Ash ripped the bloody remains of an engineer from the robot and took the seat opening fire at the grineer general, Avoiding the bullets he grabbed the broken mecha near him and swung it around throwing it at the tenno. Leaping out of the seat, he avoided a head on collision only to find himself in the shooting range of the remaining soldiers on the surface who were shooting down at them. Shard ran up the wall to the side shooting arrows at the machine enhanced soldier, who was shrugging them off like pellets. with his mechanized leg he pulled the nearest stone out of the ground with a kick and punched it in her direction. The red tenno could only avoid it by sliding down the cliff. Once back at the base she was confronted by the general charging forward as he leaped from place, before he could reach her, Volt began shooting the decimated mechas arm aimed at the grineer. He quickly sled to a halt and pulled the nearest rock out of the ground throwing it at him. As the tenno escaped the stone landed right on top of the machine crushing it. As the grineer leader focused his attention back on the female tenno she was escaping the pit, without any rush he punched the wall knocking her back down, Shard landed several feet behind him. The general grinned as he pulled back his arm revealing it as it took the shape of a blade before their eyes. Suddenly a shock came over his body as a blade stuck through his chest. It was Ash standing behind him uncloaking as he held the blade piercing the grinners body.

 

Ash pulled the blade back out as he jumped back readying for another blow. The enemy swung the giant arm shaped like a blade attempting to slice him but as it passed through his body he realized that the tenno wasn't there. A small disk was on the ground forming a hologram, the footage stood up normally and sheathed its blade as it disappeared. When he turned around the red tenno was also gone, she escaped to the surface together with the professor and Ash, Behind him stood only Volt with a pistol in his hand.

 

"Don't think that this is over tenno, you filth will be burnt from the surface of the galaxy soon enough!!!"

 

"I dont think so."

 

Volt pulled the trigger shooting the bullet out of his gun that flew straight at the generals face, before it could hit him, the arm formed a small shield around his face from the small pieces and caught the bullet. During that moment the grineer leaped forth rushing at the tenno and grabbing him by the neck with the mechanized arm.

 

"Once I'm done with you, I'll crawl out of here and bring back all your friends making a nice fence of your bones."

 

Volt gripped his hand trying to pull out of his grip.

 

"Yeah, good luck with that."

 

A stream of electricity began running down his spine seeping around the arms and coursing into the grinner. The shock began to short circuit his android pieces and burn his body.

 

"If you ever get out of here."

 

As the grip loosened Volt took his leave to the surface where the others were holding off the grinner soldiers. Ash gestured at them to follow him, as they made their way through the campsite they soon found a hanger with several dessert flyers, hijacking a few of them the team made their escape heading back to the meeting site.

 

The grinners descended to the mining pit to help the general, as they were aiding him up there was another tremor and a loud noise coming from within the mines. A few soldiers approached the cave to investigate but as soon as they saw red eyes from within they began opening fire. The beasts from the Orikin compound began breaking out, The soldiers began demanding back up, One of the troopers rushed to the radio station to find everyone dead and began transmitting a distress call, but no one was answering. When he looked at the wiring he noticed a transmitter wired into it, that had began shinning in a red light.

 

"S#&$"

 

He muttered as the signal was transmitted to the only remaining cart from the train, left behind, the one that held the explosives. The tennos were several miles away from the digsite when they heard the explosion and could see the sky light up.

Approaching the outpost where Vauban was stationed with the snipertron he was talking with Rhino and and Sting behind the rocks. They seemed concerned as the team approached them slowing down the desert speeders, the group approached them as the trapper asked the blue tenno what happened there.

 

"What did you do, after the last train returned there's been an uproar at the colony, the citizens have rebelled."

 

"We took out the mining operation and got rid of the general."

 

"We need to help them, they'll get slaughtered!"

 

Shard intervened in the conversation.

 

"Who is she?"

 

"This is Shard and she's the professors body guard."

 

Rhino took a few seconds observing them, before pulling the blue tenno to the side.

 

"Volt, she looks just like..."

 

"I know, but Sher died in that mission, there's no way it could be her."

 

After a few minuets of whispering to each other the two tennos returned to the group and planned an attack on the city.

 

"We can't wait for Njord any longer, we need to liberate the colony tonight."

 

After agreeing to the attack plan the tenno forces gathered into groups, Ash remained behind due to his wounds and protected the professor down in the caves. Sting and Excalibur were to take the city straight on crossing over the wall, while Vauban and Saryn would take the southern entrance after the others had distracted the enemy, Volt and Rhino would come through the northern gate with Shard dealing with the guards.

Standing before the great walls of the colony the two tennos that were charged with the head on approach of crossing the wall could hear the gunfire within the city and the screams of the citizens inside. Excalibur gazed at the tall stone structure before him, blocking his reach from the devastation inside, he could not wait to sink his blade into the bodies of the empire's soldiers. Sting stepped next to him looking closely at the wall before them.

 

"Need a hand samurai?"

 

"Don't kid yourself boy."

 

Excalibur answered as he crouched reaching for the sand with a bursting shock wave surrounding him he flew to the air in a streak of light landing in a stride on the wall and rushing forward to the top. Sting chuckled as he bent his knees the two cases on the side of his legs opened wider shooting him upward like a cannon. Flying without stop over the wall he could see the fire in the streets as the marines were pushing back rebels with assault riffles. Landing on the roof of the building beyond the wall there was a loud bang from Excalibur's fall as he slammed down on the roof nearby.

 

"I guess we're the first to get in here."

 

"Then lets hurry up and thin out their ranks."

 

The two tennos pulled out their blasters shooting for the communication towers that were stationed in that end of the colony. Without any method to call for back up the two were free to slaughter the abandoned soldiers.

 

Volt spent some time facing few guards that were still stationed on the gate, after a quick slice through them they could easily make their entrance. While they were fighting Shard hacked the controls opening the giant gate. Once inside they found the remaining engineers arming up in the machas preparing to take back the city. The large group consisted of twelve robots, three tanks and some hover crafts that were just aiming for the market where the rebels had held their first attack. Shard was the first to fire an arrow aimed for the hover crafts pilot who was quickly shot down through an opened door. The craft fell down exploding and collapsing the barracks nearby. While the remaining forces were forced to maneuver around to get a proper aim on the tennos, Rhino charged forth slamming the first tank to the side as it knocked back one of the mechas. The red tenno rushed away avoiding the confrontation and taking to hire grounds, while Volt followed the robust tenno into battle. After knocking the tank aside Rhino prepared to through his friend as he landed on his arm, after the leaping jump propelled by him the blue tenno flipped over the second hovercraft as one of the engineers tried to shoot him down. By hitting the propeller of the craft the engineer quickly responded yelling.

 

"Don't aim at your own, you rookie."

 

The hover craft quickly fell slamming atop of the second tank and exploding with the engineers inside. Shard aimed for the power sources on the back of the mechas quickly short circuiting three of them. As Volt landed on the roof of one of the machines he quickly drew the gun blasting the engineers before they could eject from the pods completely. Rhino pulled out his axe charging the nearest mecha chopping its legs off as he avoided fire. After the three engineers were gunned down, Volt slammed his hand on the roof of the robot he was standing on and fried its circuits with the pilot inside. Shard began gunning down the last hover craft as it was causing her difficulty's with aim, constantly keeping fire on her. Rhino was busy cutting down the mechas when the last tank began opening fire on him, after hiding behind the robots leg he pulled out the Hek shot gun that he kept from the last mission and swung around the leg opening fire, first target was the battery of the damaged mecha he hid behind and then the hover crafts propellers blasting the thing down crashing into a robot at the side of the wall. Volt leaped from the machines he destroyed with his energy charge and landed on the tank gripping its lid as he began to break it open with his blades, after witch grabbing the engineer and throwing him into the air where he was quickly pierced by Shards arrow pinning him to the windscreen of a hover craft and blocking the sights. Volt jumped to the seat and began emptying the cannon upon the remaining mechas as Rhino threw a grenade into the hovering machine right into the cockpit where the pilot was, filled with shock he quickly jumped out of his eat and through the door falling to the ground bellow. Leaving the flying craft to crash into the nearest street where a group of soldiers were arriving to their aid. As the engineer looked up he was quickly met with a blow from Rhinos axe. Once the enemies were all dealt with the group gathered to make their way for the market squire where they hopped to put an end to this blood shed.

