PlayStation 5 PSA: Crash When Entering Duviri Dojo Rooms (Resolved - More info in thread)

Hello PlayStation 5, Tenno!

There is currently a crash on PlayStation 5 caused by entering or exiting any of the Duviri Dojo Rooms (ie. Courtier's Bliss or Harbingers Pass) - while we investigate for a fix, we recommend avoiding these rooms (both in your own Dojos and Featured Dojos).

We'll update the thread here once we have a fix and when to expect it -- thank you!

Oct 4th update:
We just launched a Hotfix to address the above!

  • Fixed PlayStation 5 crashes caused by materials using low resolution lighting buffer  (glass, effects, etc.) under certain conditions.
    • We originally thought that the issue was specific to Duviri Dojo Rooms (as mentioned in the PSA), but after investigating we found that the crashes were caused by those materials present in the rooms and elsewhere throughout the game. For some, this might have been an additional headache if they had set up their Dojo spawn point near the rooms – essentially making the Dojo inaccessible since they’d crash upon loading in. We have temporarily disabled these materials on both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 to prevent these crashes. Certain areas may look a little different/unsightly for the time being, so we apologize for that! We’ll re-enable them once we have found a more permanent solution.
