Opticor In Dark Sector Pvp

Is it just me or is that gun extremely effective in conclave and dark sector PVP?

 

I mean I actually managed to get some kills without using a valkr or rhino super invincibilty builds to win x)

I would say it is probably a bit powerful in solar rail conflicts but not in conclave. There are to many parkour routes and people move to fast for it to be overpowered in conclave.

Perfect snipers tool. Downs most people in the first shot. I have multi shot and such and it wreckts people. Last time i played a rail defence I stopped the poor guys on B of the first area. They barely managed to get us to the second 2 after finally taking that first Bravo from me. But they only had 2 waves of reinforments left naturally they lost soon after that. With the charge time it takes though. Its more then fair if your hit by it

Edit: My solution is to put on my rhino suit and activate iron skin. It absorbs 1 hit - pretty much a free life.

Then again, under some conditions, the beam cannot be seen at all (I think it might be partially to do with host connection strength, and partially with the energy colour used).
