  1. The thing is tho that normal protea's assets are ĺarger than her prime's
  2. Ah I misunderstood then. Yeah a function like that would be very useful for the skill.
  3. Only have 10 frames, but if I were to rank them: Limbo, his 131 just feels right, plus being able to lockdown a whole room while being immune to the weaponfire of any1 not in the rift is just the best. And if I really wanted to feel immortal I put silence on and watch as everything not damage me Ivara would be a second. Specifically her conc arrow build. Slap on well of life and watch the room drop and fill with orbs. Yareli is starting to grow on me, especially once I learned about the kompressa's interaction with aquablades. Wisp due to the memes about her assets being very accurate Nekros I'm currently experimenting on with darkverse, but I'm having fun with it Mirage coz clones+blindingly bright projectile weps Umbra and wu are tied here having built both as exalted melee users. They're ok, but I think wu pulls slightly ahead due to him being king of spy and rescue missions. Dante feels lackluster for a wizard, he's strong but his kit feels meh. Where's the fire balls, the lightning bolts, the cone of colds And khora is last coz she's effective, but boring. I only play her when I need to farm something and don't want to think that much about it.
  4. Cata is the worst part of limbo's kit; forcing everything to be on thesame side of the rift, removing the main defense of limbo. Its best use imo is to catch a large group, cast rift surge, then instantly close. Iirc its at 300% cast time you can pull off the combo with a nully up, and you'll rift the group before the nully can pop the bubble. That being said, rift surge feels very weak by itself, needing other skills to even do anything. The most fun I've had with it is a low duration build that causes everything w/o overguard to be knocked down every 3 sec. The skill needs to do something to affected enemies; dr, cc, a dot, anything to make it worth putting it on w/o using the augment. P.s. Rift surge can already bounce to enemies outside the rift when the original is killed.
  5. I'm just really curious where it came from as you're not the 1st I've heard it from. Managed to nip it in the bud when my clanmate said it by banishing a frost eximus during a netra run we were doing. Also silence an invincibility while your're in the rift and nothing else is to clarify
  6. Something I just thought of from this conversation: If limbo can shoot accross the rift, forget teammates here for a moment, whats stopping limbo from just subsuming silence, dodging into the rift at the start of the mission, and start killing while being immune to everything. Even the aco that turns off skills can't do anything to limbo at that state since being rifted is a passive.
  7. I like the idea. Personally would rather have the cross rift damage tied to 3, by having it apply a buff to limbo and his allies. For additional incentive to use it, change the 10 energy per rifted enemy killed to 10 energy per surged enemy killed/per enemy killed while under surge, maybe an augment to allow it to share the energy to the whole team. Also floating around the idea of a new augment called boubtiful rift, which causes all items picked up inside cata to have a chance to be doubled as a quick band aid. Make him inline with khora who wants to camp a corner for more loot. Imo that would get ppl to hate him less XD
  8. This statement here is false; eximuses CAN NOT shoot accross the rift, their abilities however CAN damage accross the rift. Subsuming silence on limbo basically turns your dodge is a rolling guard with no cooldown and infinite duration. They CAN be banished which is why this is in the description of stasis: "While active, enemy projectiles are arrested in mid-air, resuming its trajectory when stasis ends." Side note, out of curiosity, where did this "eximus can't be banished" thing even come from?
  9. If you're going wukong, I would recommend using energy nexus with enough duration to get atleast a 3 sec cloud walker so you end up neutral on your energy econ. You can also subsume perspicacity and never have to craft another cipher ever again. If you still have the mod slots, you can use cloud walker and make rescue missions a cake walk by giving the rescue target a long lasting invisibility by hovering over them for a few seconds.
