Bibliothekar
Have you ever considered, what became of the Orokin, why they disappeared? Maybe they didn't. Maybe they are still here. Maybe they hid themselves in plain sight. Maybe they turned themselves into those nasty shield drones whizzing about in the towers. Circumstantial evidence that supports this idea: - They are everywhere in the towers, so they can keep the Corrupted under control. - They are immune to melee attacks. - They are immune to targeted abilities like Ripline, Well of Life and Energy Vampire. Only other unit we know, that shows the same traits, is Stalker. (Some other units are immune to side-effects like the stun, but can still be targeted.) History likes to repeat itself. And we already had this once, with the Toclafane.
(PSN)Pengu_Imperialus
I thought we executed them with extreme prejudice. They didn't disappear so much as die a horrible death.
Siekier
They "disappeared" when we slaugthered them. Ask Stalker, he'll tell you.

Unless you're saying the Orokin are now Jesus, but let's be honest: we all know he was cheating. He had God-mode on
Ryme
Those Orokin who weren't killed by the Tenno, split off into the Grineer or Corpus. There's also supposedly neutral civilian populations, but we have no interaction with those people, aside from the occasional hostage rescue. I think the Orokin were the ruling faction of the humans at the time, so yeah, we wiped out the Orokin (just as entire royal families have been wiped out in the past) but the rest of humanity were left alone and did become the Grineer/Corpus. Clawtank96
They are not alive. I made my Dual heat swords very good friends with their faces.
