De- Your Sleek Coding Overwhelmes Me

His message seemed clear to me. Sure it's not very tact-full, but if I had to be rubbed the wrong way every time someone says something passionately and corrosively about something they care for my life would become hell. Heck you guys are as passionate about the game as he is. No need to go all "white knight in a shiny armor" on him :D  At least he goes straight to the point ^^

This isn't even "white knight in shiny armor." It's "follow the explicitly clear and simple-to-follow rules on the forums if you want us to take you seriously."

As was mentioned by JRMC, the "feedback" he's providing isn't even real feedback.

720+ hours last time i checked perhaps more now cause i play very frequently.

That's quite a bit of play-time there. I'm at 1100+ and tbh I'm losing patience. I can understand that some players might feel the frustration regarding certain aspects of the game when each week new gear arrives yet some old issues still remain. Hopefully you won't get to that point, DE needs its player-base to believe in them or the game will go empty real fast.

I understand you guys trying to help out DE but this post isn't that bad to me. It shows that parts of the player-base are dealing with frustration and anger because of some non-addressed old issues. If anything, it's a sign that part of the community is losing patience and it shouldn't be taken lightly. The mood on the forums has changed a lot since the beginning days. Much more anger and frustration and much less enthusiasm. Don't shoot the messenger, and if the message comes out wrong, maybe just help the guy express his ideas better ;)

No need to to pour oil on the fire ^^

What rule did he break ? Sarcasm isn't tolerated any more ? And if he did break a rule, where are the mods ? They're usually fast to respond ...

1b) DEVELOPER BASHING – let’s face it, we aren’t perfect, we know this – we’re humans making a game. We work hard and read the forums with earnest care, so any insults will be cleaned up on the spot and not tolerated. We're not your punching bag on our Forums. Constructive feedback is encouraged and key to us improving the game.

For clarification:

What is an insult? “DE are idiots and lazy for not adding trading.”

What is constructive feedback? “DE stated that trading will happen. Here’s how I think it should work.”

2) POSTING – Use our forums to talk to us and talk to each other in an intelligent respectful way (see Rule #1) that encourages interaction and thoughtful discussion. Stay on-topic, constructive and use descriptive Topic titles. Don’t RAGE POST, have misleading Topic titles, post spam, advertisements, unreleased Design Council information, pornography or any other inappropriate, offensive or irrelevant content to the Forums in text or image form. We will delete it, and if you don’t stop, there will be consequences as per our warnings.

Edit: No, wait, you're right. He's not technically breaking any rules. My apologies. (Not sarcasm.)

Believe me my holster is empty in the forums, I myself am just trying to understand what he is trying to complain about but his complaints are more focused around simple lag problems with probably the host and his other problem being that he dislikes the new sentinel even though its supposed to be a completely new step for DE as they have never made a melee sentinel before.

But then as he starts to swear at the developers, to the point that DERebecca had to step in to delete it is the proof that i need that he is just venting anger. Even though he is not the first to rage about the sentinel. Although i do not see it a proper excuse to go onto the thread of the game that the Dev's created and post in such a way.

That would be Equivalent to buying a cookie from a little girl, letting someone you've never met hold the cookie (to which they drop it and the cookie breaks apart), then going back to the person who sold you that cookie and yell at them for not making the ingredients stronger.

Locking because the original poster does not seem to want to offer constructive feedback.

In the future if you encounter issues like these Collstro, you should open a support ticket and send in your EE.log, as that will help the coders identify exactly what problem is occurring when/where, and how to fix it.
