Does Rift torrent need a fix?

Alright so we all know ho potentially good Limbo when it comes to either nuking a room, defending a spot(with the exception of no eximus) and pretty good survivability with his rift. Especially with the helminth being a thing the damage potential is unbound. With that said rift torrent(  that allows extra damage inside the rift as long as enemies are hit with rift surge) I've come to see that some helminth abilities when it comes to dealing any form of damage with the rift torrent boost don't apply to certain abilities. as some abilities work with it and deal plenty of damage some dont and the potential to make this ability really fun to use is diminishing.  do you guys think rift torrent should be worked on for helmith abilities to affect enimies in the rift?

They are already fairly few builds abusing Limbo capabilities (you can harm enemies, they cant harm you mechanic), but they are not very popular because Meta is about KPM (kills per minute) and ease of play and not about Surivability at all.

Catabomb can only be used to nuke low level missions (low damage, low damage scaling, no armor strip), mostly is used as over the walls Container breaker.

Afik the rift torrent mod gives a serration type damage buff, i.e. only buffs weapons. Only skills it affects are those that benefit from the weapon itself like breach surge
