(PSN)MrGhillie07
So i have some platinum that I want to use to purchase a gold color. I heard that the storm color palette has a gold, but does that really look like gold? I want a gold like prime weapon gold.
izzatuw
You can't exactly get proper gold color like primes. Shamrock has decent colors
PsychedelicSnake
Right now you can have gold coloring, but not the golden sheen that actually makes something look metallic.

Ghostar
I find that Gold best comes from the Flame pallet, Also if you want something like Prime weapons, the Twilight pack comes with a nice white and off white color similar to most orokin stuff. SPRBridgett
If you want the gold colour most Prime Warframes use, it's in the Classic Saturated. Middle row, an off yellow/tan colour. It's used on frames like Rhino Prime, Frost Prime and Ember Prime as the non-shiny bits on their colour schemes. It's the closest looking you can get to the Prime gold! (PSN)cmbailey2
I don't have the Storm color palette, but I have Grineer an it has some decent yellow/gold colors that work for me.
Angius
There is no shiny gold, no shiny metallic colours at all. If you're looking for brown-ish yeloww-ish "gold", then Storm has some of those. Generally speaking, check in here: http://warframe.wikia.com/wiki/Colour_Picker_Extension
OldGodKing
The best one you could get for any palette that would have decent variety would be the Classic Saturated. The pale yellow ones are as good as gold especially if you use them for energy colors. Pretty close to gold.
(PSN)MrGhillie07
I wanted a prime looking ash :( oh well. Thanks guys
(PSN)The_Moustache
I use the Grineer set first column, third row.
Angius
And thanks Lotus that there are no metallic palettes. Otherwise we would have tons of people looking like golden statues. Like those Minecraft kids, that think every shack built solely from diamond and gold blocks is pretty...
deth_monkey69
Storm, second row from the bottom, second color from the right is what I use.
Cyborger1
I find some of the best "Prime" gold can be found in Shamrock, though if you didn't get it this year's St Patrick, you'll have to wait until next year's.
