I think the event is based on Fusion MOAs being destroyed. Not Corpus missions being finished. It does track kills from all players though. I cleared the "Download Cache" and have to redownload 1213 MB at 80 KB... because it didn't work... it got stuck shortly before the end on "downloading new content"...
