Meneliki Posted January 26, 2015 Share Posted January 26, 2015 SPEARS Introduction One class of weapon Warframe could benefit from(imo) is the spear! We can slash, we can smash, we can poke with daggers and a few puncture swords.. but what we really need to be able to do is viciously IMPALE! =) To that end, I present to you the Tenno forged Zatu, which does just that! It's sharp, it's pointy, and it's just dying to be buried into some unfortunate grineer's face! Mechanics The spears would do mostly lunge attacks when used as the quick-attack but when used in stance mode they would combine thrusting attacks with wide sweeps, martial arts moves such as kicks, and vicious leaping finishers. When the melee button is held down, the Zatu could be thrown to impale multiple targets after which it would re-materialize in the Tenno's hand(at a speed which could be governed by the "Quick Return" mod). The spears could use the new Stinging Scorpion stance: Here's a sample of a possible combo that could be performed with the Stinging Scorpion stance - it's a lunge attack, followed by a blunt smash with the other end of the spear, followed by a kick and ended with a deadly leap-stab: Thanks for reading!
