How Well Does The Boar Prime Proc?

Hey, I've been wondering a bit about the Boar Prime. You can basically get 100% proc chance on it, but from Calypso, it seems to not really proc. Can anyone confirm if the weapon procs almost every shot, or does it not proc that often? Thanks.

The Boar Prime is my main weapon, so I'm speaking from experience here.

 

It does proc on every shot, but because of the nature of status chance you get a lot of "trash" procs. In my experience, it helps to build it for as few elements as you can. Any more than two will spread the chance out too thin.

Yea, if you want a specific proc build for fewer elements, stack more corrosive if you want that, viral more for that, etc.
