Vortex Aoe Not Affected By Power Range?

This is kinda lame... Why can't you expand the pull radius with Vortex? I feel like it would be so much more fun if you could expand it.

It's never been able to expand. This is so you can't stunlock half a level with stretch+overextended

Its already able to destroy chokepoints and eliminate endless waves of helpless enemies who just walk right into it

I'd like that too, but it's a balancing thing, Vortex is pretty dang powerful as is when used in the right place (particularly against the Infested who just run right into it). I can't imagine this happening without DE adding some kind of tradeoff (such as a target limit as is the case with Bastille).

You can increase the duration without any penalty, you should be happy.

vortex is a powerful enough ability as it is it doesnt need an aoe expansion, just throw another one, having max duration and good pwr eff vortex's are good enough without adding a stretch into it as well, thats kinda more OP than it is already.
