Vicious Spread.. And A Very Confused Tenno

I would like to start first with the mod Vicious Spread for shotguns it give 90% more damage and the increase of spread.

 

Okay but here's were i throw in the curve ball, would it just be better to use lets say an elemental mod which just grants me the 90% without the hinderment?

most people say the lost for this one isn't bad tho but i would like a majority opinion on it

I tend to add puncture to my shotguns, and the more the spread, the more the amount of mobs that die. Mind you, my build is very niche and I like it a lot. It depends upon your choice of playstyle.

Vicious spread gives extra base damage, which means that if you plan on running two elemental mods already VS will give you more than a third elemental.

 

Hell even if you only have one elemental on already VS is still better than a second elemental.

Get the Drakgoon. Charge the shot. And there you have it. Problem solved. Each charged shot has a very nice tight spread. hehehe

vicious spread is a great mod ! more spread is great yay ! just get closer and enjoy

I put it on when I want more spread. Between Point Blank and Blaze +Damage is usually something I have covered.

The increased spread isn't very relevant. If you want to maximize your shotgun build, you need to use Point Blank, Blaze AND Vicious Spread.