 

"Just like old times Volt."

 

Rhino muttered as they walked passed the flaming wreckage of what used to be the engineer outpost in the city.

While the others were busy distracting the enemy Vauban and Saryn made their way up the wall near the southern gate. once they reached the top the tenno with the sniper gun took aim from the wall searching for any targets in the streets, along them he quickly found several rebel forces pinned by the advancing marines. With a few flicks of the trigger the front gunners were shot down from the roofs, and with the last shot piercing three soldiers the rebels had a perfect timing to strike back. While Vauban was busy with the gun shooting the soldiers in the streets, Saryn was met with a different task keeping him away from the enemy's reach as they rushed the wall to take them down. Being forced back to the side of the wall she kicked the two blade wielders aside knocking one over the edge as she shot her gun at the soldiers with blasters farther away, a green cloud exploded around them as they began to feel ill and cough, She then proceeded to knock the remaining melee attackers off the wall while shooting at the armed soldiers behind, gracefully she moved as though performing a dance as the soldiers fell one by one. After knocking the last one down from the wall she turned to Ban who aimed the gun at her pulling the trigger, the blast grazed her helm as it sank deep into the helm of a cloaked enemy. Forcing him to regain visibility, the tenno tossed the sniper gun on to his back and proceeded along the wall.

 

"Nice performance."

 

Saryn chuckled commenting "I aim to please" as they continued along the wall to the tower ahead. While they continued along the top of the wall, down in the streets, the two tennos that crossed the wall were slicing down the enemy troops in their district as the rebels supported them with gun fire. Excalibur gripped his blade tightly as he shot forth slicing six of the gunners hiding behind the crates, they fell to the ground quickly sliced into bits while Sting continued jumping around like a circuit stabbing them all with the twin blades at his side. After several kills he leaped as high as he could into the air and changed to his guns shooting down the marines hiding in higher altitudes before they could get a proper aim on the rebels. Whilst up there he noticed a second group of rebels under fire from the empire. Once landed he rushed to Excalibur's location.

 

"Will you handle it here?"

 

"Yeah, I'll catch up."

 

After the quick exchange of words Sting jumped to the roofs flying away with his leg strength to the second group. Managing to land in a blind spot of the enemy he quickly shot down the back lines as he leaped to the battlefield above the grineer soldiers, releasing a rain of blade like spikes pinning them all down and killing them as well. after landing he quickly sliced down the remaining forces aiding the rebels in the process.

 

Excalibur was slowly being forced back to the middle of the battle field where the rebels were stationed, they only had one way to escape.

 

"Take your people and run, I'll deal with the marines."

 

The rebels accepted the gratuitous offer and left the fight to him, even though the odds were not favorable. Excalibur was ready to die there when he felt the burst of energy overcoming his body. He could only hope to take out as many of them as possible before the war was over. Gripping his blade and holding it horizontally along his eyes he could see the blood smeared edge soaked in the empires blood. As the grineers opened fire upon him he jumped forth slicing through them as he could only see the corpses fall behind him. Soon jumping into another straight line slicing through them and another and another till nothing blood soaked sands remained under the bodies. He only realized the bullet wounds in his side and shoulder once the enemy forces all lied there lifeless and cold upon the ground, The pain in his side was burning as he gazed at the scene around him he noticed the red message in his helm "Limit breach", what was this strange error and why was he able to survive such odds. Sting quickly returned to his side to find an ocean of blood left from the grinner forces that occupied this section of the city.

 

"Are you ok?"

 

"Yes, I think so."

 

Sting was astonished by the amount of corpses surrounding them.

 

"It seems these were all the soldiers in the area, we should head over to meet up with the others."

 

"You go, I'll catch up."

 

Sting nodded leaving the area of the city to meet up with the others at the squire where they were hopping to end this war. Saryn and Vauban broke through the light defenses of the tower along the wall, since the remaining forces were all mobilized to deal with the rebels and the other tennos. Ban quickly set up a sniping location from where he could see the market and the remaining sections of the city. From there he saw the empire soldiers bring something huge inside the container to the market, it was clear that this wasn't something meant for a little mining colony.

Through his guns sights, Vauban observed the engineers preparing something in the Market square, he couldn't see what it was, once they were ready to move it out a humming noise came from the side as Ban pulled back to look a Gunship was taking aim at them and with the first bullets hitting the wall, he ducked for cover yelling to his comrade to take for the nearest cover. With the barrage of bullets hitting the wall, it broke the glass and began covering the command rooms walls in bullet holes and dents as it continued firing. Ban counted every shot bullet while the elevator began to approach their location.

 

"Ban, we have guests!!!"

 

Without responding he continued counting the shots.

 

"46, 45 ,44, 43..."

 

 

The doors began to open as a squad of gunners and chainsaw wielding grinners barged in, Saryn was forced out of her cover and left in plain sight of the gunners, ship and saw wielders. Ban opened his eyes and jumped out of cover with the number 40 in his mind, as soon as he took his stand turning forty degrees from his sights. Pulling the trigger released a shot that shattered the gunships glass and slowly sank into the pilots face as he noticed blood running down his eye, as he touched a warm fluid upon his face. Pulling his hand away, he noticed the dark blood upon the brown leather covering his hand. Turning his head with trembling arms he saw the splatter upon the back of the seat where he could clearly see the bone fragments and remains of his own brain. The dark fluid covered his eyes as he began to lose consciousness the gunship drifted away and crashed into the wall.

 

Saryn gripped the grinner blade wielder by his neck when he charged her, while holding him a second one attacked as he tried slamming her, Saryn raised her leg pushing the chain blade away and pinning it in to the ground, With a quick kick she knocked him away pulling the blade out of his hand, as the gunners opened fire upon her, The female tenno leaped out of her place avoiding the shots leaving a figure behind herself that seemed pale and as the bullets sinked into the replica of Saryn it scattered and released a green smog that began to enveloped the hall and began to eat the armor and skin of the soldiers. Saryn landed after a back flip in front of the elevator and pulled the guns out in mid flight. Shooting their heads off, as the splaters covered the metal box with them inside. As soon as the grinners were all killed the two returned to the control room where they were quickly interrupted by the elevator where a loud banging noise rose from beneath the metal box. Vauban smashed the controls of the tower and jammed a small tube into the hole. Pushing his gun onto his shoulder he rushed back to Saryn.

 

"Come one we gotta go!!!"

 

With a quick turn he rushed towards the controls leaping out through the broken glass, with Saryn in pursuit.  The two used a special cloth underneath their arms by pulling it out and gliding to the center of the city. Inside the tower where they were a strong brute force broke from beneath the elevator and a machine piloted by the grinners rose to the tower. The engineer inside observed the room to find them gone, as the bomb detonated the blast shattered the walls causing a cave in upon the machine and burying it in the tower as the tennos escaped.

Threading their way along the rooftops Saryn and Vauban made their way to the market where the others would meet up, Along the path they noticed Spike flying through the city, as he was closing in to the center Ban halted to get a look around.

 

"Wheres Excalibur!?"

 

"I can't see him."

 

After a good look around they could only see the rebels fighting off the grineer forces in the streets blazing in flames. The streets told the tales of the men who took their guns and fought back leaning against the walls and shooting the oppressionistic soldiers in the streets, with the foes aim and bullets piercing walls and murdering the citizens who fought for their homes and family's. As they fell others stepped to the front taking the weapons from the hands of the fallen friends. As the men and women stepped to the blood soaked streets fighting, Excalibur's presence was nowhere to be seen. Ban turned to Saryn and spoke.

