Llyssa
Something I've been meaning to post: Castanas do not hurt lephantis. Hitting him in his glowing spots with a thrown castana does nothing. Detonating a castana on him when his glowing spots are exposed does nothing. Detonating a castana in mid-air when his glowing spots are exposed and within the blast radius does nothing. You cannot kill lephantis with castanas. Period. This is probably true for Ruk as well. Is this intentional, or can it be fixed somehow?
egregiousRac
This is true of the Penta as well, although the Penta can deal slight damage via impacts.

ntyd1s
Neither does it work on power core sabotage.
Alighierian
afaik the damage caused by 'blast' or 'detonation' or w/e you want to call it, goes to the closest part on the targets. so if you aim above the enemies with a penta or ogris, you get loads of headshots. against lephantis, however, it seems the 'targeting' for the blast effect doesn't target the right spot, but goes for an immortal part, keeping you from doing damage
Shanicus
I think it's something to do with how it's a projectile weapon that also has a secondary effect for it's damage, but instead of applying to the weakpoint it gets applied to the invulnerable parts - the Ogris suffers something similar, in that you'll do damage to Lephantis about 1 in 10 shots and the Acrid will either rarely trigger it's DoT or do massively reduced damage to it. Dunno if it's a bug or just a side-effect of bosses having limited-time weakpoints. It's not an issue with AoE weapons though, as both the Ignis and Phage can hit Lephantis' weakpoints easily. It is interesting that the Ignis can hit just fine though.
