confused when the "same" account logs in and ignores the memo to update with your other info. Try deleating your cookies?