 

"Go, meet up with the others, I'll return to check on Excalibur."

 

She nodded and left him behind following Sting to the squire while Vauban followed the path back to where Excalibur and Sting entered the city. While Saryn quickly met up with Sting who was just landing from his last leap. The two quickly rushed to meet up with Volt and the others who were already close at the meeting point.

 

Volt quickly entered the squire where he was pushed to cover by gunfire spreading from the markets other corner. Within it he could see a massive machinery standing there and shooting at the other perpetrator. The rebels were fighting back the grineer machinery that the last engineers were piloting. Whilst the soldiers surrounded the edge of the market where the rebels stood their ground. Volt could see behind the corner that the rebels firing upon the soldiers were the children that he with Ash met before. The soldiers opened fire injuring the pinned children who could only hold them back for a short while. As the bullets blazed through the wall and pierced the bodies of the children.

 

Rhino stretched his muscles covering himself in a glow of silver like metal as he charged forth into the squire, where he pulled his axe attacking the soldiers nearest to him. Shard took to the roof shooting arrows at the marines in the market. Volt pulled his pistols blasting at the wiring of the machinery. The grineers quickly turned their attention to the tennos who were taking them down one by one. As the weapons fell from the soldiers hands the engineers began firing the guns upon the tennos in the squire. Rhino rushed the machine as he pushed it back, the mecha smashed the ground pushing him aside. Volt and Shard quickly made short work of the soldiers and took to the large tennos aid.

The giant machines plating were thicker and stronger then those before it, Volts guns were barely denting its legs, while Shard tried piercing the glass of the control pod but even that was strengthened by polymeric titanium rods the size of a hair. As the mecha slammed down with its arm shaking the ground around it the dust broke free from the walls. Shard was thrown off balance, as she fell to the ground from the roof, the engineer inside the machine pointed his other hand at the tenno knocked down from the roof and was preparing to open fire with a large machine gun.Shooting the first bullets at the red female on the ground. A streak of light rushed by before the bullets pulling the tenno aside before the fire hit her. The engineer followed the path as he decimated the market with the gunfire. Rhino regained his balance standing back up from a ruble of a wall that he crashed into from the knock from the machine. The few remaining soldiers hiding behind the corners and stalls, were still firing at the two tennos, as Volt carried Shard away from the line of fire. The slow moving mecha had trouble following the quick soldiers as they could avoid its sights, the speed was well balanced with the machines resilience to enemy attacks. Rhino gripped his axe and with a loud yell charged forth knocking the grineer soldiers out of cover and slamming into the armor suit piloted by the engineer, he knocked it with such force that the machine was knocked off balance and lost its aim lifting the arm and shooting a barrage of bullets at a nearby tower causing an explosion cause of gas canisters stored within it.

 

Saryn and Sting quickly arrived to their aid to find Volt with shard shooting down remaining soldiers from across the market as Rhino was still trying to force the machine to the ground. The force he was exerting upon the mecha was slowly pushing it along the ground till the pilot managed to regain balance and quickly knocked him aside once more. This time Rhino was thrown across several stalls into the corner where the kids were, crashing through a wall. As the machine regained its ground the guns were preparing to open fire upon the tennos once more. The remaining few soldiers flanked the machine following it in an onslaught against the opposing forces. As the last bullet from Volt hit a grineer marine in the shoulder before the tennos took for cover, a loud gunfire came from behind them, the shot hit the mecha in the power cabals slightly malfunctioning its fire mechanism as it jammed before coming back online. During that time a barrage of shots came from behind shooting down the remaining marines. As the engineer pilot turned to see what was behind them. There stood Rhino with a Hek shotgun blasting at the cabals he could see, from behind the corner were few survivors from the gang of orphans shooting at the grineer soldiers. Throwing the gun aside as he lost view of the wires Rhino attempted one last charge. He slammed into the armor suit knocking it to its knees, Saryn and Sting could see a group of marines rushing to the squire as reinforcements.

 

"Go help them, I'll deal with the grineers."

 

Saryn said as she rushed off to stop them, Sting took to the squire to aid Rhino with the mecha. Volt and Shard were quickly flanked by another group of soldiers rushing for the market. Volt took the lead rushing forth with his blades as he sliced the rifle of a marine before kicking him aside and continuing to slice away the rest of them. SHard was slowly running out of arrows as she only had three remaining, after shooting the soldier that was knocked away by her team mate she could only aim for the ones pushed aside and was forced to find an alternative method of dealing with them. While looking around she noticed several electricity cabals upon the roofs of the buildings. Aiming for them she was knocked off balance when one of the marines shot her in the leg, the armor absorbed most of it but the kinetic fore was enough to make her miss. Sucking it up she pulled the string of the bow with the last arrow in it as she released, the string. The spear shaped object jetted past Volts helm as it flew through some splattered blood in the air and finally sliced the wire apart. The cabal fell upon the marines sending out a bolt of electricity frying a group of them as they touched each other shoving out of the way. Even Volt was effected by the jolt as he was in the midst of the fight. After the shocking experience he turned to her ans asked.

 

"Was that really necessary?"

 

"It's not like it would have killed you."

 

"Yeah, but a friendly heads up would be nice."

 

Saryn jumped from the rooftops landing amongst the soldiers as she shed her skin leaving a replacement while flipping over the soldiers and knocking one of them into the copy. The marines were all caught in a cloud of gas that began to decay their suits, pulling her guns she opened fire upon them piercing through their bodies and pinning them down. The few remaining ones that survived this attack were rushing her from behind as she knocked a chain blade wielder aside and pinning his saw into the wall. Saryn used him as a shield whilst firing upon the others. With no regard for their ally the marines shot back at her killing him in the process. Once the remaining soldiers were all dead the tenno rushed back to the market to meet up with the others.

In the market Sting and Rhino were battling the engineer piloting the giant robot, the few cut wires on its back depleted its power to the guns preventing a large barrage of bullets from its gunners. Rhino continued bashing from the ground, while Sting kept the pilots attention on himself damaging its connections to the power storage unit. While leaping over its head. The pilot swung his arm swatting the tenno aside with the large machines hand. Once the pesky hopper was out of sight the pilot pulled the two arms up slamming down upon the other tenno. Blocking it with his axe, Rhino was bashed into the ground creating a crater around his feet as he struggled to fight back. Standing on one knee he could only withhold the mechas power before the pilot pulled back one of the arms and swung again. Rhino chose then and there to swing back and slammed his fist straight into the ground pushing the hand holding him pinned away and swinging the axe against the incoming punch. Closing his eyes he was prepared for the worst, but without the feel of the hit and the pain he opened one eye to look. The mechas arm was cleaved clean off as he  pushed the axe away, he could see on the screen inside his helm flashing the words "Limit breach" the message kept appearing in smaller shrift as Rhino began to blindly attack back at the machine, slicing its second hand off. With a running start he slammed the armor suit aside as the pilot began to panic, he pulled the legs up and attempted to stomp the tenno into the ground. But Rhino threw his axe away and gripped the leg pushing the machine back and forcing it off balance he pushed it into the nearest building as it crashed into the ruble.

 

The others returned to the market just in time to see him wrestle with the robot, after knocking it down he leaped to the axe gripping its handle and climbing to the pilots seat inside the machine, Sting was just returning as he climbed out of some ruble. Rhino slammed the axe against the metal plating ripping it off the machine and exposing the pilot inside, the others could only observe as he pulled back the axe while a shreaking scream came from the cockpit as he thrusted it down, forcing the entire machine to jolt as a spur of blood shot out of it. Wiping his helm the large tenno calmed down and sat at the side of the downed robot catching his breath. Volt sent the others to aid the kids and if possible for Saryn to save their lives. He himself went to talk with the bulky suited axeman.

 

"You ok?"

 

"Great to be honest, but I'm a bit shocked myself."

 

"Mind telling me what happened."

 

"It was just this strange overflow of energy and an error saying..."

 

"Limit Breach?"

