Complaint Section For A Healthier General Discussion

The anonymous internet generates a ton of complaints and they simply arent something you can escape on a game forum, but most of the topics simply voicing a complaint hardly engender discussion.  Discussion is, I think, an integral part of the General Discussion sub-forum.  I think it would be helpful to have a complaint sub-forum so that less of these topics end up in the GD.  Outlining in GD that complaints without posing any real duscussion material are subject to being moved to the complaints sub forum would allow the GD to be slightly more tolerable to the average member of the warframe community. 

 

Our community must be nurtured and that includes encouraging the behaviour we feel acceptable.

I may agree with your goals and ideals, but it's never going to happen.

Yeah it really requires heavy moderation, but if there were ever a desire to moderate more, it would at least give mods another option.

That's something to consider though: what's considered "complaint" and "discussion" according to the mods? Sometimes it may happen that we see a "moved to the proper section" that's improper because it may be too subjective.

 

Some "complaints" are actually very constructive feedback, except that they're also filled with rage and discontent (sometimes justified too). Ironically, those are also some of the threads DE respond to directly as opposed to a few more neutral constructive criticism.

 

In that sense, I think there isn't a necessity to make another section to moderate like this.

I guess a complaint for them is just saying "please nerf/buff(...)", "that new feature, I hate it" without reason,and so on... Something that really isn't constructive. And a discussion is more like some suggestions to properly implement a thing, an interesting overview on the new additions to merge them better with the game.
