Qorvex Problem

I've been playing qorvex for a while and lately I've been feeling that something is not right with him.

I realised that his passive and Chyrinka Pillar is what is holding him back 

1: His passive does not fit or help him in any way. Passives are supposed to support and help the abilities of the warframe it's on.

His passive only helps guns and the more I play qorvex the more it shows that he's not a weapon platform frame but a caster frame. Yes his Containment Wall can line up enemies in a straight line, but when that happens it's better to use his crucible blast and not his weapon.

So give him a passive that increases the duration of radiation status by 50% and whenever radiation status reach 10 stacks enemies take 25% more damage.

Buy doing this we are able to keep the radiation status going and keep our damage ramp up. It also fits the theme of him being a radiation frame.

2: His Chyrinka Pillar base radius is low. At 250% range the radius becomes 20 meters which wouldn't be a problem, if line of sight wasn't apart of it. 15 meters and base would really help.

Yes line of sight was fix and it's better that it was, but because of the way tile sets are made, line of sight still is a issue.

So how do we fix this?. This is were his Containment Wall comes in. Yes Containment Wall causes Chyrinka Pillar to pulse faster but because of line of sight that 5 second empowered duration is wasted by a wall or anything blocking the enemy. So why not give Chyrinka Pillar a pull effect for the empowered duration when hit by Containment Wall.

The pull is not affected by line of sight and is only active when Chyrinka Pillar is hit by Containment Wall for the empowered duration and only enemies that are in the radius of Chyrinka Pillar is pulled. Enemies are pulled to the top of Chyrinka Pillar the same way mag does with her Pull ability. By doing this it fixes the weakness of Chyrinka Pillar and helps damage emimes that would not be damaging by the tile set and the way it blocks damage to emimes.

But not only does it fix the weakness of Chyrinka Pillar it will also fix the weakness of Crucible Blast. Crucible blast needs crowds of Enemies to get it's full effect off, but if there is only couple of enemies around and they are not close to each other it won't work.

But if they are pulled all together then Crucible Blast get it's full effect off. Also if a enimies steps into the radius of Chyrinka Pillar during the empowered duration, then they will also be pulled and add to the enimies that will keep the explosion of Crucible Blast going.

By making these changes Qorvex would feel much better and his abilities will have better synergy with each other and fix each other's weaknesses.

 

His Containment Wall is ok just a little wacky, because some enimies right next to the outside of the wall don't get pulled and the way it's summon you can miss enimies.

His Dosimetric Guard is really good. The only thing that would help is a UI to see how much stacks our allies have.

His Crucible Blast is awesome and strong. Only weakness is not having enough enemies around. But with the fix to his Chyrinka Pillar that should help alot.