 

Volt interrupted him as Rhino turned looking up.

 

"Yeah, you know anything about it?"

 

"We'll speak to the professor about this when we get back."

 

While they were talking the others went to see the kids who were still bleeding and in shock. They held their guns up against them warning the tennos to stay back, it wasn't till Shard removed her helmet that they lowered their weapons. She explained that the others were her friends and came to help. Saryn helped stop the bleeding to most of them but after examining their condition she quickly went back to Volt.

 

"We have a problem."

 

"How bad is it?"

 

"Two of them might need a blood transfer, one will need to get the leg cut off and three of them aren't gonna make it."

 

"Where are the hospitals in this city, we'll drop them off there."

 

"We can't the only clinic in this whole colony is under direct control of the grineers, if its still under their protection there's gonna be a massive fire fight outside it."

 

"Then we'll just end this battle, without any barracks, engineers or command they're already at a disadvantage, we need to take the hospital before leaving, unless we can risk the deaths of more people cause of some outbreak."

 

"We need to hurry then, if the Grineer find out their losing the fight they wont think twice of releasing a plague."

 

After a short discussion Saryn and Volt rushed off to the clinic where the remaining forces of the grineers were barricaded in. Sting took to the high grounds searching for more marines that would have survived.

 

During that time, Vauban finally arrived at the entrance point where Sting and Excalibur fought the marines. Surveying the blood soaked site he searched for any leads to Excalibur's location while looking for him he noticed a helicarier fly off as it dove out of the city and into the far reaches of the dessert. Ban activated the transmitter search sequence in his suit that would reveal allies during operations, after locating his signal Ban followed it along the street guided by a blood trail as he reached a warehouse where he found a small round data module.

Avoiding the streets the two tennos rushed along the roofs leaping from one building to the next as they approached the remaining battlefield in the city. The gunshots were flying even above the roofs as they avoided the projectiles raining upon them. Once they reached the squire where the entrance to the clinic was the grineers were barricaded behind the hospital walls as they continued firing upon the rebels who were pushing the dead cars closer as they fired back at the door and windows hopping to hit the marines. The two of them saw the grineers shoot the citizens down one by one as they tried reaching the barricade, the entrance was well guarded with several turrets built on the second floor and one behind the door. The shredded trucks and cars were lacing the field in iron shards as it splattered back. Blood was soaking the sand behind the front lines on both sides. The sight beneath them resembled a war from all those years ago, Volt remembered his brother and friends as they suffered through those three months, as his family died at the colony, the only home they ever had. Saryn was shocked that this city takeover turned out completely different then they planed, the countless dead in the streets, the price of such victory's never come free of charge, and sometimes the cost might be too much to bare. Volt shook his head waking himself from this lucid dream that seemed to eat him from within. After tapping Saryn on the shoulder he rushed over around the field beneath them and to the nearest walls of the hospital.

 

From there he could see a broken corner of the wall that was collapsed from a grenade thrown by the rebels, probably used a catapult hoping for some more damage to be dealt. Setting his sights straight he rushed along the wall leaping to the hole where he found himself landing in the midst of a few scientists gathering the remains of their research. It took only a few hits to knock them out without much effort. Saryn didn't stay behind for long as she soon landed next to him as Volt gripped the hand of the scientist and slammed him into the wall knocking him out.

 

Hurrying to the halls they ran into a few marines carrying bullet cases for the turrets that were armed by the other soldiers. Saryn pushed the blue tenno out of her way as she leaped over the first grineer gripping his head as she span in the air breaking his neck and landing with her legs upon the other ones shoulders as she swung underneath him slamming his head into the ground breaking his spine.Volt was distracted by the voice of another soldier attacking them from the other end of the hall with a chain blade, pulling his gun he pulled the trigger as the marines head was placed against the gun, the blast splattered the head shooting out brains over the walls, exchanging his gun for the blades he rushed down the hall to where the turrets were stabbing the gunner in the back as he was firing upon the rebels. Volt gripped the controls of the gun and began shooting it at the wall along the windows breaking down the wall as he shredded the grineer with the barrage of bullets. In such he continued firing till there wasn't any ammo left, jumping away from the gun he rushed to the stairs leading to the second floor. down bellow were several commanders with heavy weaponry and armor as the tenno jumped down the stairs slamming one of them to the ground as he released a pulse of lightning through the body killing him. Volt jumped swinging his blade as he slashed the nearest soldiers head off, the second commando saw a chance and shot at his back knocking him away.

 

Saryn took a different rout as she descended to the other side of the building hunting scientists who were responsible for the biochemical research, She found herself in the labs where several soldiers were pulling capsules from the cabinets and preparing to release a bio weapon upon the planet as they would fight to their death defending this last outpost. The group was lead by a Grineer in white armor and a strange attachment from the elbow of his hand that seemed to be for lab work only. He turned around at the sound of the tennos entrance, with a slight shocked expression he ordered the others to attack her while he himself took the metal casing and left the room. The four soldiers inside the room pulled out their guns and began opening fire upon her, Saryn ran to the side of the room and kicked the table at the two soldiers ahead of it as she herself jumped over the gunfire pulling something from her sleeves, She landed behind them slicing their necks as she turned to the two knocked back by the table, throwing two knifes at their heads Saryn continued further after the white marine. Rushing through several rooms she found him running through the hall, trying to insert the capsule into the bomb. He turned around as he finally locked it in place holding it above his head. He laughed as the grineer opened his eyes Saryn was jumping at him as she landed on his chest slicing the neck artery's with her throwing knifes the tenno kicked him back as she sled along the ground catching the explosive. The grinner gripped his throat trying to stop the blood but the device upon his hand was only a hindrance as he jammed a set of pliers from them into his own head. Saryn began defusing the bomb.

 

Volt brushed away the pain as he pulled his blades back jumping backwards over the commanding officer and slicing his back, with a spur of blood from the marine the tenno gripped the gun and began firing upon the remaining soldiers as he aimed along the way he knocked several of them back through the doors as he could see the shotguns shrapnel pierce their armor and spread to the ones behind him, after killing the remaining soldiers he dropped the gun and rushed forth where he saw the grinner gunners aiming down the hall at him. Volt was at a crossfire as the two gunman began to fire, quickly dodging the bullets by running up the wall and leaping back he allowed the gunners to shoot at each other killing them self in the process. Volt rushed down the stairs to where the last gunner was to find him trying to unjam the turret, as he realized there was no more fire from the other turrets he turned around to see the two blades slice his head in an X formation. with this all the grineers were dealt with and the bio weapon was all that there was left.

 

While Volt was a bit more relaxed he was quickly brought back from to stress as a large explosion came from behind the building. Running through the hall he reached the other end of the structure where a small crater stood near the colonies wall.

 

"Worried?"

 

Volt turned  around to the voice to see Saryn siting atop a crate with a capsule in her hands.

 

"I thought you failed."

 

"I couldn't stop the bomb, but at least I got the container out of it, I don't think we should leave it in the hospital though."

 

"Ok, take it back to the ship, we'll deal with it later, I'll call the others to get the kids over here. After that were all leaving the city, no one needs to know we were ever here."

 

Volt made the call as Saryn placed the small container in her casing before leaving the area to where they were meant to meet up, Volt told everyone to abandon the city as the Grineer threat was no longer present, Shard and the others took the children to the hospital leaving them in the first aid room where they were later treated by the rebels. Once outside of the city the team slowly began to regroup before returning to the ships.

 

"Sting, wheres Excalibur?"

 

"He stayed behind after the assault in the entrance point. He should be coming back though."

 

Vauban approached Volt as he pulled him aside to show the small disk he found. They both talked for a bit before pulling everyone back to the ships where the professor was, Ash was already preparing the flight sequence as soon as the others arrived the tennos took their leave from the planet heading back to the vessel where they would regroup with the others.

 

Along their approach back to the main ship a transmission came in from the team aboard.

 

"Volt, can you hear me, This is Ember can you hear me!?"

