I still cant believe no one at DE saw that and said "You know what, blocking half the players view really isn't a smart move UI team...". Anyway, +1. His popups serve next to no purpose and are frequently blocking what I am trying to look at, not to mention the annoying nature of most of his remarks. As an aside, it might be worth leaving them on if we could actually change the AI in our ship. Not everyone likes a whining "damaged" AI that we are unable to repair.
