Anyone Think They Should Have Rare Beast Hunts

It wouldn't fit in with the lore, I think.

 

There is some cool wildlife being added to different areas of the game before long, though.

 

As for bosses, they're going to be much better from here on out. The new upcoming Jackal and Vay Hek are going to knock people's socks off.

Earth only, and similar to the Harvester/G3/Stalker event. Make them climb out from over a wall, and then a large fight, have multiple different types of Monsters that drop different things (ones an "infested" melee spear, another drops a rare nightmare mod for example).

 

The idea of a Rare Monster Hunt as a type of mission, although fun, would fit the category of Assassination much better. having multiple Monsters would fit if you randomized the monster at the end of the mission, and having it released from a grineer cage or hunting grineer troopers.

I suggest:

Nature lab: new dojo room where we can research special mods and possible gear (temp. power ups?)

IF DE where to add more wildlife we could go out and collect samples of the animals, some animals might be very hard to find/defeat/get a sample from and so occationally there could even be alerts - monster hunt ;P

(Plants would also be important, go away peta!)

 

Aquarium: As seen in DEs' concepts there was an aquarium. If swimming makes it into the game this could also be a part of the "Nature lab". We could collect fish/water plants.

 

If there were many fishies we could feed them with nano spores :D Conduct research to "cure" the nanocyte plauge or what not (new rescue mission on civilian homeworlds? rare wildlife included).

Also a game of "collect them all" - catch an animal/plant = shows up in dojo.

 

back to topic - yes monster hunt could be fun, it could fit with lore - there is hardly any lore, there are animals and freakish infested - make new lore = tada! ingame. Towering beasties ahead!
Kill that infested spacewhale!