 

"This is Volt what happened?"

 

"Its Void. He stole one of the ships and abandoned the team."

 

"Damn it, where is he?"

 

"He already jumped, but that's not all..."

The two teams arrived back at the hanger only to be shocked by the sight greeting them within. The crew were gathering containers with corpses carrying them from the halls. Volt recognized one of the bodies as he stepped out of the ship, it was the doctor that took care of Rhino during his stasis phase. The doctor was sliced in half from head to legs as the tarf covered only half of his body.

 

"What the heck happened!?"

 

He screamed as the others stepped out, Saryn felt a tad sick to see such a sight on the ally vessel. The crew was preparing to send off the dead team mates as they prepared a small vessel destined for the sun. Any contaminants upon their bodies could have doomed any planet, there fore it was the only acceptable option. Vauban was confused as he couldn't tell if the ship was attacked or if there was a massive malfunction. While everyone survad the scene Ember quickly rushed to the hanger to see them.

 

"Everyone we need to gather in the meeting room immediately!"

 

She screamed, as everyone moved to the inside of the ship Ember looked around searching for Excalibur.

 

Once everyone had gathered in the meeting room Orchid was a bit shocked to see how quickly the group had increased in numbers and with the professor at their side the group was  now much larger then they could have expected.

 

"So what happened while we were gone?"

 

"It was Void," Orchid began explaining "He betrayed us, after killing several crew members he assaulted the doctor and broke his way through to the ships and escaped."

 

"Thats not the point!" Loki yelled at her, "He kidnapped Nataly!"

 

The professor turned to Volt and asked.

 

"Who's Nataly?"

 

"A girl we rescued from an infected colony, she was a lone survivor."

 

"Whats so important about this girl?"

 

"She's not a normal survivor, The doctor had a few tests conducted on her blood after we acquired the ship we sit upon now. I didn't wish to share her condition with others as it would only lead to panic, she is a carrier of the infected genom, she is infected."

 

"What!" Nyx screemed

 

"We were actually aboard with an infected carrier!?" Frost added

 

"I see, that was indeed a wise choice as you all can see how unsettling this is, and if the crew would know about this they would most likely rebel."

 

"But why was I unaware of this?" Orchid questioned his decision.

 

"Not all things are best to be known..." the professor said as he sighed gazing at Volt.

 

"Thats not the point, we need to catch him." Loki spoke as he left the room.

 

The meeting was abruptly broken as the entire tenno group was of different opinion upon this matter. Volt Slammed the table silencing everyone as he chased out after the twin horned devil. Outside in the hall he saw Loki calling the captain through the intercom. Gripping his shoulder Volt stopped him.

 

"Don't do this, you saw what that bastard did, and you told me to protect her. She was like a daughter that I had lost so long ago, and now with all this power, even now I'm unable to protect the ones I love."

 

"You can't do this alone, we'll catch him, we'll get her back together. I promise."

 

While they were talking the ship rocked as an explosion came from the room behind them, The hall filled with red lights as an emergency called the crew to the origin of the explosion. Running back to the room they found it covered in flames and Ember standing in the middle of it. She was enraged, Saryn through a cloud of gas at her as Ash knocked her out of her rage, Frost quickly slammed the ground with his fist covering the room in icy cold.

 

"What happened here?" The blue tenno asked returning to the room.

 

The professor was holding his arm up covering Orchid from the flames.

 

"She went crazy after hearing about Excalibur."

 

"I guess that's understandable. Our friend and colleague disappeared without a trace and we will do everything to find him. But for now until we find a trace we need to concentrate upon the matter with Nataly, if her blood spills in a major city we will have a massive infection break out."

 

As the red blazing girl woke up from her rage fit she asked the others.

 

"What is Limit Breach?, I'm sorry I did that but how could you just leave him down there."

 

"Limit Breach?"

 

Everyone looked to the voice, the professor was in shock to here those words.

Within the chaos the old man stepped forth to speak to the few that had this condition erupt in their suits code. Pulling them aside to a separate room they spoke.

 

"Limit Breach - was a system we developed for the frames as we tested it, it became clear that the new creation was too powerful to be used by the tennos as it would destroy the body completely. Once the result was formed and presented to the council we had to make a choice, yet one of the elders attempted to delay the solution, he wanted power over anything else. The old fool didn't care that the ones within the suits would suffer irreparable damage. After he was forced off the council for his perception we were to late to remove the coding completely, so we had only the choice to seal it within the frames coding."

 

"So this seal was broken?" Rhino asked.

 

"Its not that easy, we had to present multiple walls to completely silence the program, yet there was a special case that we discovered soon after. The energy's counter transmission that the suit uses, a polar opposite flow can trigger a system override and force the walls to collapse. Its a very difficult method and we never thought that it would be possible since it requires both dark energy and mater witch are difficult to obtain and not mentioning the correct combination of them, it was simply statistically impossible. Only the test subject Ilues was able to breach the code, but after that he was quickly destroyed by his own suit."

 

"What happened?" Volt asked for details as the professor turned away from them.

 

"He accepted the risks and attempted a solo mission in the far dept of the Ronin systems, we were at war and he took on an entire planet in a final battle with the leader of the 47 Ronin the elites of the empire. His suit breached its code and broke out destroying the entire planet as it was engulfed in an eternal darkness. He defeated the clans but at a cost of his own life. Now you see why we had to seal the systems to stop the program. It was never meant to exist from the beginning if only we could have stopped its implementation sooner. The new models don't have it but you three are probably the only ones that have these ability aboard this ship. Perhaps we can still stop it."

 

"But why would the breach appear within battle."

 

"It depends on strong emotions, stress and anger can trigger it, yet that isn't the case I need to know whether you have been exposed to dark energy."

 

Volt thought for a moment as he remembered to the very beginning.

 

"Anubis, he was coated in dark energy. Our whole team was exposed to it."

 

"Anubis? I don't remember such a model."

 

"He's Lotus's lackey, and he's way too strong for us at this point."

 

"I'll need the footage from your suits to perform an analyzes of this Anubis frame."

 

Returning to the others the conflict in the meeting room was still underway. Orchid turned to Volt who had taken leadership over the group and asked.

 

"So witch should be our main priority: Nataly, Lotus or Excalibur?"

 

"No way, we need to find Njord first." Saryn interrupted fighting for her team mates.

 

"Saryn and Sting why don't you take the ship  and trace back to the last known position of Njord, Vauban will stay with us and help track down Nataly, while we search for clues about Excalibur. Orchid was there any other traffic in this sector aside Void?"

 

"There were three separate jumps to other sectors two were registered Grineer vessels and the third was an unidentified ship that had a cloaking system that blocked our tracking of its destination."

 

"What about Void?"

 

"He left for the Arusian sector."

 

"But there's only dead planets and ships there..." Frost questioned this decision.

 

"And the industrial station of the Grineer empire." Shard added.

 

"But there wont be any way to maneuver the main ship through the wreckage. We can't risk entering the system that close to the station." Loki explained.

 

"We'll take the vessel to the station from bellow while the rest of the crew stays at the outer rim of the system beyond the graveyard." Volt decided as the two chosen for Njord's search left the room. "Oh and Sting Saryn, Stay in constant contact, Vauban will inform you of the meeting place."

Once the plan was set it all began to fall into motion as Saryn and Sting prepared to journey back to the underwater outpost where the others last met Njord. The team graciously provided them with several medical supplies as well as ammo that was growing low in stocks. While Vauban and the others prepared to set the other team off and he had a chat with his teammates, Volt looked closer at the $&*^ he had found before. Whilst watching the other team set off from the second floor of the hanger he spoke with the old man.

 

"What do you think Lotus is planning?"

 

"I dont think shes anything more then a pawn in this game, since there is much more to this tale then it seems."

 

Volt removed his own tracking system and placed the other disk into its place, after a long pause he plucked the small object from his arm and reconnected the older one that was his.

 

"We need to hurry to that station otherwise we might lose Voids trail and Nataly, I hope he wont do something foolish."

