My Boltor Prime Build Good Enough?

Hi guys,

 

This is my current boltor prime build, it currently does the job for me but i could consider another forma and other mods if required. 

 

I'd appreciate any feedback :)

 

Please note that my heavy cal is not max, i sold my maxed one and right now maxing this one is not an option .-. so i have to deal with this one, thank you!

I use shred, and instead of corrosive i use viral, just works better IMO

Scrap Hammer Shot I'd say. Boltor P is not really a crit/status weapon.

Get rid of that Hammer Shot...

With this build you only have to switch out Hellfire for the magnetic and viral build.

Can also switch out HS for an elemental mod for more damage.

Yeah, swap hammer shot for some Cold damage to help with shields.

Yeah, i use infected clip and i might need and since i use the same mods in other weapons it would be hard to max it out, but ill keep in in mind, thanks!

For now, just swap Hammer Shot for Cryo Rounds from your original build, and move polarities around to make Corrosive/Cold.

 

Eventually cap SplitChamber, Heavy Cal, and Stormbringer by adding another Forma, or by dropping an event mod.

Will do, to cap heavy cal might be an issue since i need to max another serration and then id start with heavy cal but the rest i can do! Thanksl! :D

-Works well with all types of Grineer.  Can spray and pray up until 30 mins in a tier 3 survival (ie. Nuevo), after that some headshots required on heavies, napalams, and bombadiers.

 

Void: http://goo.gl/0PxaPK

-Works well on most types of enemies in a T3 Survival, except the Corrupted Gunners.  After about 30 mins they will start eating up your ammo.  As a point of reference, a 6 Forma Synapse will also encounter the same "drop-off" around 30-40 mins.

 

Edit: I prefer not to use Shred, as I favor damage per bullet vs. damage per second.