  10. I mean my friend. I showed him the vid and he said the wukong did too many mechanics and walked up to the console instead of using a moa to remote hack wasting time XD
  11. Pretty sure he skipped some of the parts of that vid, not sure if its coz of an update or something. All I remember is that he uses master's summons to make to moa hack the console without having to get to the console, sometimes from behind the glass/wall, and that he used alot of shortcuts
  12. Wukong can do more than stealth; he's a very tanky frame due to all the survivability in his kit. You can build him as a wepons platform and take him to any mission type. You can also build him around his 4 if you wana have some fun with a vaccum stick XD Limbo I've really only seen him be better than wu at the lua spy mission. Iirc a friend has a build that managed to do it under 5 min using master's summon and the hack moa. Alternatively you can put ivara's arrows on limbo and give him on demand invis while also being able to ignore lasers
  13. I have no idea what you're talking about, so I'll just quote the wiki here Casts a wave of Rift energy that damages hostiles while pushing enemies and allies out of Limbo’s current plane of existence. Misc: 5 m (cone initial radius) 15° (spread angle) ∞ (dispel range) 2 e/s (Rift energy regen per second) 300 (Rift transitional Impact damage) https://warframe.fandom.com/wiki/Banish Never had it skip an enemy as you claim. Ovet guard isn't much of an issue, you can just shoot it off. Slowing them is a nice addon however. Flood doesn't do what you intend of it; its just a drain limbo's energy. Like I said: mobs barely last a second if at all, and thats not just from weapons. Even on sp they'll last maybe a second at most if they're an eximus so the energy regen practically doesn't exist. Ah, would be nice I guess. No clue why surge looping would be unwanted since its an active decision to either let something live that long l, or to unbanish them, unless you're doing a negative duration build
  14. But you do know his slash dash is capable of critting and can 1 tap even sp mobs while making you immune to hp damage, yes? Excal/prime excap is better than umbral for this since they don't have 3 umbral slots and they don't need an augment to not wander off and turn off your buffs when you go operator mode to wait out a status or deal with an angel or something. Also why not look at the helminth is an expansion of his kit? You were saying his 2 or 3 is useless anyway, so why not take one of them out (incase it needs to be said, you can only swap out 1 skill per loadout) for a skill you find useful; Find him too squishy? Slap on eclipse to get dr, or gloom to get lifesteal and an aoe slow. Also without the helminth segment you don't have access to archon shards, so you can't full strip armor with just corrosion and lose out on crit damage on melee weps, more shields/armor/health regen. Basically a whole other world of options for you.
  15. What do you mean by "chain mechanic" on banish? Stasis seems interesting. I'm guessing it'll work like wisp's motes/khora's venari ability; tap to cycle hold to cast? Energy regen on flood seems moot if its tied to banished enemies, in most cases enemies won't last more than a split second unless its a boss. Entangle seems like discount kullervo, not sure thats what limbo needs. Radius increase is nice, idk what removing surge on them is supposed to do tho, the radial banish is on unbanish No comment on 4. The way I use it is to open it, press 3, then pop it asap. Nullifiers are barely a factor to me. Only time its up for for a long duration is during def, mobile def or excavation missions.
  16. Would be nice, and still not too op for de to want to add los to the skill imo XD
  17. I don't keep stasis bubbles, I do the 1>3>1 or 4>3>4
  18. I see the confusion. The change was to make it not freeze ALLY bullets. Enemy bullets are fair game. Skill's description ingame even says so https://warframe.fandom.com/wiki/Stasis?so=search Freezes Rift-bound enemies. While active, enemy projectiles are arrested in mid-air, resuming its trajectory when stasis ends. and remember only eximuses can shoot under stasis
  19. test it yourself if you don't believe me, bullets of eximus units are frozen while stasis is up. Corpus tech eximus will be the most noticeable if you'd like
  20. it already does that, it just has a cap of 300 bullets before cancelling stasis w/o much warning. Correct me if I'm wrong, but they(de) nerfed limbo and/or his 4 every time it became a dps tool. Also, entering 4 through its edges already does damage, and can be alleviated by pressing 3, or turning off stasis till they're deeper into the bubble, or recasting the bubble.
  21. They made it so you can dodge out of being banished years ago
  22. Hmm interesting idea, I haven't really heard it he said that limbo just takes too much control out of ppl's hands in his current state. He is able to dictate how other people play by saying who you can or can't hit, and what you can or can't pickup, so I can see why people generally don't like him, especially since most don't know how to play him. An idea I've been floating around was to maybe make him like khora/hydroid: frames that want you to stay within a certain area and reward you for doing so with more loot. Maybe give him an augment mod where rifted enemies drop more loot, or items picked up inside his 4 have a chance to get doubled. That would atleast put him in line with khora who wants the team to camp her dome. Or perhaps make him either a more selfish frame, or let him allow cross rift shooting with his 3. Rework wise, I wouldn't be against a full rework of limbo, but only if de expand on his lore; who was he before he got rifted? What were his abilities back then? How did the rift change his abilities if at all? His current iteration I find enjoyable, but it doesn't really make sense to me. He died on his maiden voyage to the rift due to a miscalculation, how does ordis fixing that calculation suddenly give him total control over it? Imo limbo's rift mechanics should be on his passive and 4, with his 1 2 and 3 being remenants of who he was prior to the rift, possibly getting distorted/empowered by the rift while he's in the rift dimension.
  23. He already gives his 2 energy per sec regen to any ally in the rift with his passive, only thing it doesn't give allies is the 10 energy per rifted enemy killed, so are you asking to give that portion out as well? His 1 was changed into a cone aoe ages ago, and has a hold function to unbanish all things on the map (yes its a map wide aoe that ignores walls, something another wizard with a shorter range wasn't allowed to have /s XD) And his 4 will always inflict 300 forced impact on enemies that enters it, i.e. enemies frozen at the edges of it that reenter. If you want it to deal more damage, that could be a discussion to have, but I don't think de wants it to be a damaging skill.