 

Within minuets after loading the ship the tennos separated with the two other heading out to find their lost comrade. After the small vessel executed a steler jump to the star system the big ship with the others aboard braced for the trip to the asteroid covered star where Void had escaped to. An outbreak upon such a populated space station would cause irreparable damage to the Grinner empire. Yet aiding such a grave action by ignoring it would go beyond the Tenno code. The infection would spread from the station to the ships traveling beyond the Lustra Veil where the Economical Nation Union lied and would spread beyond swallowing the galaxy. The tennos had the opportunity to face similar situations where the Gene Cult had attempted to spread an altered infection. Void took this time of the journey to return to his room where he hadn't been for half the journey of the rebellion. Since Lotus's betrayal they had only ran from her, yet now with the Professor and the elders they could stop her from breaking the Code and with this new Limit Breach their chances were growing each day they travel through the galaxy.

 

Within his room stood a broken blade that he had lost in the fight, next to it was a staff, still intact and tinted red. Volt closed the door behind him and looked at the computer where he stored several personal files. Flipping through some records from his helm he reached a picture of a Shard tenno staring down at a planet where she saw something depressing. The tenno was leaning against the rail seeming sad. Flipping through several other memories he found a picture of him with Rhino and the Shard tenno leaving a battle scene where a fight against an infected sand Wyrm had took place. Flipping the image he saw a picture taken from a different perspective, where the Volt tenno had been shooting without his helm, Rhino leaped from above slashing the beast and the Shard tenno slamming the end of a crimson staff into the wyrm. Besides it was a picture with the three tennos doing a victory pose. Closing the files he pulled his helm off and gazed at the mirror on the wall, his hair was slowly turning gray as he could see white strands underneath the dark brush upon his head.

 

Once the jump finished the tennos were all signaled to gather in the meeting room. Where the team selection would take place. As Volt pulled his helm back on and walked out through the door gazing back at the staff.

 

"If only it would be true..."

 

The tennos had all gathered in the meeting room as they were discussing the situation. The professor volunteered to work at the med bay till a replacement would be found for the poor doctor. Due to Nyx wounds from the previous mission she took place in the tenno remained with Frost aboard the vessel while Loki demanded to follow Void to the station. Ash left the room refusing to participate in this mission, while the professor also forbade Ember to participate due to the unstable condition of the suit. Rhino was willing to fight yet his capability for stealth missions was inferior to Vauban, who was chosen above the large brown tenno. Choosing to approach the station stealthily they agreed that a small team would be much more effective, as the three tennos prepared to leave the ship. The second vessel was already prepared by the crew that allowed the team to move out immediately after entering the star system. Ember approached Volt to question him.

 

"If you find anything about Excalibur's location, I wanna be the first to know."

 

The blue tenno nodded as he followed the other two into the ship. As the hanger began to seal off Ember took to a secure location as the bay doors opened and the thrusters pushed them out into the asteroid belt. Loki was piloting as he didn't wanna lose a single second falling behind that treacherous scum that betrayed the Order.

Drifting through the steroid mine fields that were surrounding the station like an infinite stream of water bashing at the rocky coast, the tennos came closer to the Grineer economy pillar that orbited the red sun. The solar system was devoid of all other astral bodies as they had long been destroyed by the dying giant. As they neared the bay where the ships commuted through the team dove lover to avoid the security cloaking the ship to remain out of sight. They docked on the lower floors without notice from the guards, hiding they're vessel underneath the darkness of the station. The three tennos breached the entrance through the vents that would pour out the toxic substance in case of emergency's currently they were sealed shut since there were no present danger. By breaching the lock they found a passage around the sealed gate to a maintenance deck where the engineers were hard at work repairing one of the engines that was recently hit by an asteroid. The void of space blocked out all sound as the tennos sneaked by them without notice.

 

The group made their way up to the entrance through witch the engineers would return. After the door opened the two guards farther down the hall turned to look as to who was arriving from the repair team. With the smoke clearing two bullets pierced the cloud slicing deep into their heads, as they crumbled to the ground. Loki aimed his pistol for the two guards but only fired one as the smoke cleared the path to Vauban who was still looking down the barrel of his snipetron.Volt stepped out pinning the two guards to the wall around the hall to make it look like their still waiting. The team moved ahead to the elevator where they made their trip into the lower sections of the station.

 

As the door opened the team was prepared to fight back, yet not even a single soldier was present. They carefully made their way to the shadows of the street, the catwalks were empty as the stretching long bridges were around the engine room. The guards were nowhere in sight, the team took this window to reach the elevator to the streets of the space station. As the doors opened the exchange shift for the guards were inside, six men with rifles were cumming down to patrol the area. As the gates opened the men looked at them pulling their guns, Both Loki and Volt charged in pushing the two front men back upon the others and locking their guns before they could fire, knocking them aside to the walls. Kicking them away the two knocked the guards aside while Vauban pulled the throwing axes from his side. Flinging one he stood there watching as the axe split in mid flight slamming into the chest of two marines and pinning them to the wall of the elevator. Volt slammed his head into the face of the guard he held back and jumped back switching places with the twin horned devil who punched the soldier, pulling their blades as they sliced up the bodies cutting them apart.

 

Once the guards were dealt with the tennos pulled out the bodies and pushed them down upon the engine. The corpses slammed down upon the gears and were crushed to bits by the buzzing engine. As the tennos climbed aboard they looked back at the door, and as they stared though at the engine room Loki slightly tilted his head at Vauban and said.

 

"Nice blade..."

Along their way up the group used the cloaking plates that the crew loaded aboard for them, small disk like tools they placed upon their armor to bend the light around them and shield the tennos from enemy visual detection. The elevator soon arrived to the streets of the station city that were filled with many different races commuting with their business, this place was a giant hub that was held neutral to any alliance and military actions where sales and purchases of literally anything were commenced. When the doors opened the guards posted at the elevator turned to check who was there, as they couldn't see anything the two marines stepped closer to look as the tennos eluded them and escaped to the streets, avoiding contact with any life on the station the team took the top floor for security measures, avoiding detection they used the pillars and catwalks between buildings searching for any traces of Void and the child. The three tennos made their way to the highest building they could find to search the streets from above. While Loki used the detection systems within his suit he scouted the streets in small transmissions to remain undetected to find the runaway rookie. Vauban used the scope of the snipetron to search the highway of any unusual traffic. Volt on the other hand was still shocked at Excalibur disappearance. Down bellow he saw several patrols scouting the streets. They were being given orders from the leading superior, increasing the vibrations locator on his radar he managed to catch the buzz of the sound vibrations from the grinner troops, by altering the vibrations pasterns he found the clear slate of the conversation amongst the patrol.

 

"Under General Vark'sho Rim's command we are to exterminate the traces of the syndicate in the station. Tonight's assault on the Clad Madden in the lower sections of the station."

 

"To bad, that was a nice bar, quit good Niquash there."

 

"Yes, strongest in the station yet the rumor of several members of the syndicate are enough to eliminate such a place after all that Niquash isn't made in the Empire."

 

"Is the general sure he wants to eliminate the black market on the station?"

 

"We're not eliminating, just reminding them who's in charge. After all, 5 Million credits for a shipment is a tad to much."

 

Volt lost the conversation as the patrol got further away, the signal grew weaker and was obstructed by several commuters attempting to purchase frigates for a colony. Volt reduced the frequency and reconfigured his systems back to normal.

 

"Ban, Loki I think I know where Void is."

 

"What, how."

 

"Theres gonna be an attack on a black market dealer and if our renegade wants to disappear, he needs a specialist. Aside from finding a way to get rid of the girl."

 

The trio discussed the plan on the approach of the bar before searching for a mode of transport to it. Lucky for them a careless business man was talking with a client on a communicator far way from the noisy traffic atop the building. The team climbed the tower where he was spotted as the conversation was ending. Vauban pulled out a small pill from his sack and flung it at the man, the pill exploded releasing gas that made the man cough and fall to the ground into a deep slumber. Pulling him into the car the tennos used his vechical to approach on the Clad Madden in the lower regions of the station where the raid was planned to commence.

