Demon_Mask
So I was just in a tenno cell doing Ceres dark sector survival. I was hydroid, there was also a vauban, zephyr and a mag. We got to a point of all spamming our 'ragdoll' abilities and needles to say things got out of hand. I was hosting on my new $4.5k rig and the lag was outrageous! All in all I am curious if this is because the shipyards and a new and not fully optimised tileset, or was it just the ragdoll spam?
Vyrn
Vortex + Tentacle Swarm can cause serious frame rate issues for a few moments, so adding more to it would cause a lot of trouble lol
BrotherIcarus
Frame rate not lag.
Demon_Mask
I was calling it lag in a hardware sense, as in graphics lag, or framerate. Issues. - didn't expect nitpickieness lool.
Jeloxale
Frame rate not lag. That is common miss-use of the term.
CaramelSalted
depends whos hosting .. if the host has a bad pc that cant handle all of that info then you will suffer what seems like lag same goes for if they have bad internet considering this is more of a peer to peer game then a server based one
[DE]Momaw
Was this a persistently bad frame rate or spikes? Because I've noticed a lot of instances lately where (I assume) the physics engine goes completely haywire when operating on ragdolled corpses that have gotten trapped in the world geometry and are being stretched. Frame rate nose dives from 50ish to 10 or less until the corpse settles down.
Demon_Mask
It was pretty constant, but did have some periods worse that others.
