Will Twitch drop issues on iOS be fixed?

@BSGMonk to answer you, the game comes under a full ios game, so you can make progress to the drop but can’t claim it, to actually claim the drop you’ll nerd to launch twitch on internet explorer, chrome, or firefox to make the claim hope that actually provides you an answer.

Twitch is bound by Apple's AppStore guidelines - because of this, unless the AppStore rules regarding "in-app items" are changed, and Twitch changes their rules to accommodate, all drops marked as "iOS Based Rewards", meaning they are usable items / rewards for an iOS app / game, can't be redeemed. This issue isn't present on other mobile devices because their policies don't (or didn't) have this restriction.

This is by design, so unfortunately that's just how it has to be going forward. There's not really anything DE can do about it, users should complain to Twitch and/or Apple regarding changes to their respective policies.

The thread gave a brief summary of what was happening, not what was being done to fix the issue, so no it hasn’t been answered per say because the issue persists.
