tcooc
I noticed that almost every hotfix claiming to "optimize" Windows XP has hurt performance and/or quality on my system. There are 5-10 second freezes whenever new enemies and syndicates are loaded. Changing my loadout causes the screen to freeze for 20 seconds. And now my login screen is basically showing a black background... Dear whoever is trying to get Warframe to work on XP, PLEASE stop compromising the quality of Warframe on decent machines so it can run on an obsolete system. Please undo all these game-breaking performance changes and have a special build/setting for XP systems.
Letter13
Considering hardware fragmentation plays an enormous factor in individuals' performance. Also there's the fact that the majority of Windows XP systems could not even start the game when U15 rolled out, and now they can. You should contact support and send in your dxdiag.txt, launcher.log and EE.log files so that support staff can diagnose why Warframe is acting the way it's acting on your system. As for a temp fix why not ask support for help? they might be able to help you with game performance.