Taking a direct approach to the lower slums of the station, the tennos landed the vechical several blocks away from the entrance to the slums and traveled ahead on foot leaving the unconscious man in the car. using the shadows to their advantage the three approached the bar where they noticed several groups of armed men guarding the slums.

 

"Guess if you're part of an underground organization you'd prefer to have some guards around your home of business."

 

Volt whispered as they descended down the walls, once they hid in an ally the tennos heard the noise of patrols passing by as the armed guards passed. The three armored figures appeared out of place in such a corner of a city. Luckily there were several rags pilled up near the corner. After wrapping themselves in them and covering their helms the three walked out into the light approaching the bar. Once they were half way there the three cloaked figures were stoped by a group of guards.

 

"Where do you think your going?"

 

"We have some information your leader might find interesting and vital..."

 

Vauban spoke as he slightly raised his head still concealing the helm beneath the cloth.

 

"Yea, right and that would be?"

 

"Your friends the grinners aren't happy, they do plan to show it soon enough."

 

The armed guards paused for a moment as one of them stepped away speaking through the intercom to a voice on the other end. Once the man came back the guards stepped out of their way and allowed them in to the bar. Inside there were several floors with many space pirates and other galactic scum drinking to their hearts content. The tennos were soon called over to the stairs leading up where the important guests were seated. On the second floor there were some pirate captains getting wasted with some females from the street working class. The guards were only surrounding one table where three men were seated.

 

Approaching the table the first guard towering over the others and even the tennos by several feet stopped them as one of the men seated with his back to the wall looked over the others shoulders gazing past the guards.

 

"I think we might reach a conclusion soon, just tell Ravier at the bar what you want and you'll have it delivered before noon, just remember if you don't pay, I wont be sending my men for the cargo, I'll be sending them for your headless bodies am I clear."

 

The two men at the table nodded and stood up walking away, They were both engineers from a Hungh'y fleet, what they were purchasing for their ships, had to be seriously illegal. As the two past the tennos one of them turned back as though he knew the shapes underneath but as soon as he turned his head the man remaining at the table met him with a clod stare. The engineer walked away with a cold expression of fear on his face.

 

"Let them through..."

 

The giant stepped aside allowing the tennos to take a seat. The man before them at the table was old and had a gruesome scar on his face in a shape of a V, it appeared to be left by an infected of some sort as the edge of the wound was crusted over. The man held a glass of some strange reddish green fluid that glowed faintly. The old one had a few bullet wounds in his neck and appeared as though he was met with a shot gun blast to his face some where in his past. The cold eyes, were of a dark brown as one had a strange red line in it.

 

"So what kind of news about the empire might you bring me? I already know that they aren't of the happiest nature when it comes to my prices."

 

"Everything comes with a price, our information for your information."

 

Volt said as he watched the man take a sip from the glowing glass. There was a slight pause as the old man pondered.

 

"And what would you want to know?"

 

"Why does your leader hide when making deals?"

 

Vauban interrupted the man as he was about to utter something else. The guards all pulled their guns aiming for the cloaked figures. The tension rose and room became silent, the few seconds of silence were soon broken by a laugh as a man stood up from his seat with a bottle of gin in his hand, he was seated farther to the side near the stairs, behind the drunk captains. The young man had a tattoo on his arm with the symbol of a woman holding a sword, he had black hair coursing down his shoulder as he walked down and stepped closer to the guards.

 

"Its been a long time since, anyone noticed that, guess poor old Fins getting a tad to scary for the poor sods cumming in. That aside, even your little friend who was here earlier didn't notice the truth even though I was right next to him all that time. So what do tennos want with me then."

 

The man pushed the guards guns down and looked at the old man telling him to calm down as well. Once the look was past and the old one stood up giving over his seat the tennos could see the two robotic attachments from his torso, arms holding a shot gun under the table.

 

"The names Guill, pleasure to meet ya mate. So what can you tell me that you want to trade?"

 

"The grineer intend to attack you this cycle, their men are already on their way, they intend to eradicate you and this building from the station as a lesson for the syndicate."

 

"ohh really?"

 

The young one laughed as he looked at the tennos.

 

"Who say's we don't know that already mate, we got men all over the station telling us everything. And even if we didn't know that you just gave us your information without a trade."

 

"Not all..."

 

Volt continued.

 

"We've also found what they wanted on a remote desert planet in a nearby sector we know what they're after in the Urial Star system and the Kruntai quadrant. The beginning was just a little gift"

 

The young mans face became much more seriouse as he sat down properly with his hands on the table.

 

"And what do you want in exchange for all this?"

 

"The whereabouts and business of our comrade that came here."

Taking a direct approach to the lower slums of the station, the tennos landed the vechical several blocks away from the entrance to the slums and traveled ahead on foot leaving the unconscious man in the car. using the shadows to their advantage the three approached the bar where they noticed several groups of armed men guarding the slums.

 

"Guess if you're part of an underground organization you'd prefer to have some guards around your home of business."

 

Volt whispered as they descended down the walls, once they hid in an ally the tennos heard the noise of patrols passing by as the armed guards passed. The three armored figures appeared out of place in such a corner of a city. Luckily there were several rags pilled up near the corner. After wrapping themselves in them and covering their helms the three walked out into the light approaching the bar. Once they were half way there the three cloaked figures were stoped by a group of guards.

 

"Where do you think your going?"

 

"We have some information your leader might find interesting and vital..."

 

Vauban spoke as he slightly raised his head still concealing the helm beneath the cloth.

 

"Yea, right and that would be?"

 

"Your friends the grinners aren't happy, they do plan to show it soon enough."

 

The armed guards paused for a moment as one of them stepped away speaking through the intercom to a voice on the other end. Once the man came back the guards stepped out of their way and allowed them in to the bar. Inside there were several floors with many space pirates and other galactic scum drinking to their hearts content. The tennos were soon called over to the stairs leading up where the important guests were seated. On the second floor there were some pirate captains getting wasted with some females from the street working class. The guards were only surrounding one table where three men were seated.

The syndicate member gazed at them through the shady lighting and sat for a few seconds before questioning.

 

"The flamboyant one that was here just a few hours earlier. He  seemed different compared to other tenno's we've faces, but on the other hand, the other tennos we faced had their swords at our throats. "

 

The three warriors could see the grip of the guards tighten as the man spoke. They all watched the group silently, the young one smirked at them and answered.

 

"Very well, but I want all of the grineer and Corps intel you have."

 

"All of it is out of the question, choose one and we trade bit by bit for all we need."

 

Volt responded to the syndicates outrageous demand.

 

"We're not here for a tea party lads, you ether take what you get or we'll take what we want, your choice."

 

The tension rose as the tennos sat silently while the bar echoed with the noise of drunk pirates. The silence was soon broken as a man was thrown through the entrance, he was knocked back with a shotgun and the wounds were laced with a strange green material. Through the broken doors, the figure of a grineer with plasmatic core attached to its chest and a shotgun with six barrels. He stood outside waiting for the soldiers to burst in to the bar. Once inside they held all the customers on the first floor at gun point except for the bartender who was finishing his cleaning of a glass and slammed it on the table pulling out a bottle of a dark blueish fluid that was poured into the glass.

 

"Wheres Bricks?"

 

The grineer in charge asked as he stepped up to the counter in front of the bartender.

 

"Dependents on who's asking."

 

The barman responded blindly, leaning on the counter and looking the soldier in the eyes. The grineer laughed a bit looking at his comrades, after playing it off for a few seconds he gripped the shotguns handle and pointed it at the bartender pulling the trigger that blasted him into the racks of drinks and through the wall. After killing the man he turned to the customers and said.

 

"A million credits, to the one who can tell me where Bricks is!!!"

