Deal with it It is a shotgun, but it doesn't compete with most other shotguns for the chance to be carried into battle with your, it only competes against the 3 versions of the bronco. Malfeitor Posted December 17, 2013 Share Posted December 17, 2013 Depends on playstyle.The highest dps shotguns would be Sobek or Boar prime but that's just because of their RoF.The highest burstdamage/damage per shot shotgun, is the Tigris or possibly with the right mods the Hek.This of course is in practice. I'm sure some number cruncher with absolutely no ties to reality, could find a theoretically higher dps or damage per shot shotgun, if they took reload time, sustained fire and a theoretical enemy with unlimited life into account.Cause in the end dps is not everything. All enemies will die if you shot them enough and if you can accomplish that with one or two shots instead of half a magazine then you are arguably more effective. Cranial_Enigma Posted December 18, 2013 Share Posted December 18, 2013 Sobek is the best in my opinion, due to its good damage and high elemental proc chance. The boar prime will hold the slot in my heart for the first prime shotgun and my favorite shotgun even though the elemental proc chance got nerfed to 5% from 10% because it was deemed op, but the sobek has a 15% chance. Reku1 Posted December 18, 2013 Share Posted December 18, 2013 Boar prime since it's DPS is 17.1k. higher dps than soma or synapse, but, it completely devours ammo.
