SteelCent, I check your posts...they seem a bit off... who are you really? >.>

I'm not a stranger to people trying to pass as players/clients etc in order to get intel...among other thing...Not saying its wrong but...with current rumors going about and how much PW is HATED over here...

BE very careful where you thread this, this community is very zeolous about this game and Love it to death... and you sound like one of PW query people to get player Intel for up coming future implemented marketing... you will get burn, shot and decapated quick... if people star to think that your favoring PW... XD

Just a friendly warning... fellow...Tenno... >:)

I like the people taking this seriously. I almost did at first until I got to "Lotto boxes" and saw everything in it.

9/10 I laughed heartily.

It was Try Hard packages that got me.

Though to be honest, I personally think Nexon's worse in their money grubbing.  It would be the equivalent of Mod fusion having a chance to fail (destroying the mod), unless you purchase an item with real money that can be traded that'll negate that.  And certain ranks of all mods are locked until you buy an unlocker in the cash shop.  And there are a ton of pointless events that drop boxes that give random items- 99% of the time it's something useless and easily obtainable but 1% of the time it's a supercharged Prime weapon at rank 30 with amazing mods already strapped to it.  And each weapon/warframe introduced is superior to all other weapons/warframes previously created and can only be purchased in the cash shop.  But hey, the blueprints can be traded, so it can't possibly be pay to win!

And a minor note, all new warframes introduced would be a combination of two other warframes.  Like the brand new Astrinity- now you can be thuper thtealthy thecret and infinitely heal yourself!  But it's totally different from Ash or Trinity, don't think we ran out of ideas!  Get it now before they're gone forever!

When did PWE infiltrate the forums, I have seen like 10 of these thread in the last 4 day, all started by people that made their account the day before they made their first p2w thread.....

Yep Seen it happen in other games... these is how they start... you can easily tell by:  when did their account became active, their post... and names... since its a free to play they can create countless account to star these off weird marketing post... that why I gave a friendly warning just in case its real player... But i have notice these too... sadly. :( or it could be players joking on the community...who can really say...

ALERT TENNO WE ARE BEING INFILTRATED BY PWE STALKERS!!! XD

Buncha sourpusses lol

Even if DE sells mods outright, who gives a F***? The whiny people who don't realize this is a free-to-play game with no focus on PvP ever? Party-poopers? Curmudgeonly old gamers?

So what if players can give DE $5 and get a pack of cool mods, it has no significant effect on anyone else.

to the above poster - How DE does things is the game today, not the future.

How China does things is the future, not today.

The game is not finished being developed, there are plans to expand on pvp.

Basically you have zero idea how to make successful games which people on this side of the planet would want to play.

It's not a guess, it is reality. It's an inexperienced opinion and it shows. The effect which you don't realize are

gamers' in the community (Not that this affects a loner without friends) will leave the game for a superior product

that was made for people on this side of the planet. If you had watched the power-point which was linked several times

you could begin to understand these concepts.

DE does not make all the money under a pay model you are suggesting. Their pay model is the current model we enjoy. A company who wishes to acquire DE, and reap those profits are of Chinese descent. They simply do not understand how to create games for the western hemisphere. It is not so much the race which is concerned here, rather the geological location. Because of the cultural background of Eastern Hemisphere nations such as China - It is acceptable to produce games which are based around the notion your success in real life will determine your success in a game. In western culture we like to separate this. In the Western hemisphere games fail under the Eastern model. The Eastern model is set up specifically so that if you are to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars there are still more investments to make. You will be through a million dollars before you max a single frame in weapons and modules. This is not a joke or misconception - This is game development in China. The game as you experience and enjoy it now would have limits imposed on how much you can play the game a day. If you want to experience the game in full as you currently do - hundreds of additional dollars of investment are required.

This link, if you care to learn why you are incorrect - Will teach you some core differences in the game design between East and West. You will than see how anyone educated on the subject will think your response rather silly and uninformed. The staff at DE does not magically get compensated for their work when a Chinese company acquires DE. The money made goes to the country of China. The reason why you don't have many options when dealing with China is they will steal the game and code it with all the stolen intellectual property, legally in China.

What is important here is the community is very much attached to the lovable staff DE sports. Regardless of what decisions the suits make - The staff has insured they will continue to pour their hearts and souls into the development of the game. If they want to have jobs next month, next year - they will continue to develop - They have no say in the matter. The proceeds generated will not affect the staff we love, instead that money will positively affect the growth of China as a nation. Know where the money goes and who gets it - Do not assume the staff you like will be paid for their hard work.

Again it is important to discern the differences. The model does not work in the Western Hemisphere as the presentation touches on how unsuccessful China has been at converting games in the past. We are culturally different and accept different things in our games. It is important you realize - because the model does not work, people in the Western Hemisphere would not play the game under the Chinese monetization model. So many of the English speaking players who may share a geographical location with you - Will not be playing with you under a Chinese influenced model.

Please review the presentation before commenting further so that you will understand how to create a logical post concerning this matter. http://www.gdcvault.com/play/1016417/-100-000-Whales-An   .

Be sure to say bye to your friends, bye to your clan, and hello to the fallout if you want to see the Hardcore Chinese pay model. The prices mentioned in the original post will be reflected, and maybe you like acquiring a new rare model for $25 when you used to be able to find them without paying for them. but know DE will have a couple of those dollars and China will have the rest - and know you will have no option to find those modules yourself as the drop rates will be tweaked accordingly. $500-750 dollars to simply be able to do unlimited boss and dark sector runs is exactly what will happen - Where as currently you can do this free and support DE itself and not China when you donate for platinum. It is not a pretty site what China does to Western games, it ruins them fully and completely.
