Gravitational Lens (25)
Create a field of gravity around the target warframe that bends light in time and space preventing enemies from seeing what is truly there. The closer the enemy is to the field the greater the effect the illusion has. If an ally is not targeted then the warframe will be effected by the field instead. Only one field may be active at a time for duration of 10 seconds. Upgrading the ability will increase the distance in which the target will become invisible.
Strength mods have no effect
The distance the invisibility becomes active is increased with range mods
The time the Lens is stable is increased with Duration mods
Cost is reduced by Efficiency mods

Inertia (50)
The warframe becomes a dense mass and sprints forward knocking enemies back and down to the ground. The ability increases the sprint speed by 30% and allowing the warframe unable to be knocked down, however, controlling the frame in lateral movements will be dampened due to the speed and mass the frame has assumed. Inertia will last for as long as the warframes stamina pool will sustain the ability or when forward movement has ceased. Upgrading the ability will create a gravitational pull that increases in strength each level increased.
Damage increased with strength mods
Area of effect is not increased with range mods
Duration is not increased with Duration mods
Cost is reduced by Efficiency mods

 

Time Dilation (75)
Create a time differential mass. Time within 5 m. of the mass will be slowed and time outside that diameter up to 20 m.will be sped up. Fire rates, reload speeds, attack speeds, shield and health regeneration are all effected negatively within 5 m. and positively outside that range. (Think of 5 m. being zero. The further you go from zero the greater the influence both negative and positive, so the objective is to have that mass as close to enemies as possible and the frame being right at the edge of the max radius). Upgrading the ability will increase the time the mass is active.
Positive and negative effects are increased with strength mods
Diameter is increased with range mods
The masses time active is increased with Duration mods
Cost is reduced by Efficiency mods

 

Center of Gravity (100)
The warframe becomes an unknown dense metal that forces enemies to its center as a result the frame movement is greatly reduced. Over a period of 5 seconds a charge builds until it is super conducted which then releases causing an explosion of energy damaging all enemies. Enemies that are forced to the frame amplify the damage when the charge is released. Upgrading the ability increases the time it takes for the charge to build.
Energy release damage is increased with strength mods
The distance enemies can be attracted from is increased with range mods
Duration increases the charge time with Duration mods
Cost is reduced by Efficiency mods

Charge (25)
Set a charge on a target that emits magnetic damage to any target that comes within 5 m. of the affected target.
Damage increased with Strength mods
Area of effect increased with Range mods
Duration increased with Duration mods
Cost decreased with Efficiency mods
Propulsion (50)
Propel the warframe by magnetic propulsion with a powerful melee lunge creating a wake field that draws all items and enemies with the frame as it moves forward. The lunge lasts for as long as the stamina is not depleted. If the bar is depleted the frame will be welded to the ground for a short duration emitting a charge that can damage enemies but makes the frame quite vulnerable.
Damage increased with Strength mods
Area of effect is not increased with Range mods
Duration is not increased with Duration mods
Cost decreased with Efficiency mods
Like Polarities(75)
Create a pulse charge to a diameter of 20 m. that charges enemies and sends them from the warframe. The closer the charged enemy the further the charge will send them.
Distance the charge sends the enemy is increased with Strength mods
Area of effect increased with Range mods
Duration is not increased with Duration mods
Cost decreased with Efficiency mods
Gravity (100)
Create a magnetic field that pulls enemies towards the frame. When 10 enemies or 10 seconds has elapsed the field becomes unstable and explodes. 20 m. range.
Damage increased with Strength mods
Number of enemies is increased with Range mods
Duration is not increased with Duration mods
Cost decreased with Efficiency mods

As an edition:

Human Shield (25)
Encapsulate an enemy with a magenetic field and hold them out in front and offset of the warframe as a human shield deflecting bullets.
Damage is not increased with Strength mods
Area of effect is increased with Range mods
Duration is increased with Duration mods
Cost decreased with Efficiency mods

True and point taken, however, is it such a bad concept to have more than one type of frame utilizing the same energies? I admidt that I overlooked Mag being the dedicated magenetic frame(hence the name, obviously) but as one person posted about it being a gravity based frame instead; the idea behind all this is user feedback and brainstorming ideas. I dont mind critisism, good or bad, I am only interrested in helping move toward a common goal of making the game better, more diverse, and maybe spark something entirely new.

 

Feel free to build up on it, tweek it, or if it does draw enough negative feedback I will just remove the topic per user opinion/feedback.

Nah, you don't have to delete the topic. The thing is just to find a way to make it truly unique from another warframe with similar abilities.

 

Say... the warframe has a magnetic power similar to a 'rail gun'. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Railgun

 

The character grabs a piece of random debris from the area, flattens it into a slug, and fires it outward that causes a large AoE at impact with that's effected by Power Strength, but it also has a 2.2m Punch-Through effect with a high Alpha damage on 'soft' targets that are directly impacted.

 

Feel free to steal that power suggestion.

I like the idea of utilizing items that you find in the level to create a power to use along with energy to supply it. Perhaps that idea might spark the creation of new consumables that could be researched in the dojo to use in conjunction with what you might "salvage" from the level in the event you find it difficult to resupply your consumption needs.
