Frost Prime Build Suggestions?

So I made a Frost Prime, but because I first had a really long break, and I'm used playing Excalibur. I currently came up with this build, cause I had the mods. Could really use some pointers for this. I mostly got the Rifle Amp, cause I'm currently using a awful weapon, but will be replaced tomorrow.

 

 

Frost prime (Orokin Reactor) mods:

Rifle amp (Max)   (Will replace the polarity slot to a different one, or replace it with rejuvenation.)

Redirection (Max)

Vigor lvl1

Snow Globe

Avalanche

Freeze

Flow lvl2

Fast Deflection lvl3

 

Current weapons:

MK1-Braton:

Point Strike 125% crit

Setteration (Max)

Speed Triffer lvl3

 

MK1-Kunai:

Hornet Strike (Max)

Pistol Gambit lvl3

Quick Draw lvl2

 

Dual Heat Swords:

Pressure Point (Max)

Sundering Strike (Max)

Parry lvl1

Life strike lvl1

Fury lvl1

 

 

Weapons Currently on Cooldown in the Foundry:

Boltor Prime (Have a Orokin Reactor ready for it)

Aklex

Galatine (Planning to replace it with nikana once I have the BP)

It depends what do you want to achieve. If you are looking for a Snowglobe build, throw away Fast Deflection and Flow, instead install Steel Fiber and Intensify.

 

Also -Intensify is pretty much a must on majority of builds.

 

As for MK-1s there's no real point in creating builds for them, since they are meant to be replaced by stronger weapons as soon, as they hit 30.

 

Also:
1. Crit builds are useless for non-crit weapons

2. Reactors are for frames, sentinels and Kubrows, Catalysts are for weapons

3. Boltor Prime is a god-tier weapon
4. Galatine is rather sub-par, just like pretty much every single heavy weapon

what you need to think:

first you need to choose do u keep all 4 spells
the you choose do you want duration for snow globe. others spell don't need
big small or normal range. big globe and big area for avalance -> globe akward? avalanche awesome?
power cost? bling rage or not, maxed power str or optimal power str. 

defensive way, quick thinking way or classic way hp shield way, steel fiber?

you got vigor but no vitality?
I hope people did not rip you off for mods and boltor p :L

It appears that you are a fairly new player, so you wont have (or access to) the mods needed to really maximise a build. For a build without involving Corrupted mods, I would go with:

3 abilities - IW, SG, Ava

Streamline to make it cheaper, Flow to be able to cast more in a row.

Redirection to stay alive. Vitality in case shields do go down, and to survive bleeds/toxin. Vigor if you want instead of Vital.

Intensify to do more damage, Stretch to hit a larger area.

 

<Wildcard> Anything you want, from a 3rd shield/health mod, to shield regen (good if you don't have Guardian), Natural Talent, Rage, Rush, etc... Really whatever you want.

 

For a SG focused build,

Replace Stretch with Steel Fiber.

Continuity or Constitution as Wildcard to extend the life of Snowglobe.

I got my Boltor prime set for 15p and got rifle amp maxed for 10p. I also do have a vitality, but my frost prime is still rank 19, so I don't have the points to use them all, but thanks for the link, though!

Crit build amprex: Clears groups faster.

Soma:outdamages boltor prime in dps when accounting for headshot consistency

Boar prime: outdpses boltor prime at close range

Cleaving whirlwind: 300%(?) damage on broken bull spins and i believe each spin could hit twice?

Also jatt kittag ground slams
