Why Release Updates Late On Nights Rather Than Early On Mornings

So much sarcasm in this thread. The question is why they release in the middle of the night, and that's it. I'm not implying anything else.  If the choice is to stay awake all night punishing your body with caffeine to release and then stay even LONGER in case there are any explosions on first deployment, versus, making the update ready to go and then getting some sleep before pushing it out the door the next morning...??
