Letter13 Posted December 7, 2014 Share Posted December 7, 2014 As long as you have the physical card and receipt you don't have to worry about the store not activating the card (Sony can do it from their end if you have the receipt) and you can always go back to said store. You can also register PSN codes on the mobile version of the Playstation store, so you can do it from a smartphone even (it only takes about 5 minutes for the code to be activated after you buy the card). And there are no such things as "PSN Generators", none that work anyway. The codes are completely random, but cannot be used until an activation code is sent to Sony from the store you bought the PSN code from. Until the activation message is sent to Sony, it's in invalid code (the code will still register as PSN credit if it isn't activated, however you'll receive a notification that the code wasn't activated by the retailer).