 

A dreary silence covered the room as everyone hesitated. The grinner pulled his shotgun out and pointed at random person on the first floor, after blasting him away, he lifted his hands and said again.

 

"Ten million credits to the one that brings me Bricks!!!"

 

The pirate captain on the second floor jumped from his seat and yelled.

 

"He's here!!!"

 

Pointing in the direction of the tennos surrounded by guards.

 

"Sir Ranklu ta what an unpleasant surprise, what brings you to my little establishment."

 

The young man stood up and spoke with much vigor in his voice taunting the grineer. He gazed from the balcony above watching him.

 

"I've been ordered to bring you in."

 

"Really, well we have a little problem with that now don't we?"

 

"That we do, your still alive and as everyone knows, I only bring in the dead."

 

"I guess we'll have to correct that."

 

The young man turned to the tennos and said.

 

"Fix this, and I'll give you the intel you need."

 

"Deal"

 

Volt said as he stood from his seating, the three cloaked figures stared at the grineer soldiers gazing at them from above, as they slowly gripped for their blades.

The three tennos watched the grineer troops as the leader gazed at them and laughed before saying.

 

"So what is this Bricks, some scavenging dogs you picked up?"

 

Loki flicked his fingers hidden underneath the cloak, forming a hologram in the midst of the soldiers on the first floor. Shocking them to the sudden appearance, two of the marines opened fire, the bullets flew past the head of the general and broke the bottles that remained standing on the shattered wall. The big one with the shot gun looked back at the two as he noticed the shape behind him, he screamed through the grinding teeth.

 

"TENNOS!"

 

Pointing his hand he commanded the troops to open fire upon the three figures above. Volt leaped over the edge of the balcony ripping his cloak with the edges of his blades as he jumped down stabbing the nearest soldier. The marines that managed to fire up a shot at the two figures above could only see the cloak ripping as the figure of Loki stood there. The hologram took form as the horned devil ripped the necks of the two marines behind him. Standing where his hologram stood before, kicking the other soldier closest to him into the air. Vauban twisted around hiding behind the pillar as he pulled his gun out. Aiming down at the floor bellow he pulled the trigger blasting two of the soldiers bellow.

 

The general tried to quickly turn around and shoot the twin horned tenno as Loki knocked the shotgun up above the generals head as he pulled the trigger. He blasted a soldier of his own that was flung into the air by Volt, the soldier was propelled through the roof. The leader of the troops looked ahead to find the blue tenno before him, clenching his fist as a bright current surrounded it, with a flash he whipped his arm blasting the general out the door and into the street. The only remaining grineer trooper was climbing the stairs as an axe pierced his head as Ban ripped the cloak off with its edge.

 

"Bravo, bravo tennos, but say, what will you do about the gunners outside?"

 

Bricks laughed as a sound rose from outside the bar, the charging of machine gun turrets as the bullets began to shred the wall. Loki quickly took his leave switching places with the corpse of the soldier whose head Vauban had just split. Volt rushed to the side of the room as the gunfire began to spread through the lower floors, he ran up the nearest wall and jumped back as he gazed down upon the people bellow, as he flipped through the air. The running citizens, the pirates escaping the drunks that were being shredded to bits on the floor bellow. The bullets began to slice their bodies as the impact moved the flesh like a drop of water in the ocean the weaves spread, and once the shots exited the body with a spray of blood they carried on spreading the pain barely slowing down as the drops of red fluid splattered along the wooden floor bellow. The bodies in some cases cut with a barrage of shots ripping the torso or arm away from the body as it fell painting the ground. Volt hooked his feet on the lamps that were being ripped apart as he swung to the second floors rails. Reaching for the edge he could only watch as several bullets began to slam into his arm, the armor was beginning to fracture as it began to break, the first bullet breached the shell breaking through and sinking under his skin, it remained there as the armor on  the other side flexed holding it inside. Vauban caught Volts arm as he began to pull the tenno up. With his arm shot Volt gripped his pistol and turned to the young man named Bricks.

 

"We'll deal with them, you take this chance to get out."

 

"Very well, and by the way, your friend left for the Noguru cluster where the center of the black market lies. He also took the girl with him so I think that might still prove useful, but if you need to get into the market you need a source."

 

"What source!?"

 

"A shadow dealer..."

 

Bricks said as he followed his guards to the secret exit to the lower section of the station where their hanger was hidden. Left behind the tennos were facing an army of grineer soldier trapped in a bar in the slum district.

 

"So what now?"

 

"Now, we just need to get back to the ship."

Making their way to the roof to avoid the front line of the grineer soldiers, the tennos passed several dead pirates who were attempting to escape. Once out of the building they could hear the generals voice as he ordered every living thing inside the building to surrender. Believing that the tenno threat was eliminated he laughed at the futile attempt to hinder him. Volt looked down from the edge, there were a few light gunners down bellow with several soldiers guarding the back line, Loki spotted a strangler wandering off and pointed him out to the others, the tennos used this opportunity to use him for an escape dummy, switching places with the soldier the devilish tenno left him at the mercy of Volts blade as they split his head to keep him silent. Loki quickly checked around to make sure the area was clear before switching places with Vauban who quickly found a way to get another grineer soldier to investigate the surroundings and separate from the group. With a slight noise, he attracted the marine that he quickly dealt with from the shadows, cutting the head clean off. Switching with the new body, Loki quickly switched back moving Volt to his prior position, they then found a container to use for the final swap. Before that the team prepared to deal with the grineer's by building a small trap for them behind the corner of the street. Once all was set, Loki threw the two dead bodies from the roof at the foolish generals feet. As they landed with a loud thump the entire army brought to this onslaught was startled as the bodies were not only mutilated but also seemed to give off a beeping signal. As the general gazed upon it he quickly flung one of the nearby marines upon the two bodies and rushed back to cover as the explosion erupted decimating the front line.

 

The echoing noise wore down as the generals fury rose, he quickly spotted the ally where the tennos were hiding and ordered all the remaining soldiers to charge forth. Rushing through the streets the marines quickly fell into the trap set by the other tenno's, the soldiers and ships that took the front were quickly knocked up as they flipped through the air before crashing on to the soldiers behind them. The road was covered up and the flaming wreckage's were blocking the path for any one. During that time the tennos managed to acquire a vechical to return to the maintenance entrance that they used to acquire access to the city. Leaving the slum the tennos sped through the station to the entrance that they used, there were several teams of grineers bringing the dead bodies out, as the fight with the tenno forces were discovered. Being forced to search for a different rout the three took to lower grounds climbing down under the walkways. There was a vent leading to the elevator shaft that they could use. Climbing through it the tennos found several other branching leading to other descending shafts down to the engineering decks, where the whole cities maintenance was undertaken. The three warriors followed down the endless pit till they reached the bottom, the roof of the lowered elevator, it was in use as the men working outside had fainted without the guards aid. Slipping into the shadows the three waited as the elevator lifted away to the upper levels before they could return to their ship. Only after reaching their vessel, the team had a moment to breath and think about their next move.

 

"So we know where the wretched traitor went to, but why would he go to a Black market paradise?"

 

"The orders technology is worth a lot, even when its still attached to someone, and if you want to hide from a lot of people, its useful to get a new life."

 

"So he's gonna buy himself a new identity after he sells the girl?"

 

"He probably doesn't even know what he has so if we hurry we can still catch him."

 

"But this Shadow dealer, thing, what's that about?"

 

"Only one way to find out, lets get back to the others and meet up with the professor, he probably knows a few of those."

 

Volt said as he cracked open the med kit and pulled out some nano plating from the repair tools. Reaching in with his own two fingers he quickly ripped the bullet from his arm and poured a green liquid on the wound before placing a small sheet over it, the sheet quickly bonded with the skin and seemed to replace the leather textile that naturally covered the body. After the procedure he placed a nano plate on the wound that began to repair the broken armor and solidified covering the shattered structure. Loki took control of the ship navigating back through the asteroid field heading for the main ship where the rest of there team remained.
