Just saw this thread and have to admit I love this idea, millions of players would be hitting that 5p option on a regular lol.

 

Its kinda like how Star Wars The Old Republic has 2 options:

 

1) Free to play and get to choose only certain rewards after mission completion

 

or

 

2) Subscribe and get ALL rewards after mission completion!

 

To entice the player to spend little plat to earn more rewards would generate a far greater revenue instantly and makes sense.

I don't really like this. I like the boosters, but what you are suggesting here is what DE has been doing wrong about the Market for a long time: Shove the Platinum stuff in your face (in the market without telling you there are blueprints for credits, making the game look like Pay2Win).

That is actually a really good idea OP, I'd certainly spend a little plat to double up on some neurodes or cells, or even mod cores after a run.

XP boosters are great. You can 0-30 a weapon in 15 min 

 

Considering the idea I dont like it. Its too much free2pay.

I don't have an opinion on the xp and resource double, but I dislike the idea of doubling mods. You could get lucky and find a crimson dervish or whatever, you use 5p and get another one, you just earned a bunch more plat than you lost. I don't think the doubling mods would work out well.

 This is a horrible idea, f2p games have a hard enough time staying away from the dreaded p2w death sentence, and you want to willingly add one to the game? Sigh!
