I really like that submission ,keep up that good work. Maybe you can add some colour variations in gold / silver / blue ? Furthermore it would be nice to have some more design variations of the logo and the eagle.

Hi, here is my first submission for the contest. Feel free to to contact me on the forums to discuss any adjustments and changes.

 

Working from the short brief, I decided it was best to go with a minimalistic approach given the small space available. The priority was that the emblem should be immediately visible and recognisable from a distance. Also, seeing as one of the requirements needed this emblem being applicable to other mediums, a simple and clean typographic icon would fit better when compared to an illustrative design.

 

As for the design itself, I took influence from the clan tag -EGT- and merged the two hyphens to have a more modern aesthetic. The border surrounding the type helped balance the surrounding white space and provides the icon a strong and coordinated feeling. Below are examples of the emblem applied in various ways.

 

 

The high resolution copy will be provided if/when this is the chosen design, thanks for reading.

okay here is a way you could do it: (there are many other ways too^^)

 

- search "upload pictures" with google. Now there are multiple sides who all do the same thing, but have different layouts ^^ ( e.g. http://postimage.org/ )

just click on a "upload picture" (or something like this) button on the website  and upload the pic you want to upload

- after uploading a picture they will (probably) offer you different links for different situations ( a lot of times you have a link for "forum original size" or "forum preview" or something like that)

- copy and paste this link here in the forum and it should show your picture

 

(How does this work? Well in this forum we use the BB Code so it is possible to use all the funcitons which are based on the BB code. if you have a picture of a website you could just use a command    there are a lot of other commands you can use ( like

or or ... but this is a different story xD oh  and to end a thing you have to write [/"command"] )

Most forums use the standard BB Code (BB Code List)

 

So you need to upload your Art at one of the free picture upload services (e.g. I use the german Site pic-upload.de) and add img infront and /img behind the link. It should look like this one:
