Through several warps gates Saryn and Sting arrived back in the star system where the underwater outpost stood, after the crisis, and Njords disappearance the two began their search with the underwater outpost scanning it for survivor. Through their search they couldn't find any conclusive evidence of their friends location, turning away from the outpost the two rose back to the surface and began their search in the nearby cliff sides looking for any life. Soon they found the hanger for the emergency ship that was missing. While Saryn looked through the shadows on the grass, Sting examined the inside of the hanger, it was empty for quit some time yet there were reminiscence of someone living there. The food reserves were opened and the water filtration system was still active, that aside the bloodstain on the floor peeked his interest, as he examined it there were traced of the energy synthetic mixture used by tennos, the blood belonged to one of their own. As he looked through the evidence there was proof that there was no big struggle, but a sudden strike from something that attacked from a blind spot. The blood spread out quit a bit but there were slight traces that he walked away from the incident.

While Sting was inside investigating Saryn found few fish bones thrown into a corner behind the rocks near the sea. The ones using the hanger as a home were being cautious of the food supplies they had left. She also noticed a few blood traces on the side of the rocks leading up the hill along the cliff, it was the only passage that lead to the top aside from climbing. Sting soon joined her as they followed the path to the top. Up above there were two voices speaking something just beyond the tennos hearing. Once they finally reached the top of the cliff the two hid behind some rocks watching as two grineer soldiers worked on some equipment, trying to contact someone.

"This is recon team Simga Lua Mera 625 reaching out from a crash site, any nearby forces respond."

"I don't think we'll make contact anytime soon, that blasted tenno scum. There's probably no one in this sector even."

"Someone has to come, if the flagship is damaged and unresponsive there will at least be a recon team searching survivors to gather information. Till then we can only play this on a loop and watch the frequencies."

The two stood there scanning the radio transmissions as the tennos observed them. Sting then concluded that if Njord escaped with their ship then they only had to follow his traces. He worked on his control pad for a while before he found the frequency.

"This is Aurelia Negma Ur 107 we read you, verify your authenticity, please recite your ships tracer."

The two were overjoyed to have a response.

"This is Sigma Lua Mera 625, our tracer is 101001101 binary six."

"Understood we'll be arriving soon, what happened down there?"

"We were attacked by some wounded tenno as he forced the ship to the land he snuk inside and escaped with our vessel as we investigated the landing area."

The two were glad to be finally located by ally's, yet that joy was short lived as the two tennos stood behind them with their guns armed and ready to blast their skulls open. Two shots echoed through the planes as the tennos left the planet in search of the wounded friend. They hid in space while decoding the trace of the ship, it jumped through several star clusters into a farther away system, the two prepped to follow the lost vessel. As they jumped to their next location the communicators of the grinner soldiers fizzed as a voice came on to them.

"This is recon Ula Kam Tra 842, are you still there?"

Breaching space the two entered the part of the galaxy where Njords traces lead them, there was no evidence of him leaving yet, but as they arrived they were greeted to a harsh response from the inhabitant of the star. A large beast flew by whipping the side of the ship as it brushed through the asteroids, it was a gigantic lizard like creature that had the appearance of a worm, like a snake it shifted through the void slithering farther into the debts of the system approaching the star as it fed on the radiation and heat.

"Is that?"

Sting asked with a shock filled voice.

"Yes, its a Drogmar."

"I thought they were extinct..."

"They can survive in the cold and frozen void for millennial, its a miracle to see one alive."

"How many of them exist?"

"Maybe just a few, or maybe only this one..."

Sting watched the radar scanning for the transmissions from the ship where Njord was, the pulsing response returned from the beasts center, the scans indicated that the ship was swallowed by the large creature wandering the void.

"Look's like we'll have to get up close and personal with it."

"Going inside that thing is the last thing I want."

Saryn sighed as she watched him pull the wheel as propel them closer to the beast. Sting raced along its side avoiding the asteroids as he neared the giant snakes jaws. As the serpent spread its fangs to swallow the approaching metal asteroid it sucked it by creating pressure inside its thick leather jaws. Sting took this chance to dive in through a gap and slid past its bite into the belly of the beast. The inside of the beast were silent, isolating darkness as they shined the lights to illuminate the path. The two flew in deeper into the beast as they searched for the source of the signal. Nearing it they gazed outward looking for the vessel stolen b y their friend. Outside the glass, in the black darkness of the beasts belly they saw the remains of the ship that had crashed into the side of the serpents long throat. Lowering the ship closer to the shattered vessel Saryn noticed a bite mark on the hulls surface. Sting could feel that the ship hit something as there was a scratching noise coming from outside the ship, he left the vessel in a locked perpetual state of levitation as the two prepared to step out to search for Njord.

Once the doors to the ship opened Sting jumped out of the vessel landing on the hide covering the throat, there was a hissing noise as he looked back there was a flat worm sliding around the leather hide as it jumped at him, the tenno responded with a gashing slice cutting it apart. The giant serpent flinched as he felt the motion within it. A loud scream came from somewhere within the beast as Saryn jumped out she was attacked by a bat like beast that spread its jaws separating them into pincers. She knocked the creature back with a slam using her elbow before kicking it away with a spin knocking the beasts wing out of its cavity and dislocating it. As the beast fell into the surface a swarm of the flat vermin surrounded it and began devouring the defenseless creature. The two tennos were uphold at such a cruel parasite infecting the serpent. They quickly rushed to the crashed ship to find their friend so they could leave this dark wretched place. Breaking the door open they quickly found the inside of the ship locked from within, it took a while to break the coding as the puzzle lock was a new model. Once the lock was breached they entered the vessel to find Njord unconscious in the pilots seat. There was a grineer corpse in the corner as its dry blood was freezing due to the cold of the void breaking in through the damaged hull. Njords vitals weren't in a good state as the two pulled him out. There was a scratching hiss as a group of the flat snakes broke into the ship. They quickly rushed for the body of the dead grineer, taking this chance the two rushed out as they approached their ship, Sting took over the task of taking their friend up to the vessel while Saryn took a moment to allow them to get inside, as the two entered the ship there was another bat approaching from above, Saryn pulled her gun on it blasting the creature away, but as the bullet pierced it it hit the leather hide of the throat that irritated the giant serpent. There was a loud growling as a bright light began to surface from its stomach, Saryn jumped to the ship sealing the door behind her as she screamed at Sting.

"We need to leave now!"

The tenno took the steering of the ship as they exited the isolation field that kept them suspended and turned around. Blasting the engines and shooting out through the opened jaws a few flat worms jumped onto the ships surface as they exited the serpent. They flew past the fangs twisting the ships sides to fit through an incoming asteroid and the teeth of the beast. As soon as they exited the jaws, the parasites from the serpent began freezing from exposure to the void and its radiation and cold. The small vermin fell off from the ship as the serpent threw up blasting out a ball of magma, it twitched as it turned away from the star and flew to the edge of the star system. The tennos were now safe and as Saryn inspected the wounds on Njords body she quickly pulled the med kit from its compartment to quenched the suffering and stop the still dying tennos untimely demise.

"We need to go to the nearest Handler!"

Sting scanned the signals from the tenno channels and found the nearest flagships belonging to the order. Plotting course for the best possibility he launched the ship through the warp while Saryn attended to Njords wounds.

Back on Orchids flagship the tennos returned though the asteroid littered minefield in a rush to escape the pursuing grinner ships. Volt took the first chance to inform the captain to leave the sector immediately before a conflict arose from this incident. They could not risk Lotus gaining the advantage of their position, fleeing the system through the warp they fled to the nearest abandoned star they could find. During the time they had the three tennos gathered to the slightly reconstructed meeting room where Ember had her fit, that revealed the power of the limit breaker system that was explained by the professor. While they were away the old one took this chance to once again seal the limiter in Embers armor to avoid further incidence.

"We know where the traitor has fled to, but our pursuit will have to alter its course."

Volt explained as he surveyed the scorched room that had the engineers busy during their trip to the black market.

"Why? if we know where he is we can capture him right now."

The question rose from Frost who appeared rather irritated and impatient.

"Its not that easy, he fled for the Noguru capital, the black market."

Vauban spoke as he opened the projections moving the map to the cluster in mind.

"If he sells the suit the entire order will be compromised, we can't let him reach the market."

Orchid panicked, as such a threat was never a grand issue till the rise of the syndicate.

"We can't reach the black market without an inside source, a dealer that knows where to find buyers and sellers across the galaxy. And if Nataly bleeds in the market we might have another outbreak like in the Zenus cluster, when the entire sector was swarmed and devoured by the infection."

"So we're dealing not only with a traitor of our own but also with a possible bio weapon. We need help from an old friend."

"What friend?"

Void questioned the professors phrasing.

"First we need to visit a Grinner prison in the outer most section of the Euralus cluster, there is a certain pirate that has been imprisoned there, after that we will need to go visit a dead world in hopes of finding a tenno that is skilled with dealing in bio weapons."

"So we need to gain the aid of a Nekros?"

"Indeed, the pirate should hold knowledge of the black market and Nekros should be able to deal with the worst case scenario."

"If it comes to worst, is it really the only way?"

"Sadly yes, we might have to eliminate the entire world."

Cracking through the dark void of space a light broke open, striking like lightning as the ship entered the star system with the tennos within. Aboard the crew was rushing to prep the small vessel for departure and prepping defenses to avoid enemy fire whilst the crew would be released. The tennos had decided that letting Volt and Ash enter the ship alone would be the fastest way to locate the pirate within the prison. Whilst the two of them would infiltrate the ship the vessel would be left to Ember who would avoid the defenses till they return. Whilst the meeting was drawing to a close the room began flashing red as the captain contacted Orchid to inform her.

"The grineer defenses had detected us already we must escape before they're reinforcements arrive."

"Understood, prep the ship for warping destination Urielus Prime 10769."

"At your command we will leave, I suggest the team depart as quickly as possible."

The three tennos left the room rushing to the hanger where all was ready for their leave. Shard stood atop on the platforms watching them as the three boarded the vessel and left through the gravity field door as it began to close. Once shut the ship was immediately on course to the escape rout. The captains voice echoed through the speakers in all decks with the countdown beginning from ten.

"Will they be fine out there?"

"My dear Shard, if there's anyone that can make it back its Volt, after the war on his home world I'm amazed he still has that much strength. Yet what lies within the desolent rock of the prison is a monster of its own, that will break their wills and souls if they don't hold the light tightly at their sides."

"Why didn't you warn them of him?"

"That is a demon they must face on their own, the knowledge would only hinder their true mission."

Shard turned to the professor who was watching the men bellow rushing to their posts.

"What is our true mission then?"

"That is for me to know and you ti find out on your own their child, but Lotus is just a pawn in this war, the hand wrapped around her frail neck, extends farther then all of us aboard the Dunessus. If he forefills his desire's, there shall be no safe haven for tennos across the universe."

The old man walked away to the shadows leaving the red tenno standing alone in the shady catwalk above the hanger.

Upon leaving the flagship the team raced for the asteroid field cloaking their ship to escape the incoming grinner battle cruiser racing to the side of the star system where the tennos had arrived. Escaping their pursuit the team flew through the belt in search for the prison where the target was held secure. They could see the giant ship that had departed from vanish with the lights screeching through the void as it jumped away from the enemy attack, the cruisers quickly gave pursuit as they followed into the warp. Soon the team located a transmission emanating from a nearby facility, it was prisons intercom system. They searched for the source, as soon as they left the asteroid belt the crew could see where the signal was emanating from. The prison was stationed on the moon, but as they approached the satellite orbiting the nearby planet the team could only see a large structure atop the rocks surface, yet it seemed to small to be the entire prison. As Ember piloted the vessel, the two prepared to infiltrate the planet bellow.

"We'll remain in radio contact. As soon as we find the target be ready to get us out of there."

"Just don't leave me out here for too long those boneheads might still locate the engines."

Sealing themselves in the back the two tennos left the vessel as they leaped out into the gravitational field of the moon dropping to its surface. Once the two were gone Ember pulled the ship back to the asteroid field and took cover within the cavern of the rocks. The two landed several miles away from the building and began approaching it with care. Once close enough they used the weak gravity field to scale up to the hanger where they could easily infiltrate the structure. Volt was surprised to find that the whole top of the building was a giant hanger. Witch meant the actual prison ran deep under the surface.

Sneaking their way to the elevator gate the two stayed in the shadows watching the arriving ships unload captives, of different species some were half androids and then from one of the ships they spotted a shinning glimmer. A figure stepped out its body was covered in metal plating, the being was the shape of a man but its body was completely android synthetics covered in plating. It wore a cloak of red with the symbol of a long dead stellar nation, it was tied down with several chains and energy draining plates that were mounted around its body, a whole army of grinners gathered to bring this beast to its cell as they surrounded it, the two tennos took the opportunity to breach the door of the elevator and follow the shaft to the depths below. Before following the path to the prison Volt turned back one last time to look at the humanoid beast of steel, before jumping down to the black abyss.

The two raced down sliding, as though scatting on ice vertically to the dark depths of bellow. The two noticed the rising elevator as they dove to the vents and continued their approach. The tennos crawled through the rat infested ventilation as they searched for a grate opening to the prison. They paused for a moment to regain contact with the ship.

"Ember, do you read?"

"Yeah, the communication is a bit static but I read you, I've managed to reach a dark corner of the belt and avoided detection the coordinates for the meeting point have been set, we're ready to leave at any point."

"Hows the situation out there?"

"The empire is bringing in a few new ships from other sectors probably more prisoners but since there aren't any high security their probably off investigating something else in the sector but I've been catching a few transmissions about an arrival due soon."

"What intel are we currently holding about this place."

"I'll check the entire file and call you back."

After the transmission ended the two continued on to a fork in the road, the left path was darker and seemed to continue on for a while, while the rats seemed to be moving from the right. Ash knelt down and gripped some dust from the ground as the rodents scattered away from him. He lifted the hand and let the dust scater in front of the dark passage, it seemed to be pushing the cloud. While he scatered the remains of the dust in his palm in front of the right path the dust was pulled in to the vent.

"The rats are probably just looting the food reserves, we should try to carry on through here."

Volt said as he pointed at the dark path, Ash gazed at the rodents and shook his head. Following the path through the right he forced his colleague to follow. The two continued for a few minuets till an opening was spotted the rats were still continuing to travel through the vent. As the tennos gazed out they saw a whole crew of soldiers pushing the prisoners down to an elevator, the guards didn't get on but as it began to descend the next box opened up on the other side and tin man was brought forth, he was escorted by several soldiers and even the guards that brought the other prisoners forth stood armed and ready. As the tin figure passed Volt could feel its stair as the machine looked up at the vents, the opening wasn't big enough to get through and barely good enough to see, the tennos watched as the android was brought into the elevator with the guards and descended into the construct bellow.

"Interesting, why did they guard him so diligently but ignore the rest as though they weren't even worth bothering."

Suddenly the intercom broke open as  Embers voice sounded though the helm.

"The prisson is heavily guarded the fleets ships are returning and their all starting to gather, STAY OUT OF THE VENTS, the whole structure is guarded and patrolled by Rollers!"

"What?"

The tennos voice was quickly drowned out as the squeaking screams came from behind them. The rumbling echo of a machine approaching. The two gazed back as three metal spheres rushed out from behind the corner crushing and ripping the rats to shreds. A gruesome and horrific pest control. The tennos quickly began to run with the rats at their side racing for their lives. The rolling terror from behind gave hast to follow. The tennos soon saw the end of the path as the vents end was sealed with a metal grate, Ash quickly pulled his shuriken and through them slicing the bars out of the way as they approached. The two leaped out of the vents stabbing their swords in to the walls near the vents  edge as they spun around. The rodents all jumped or raced down the wall to escape their demise. As the rollers finally caught up they flew out of the vents in pursuit of the rats the first of them began changing form to a worm like machine as it turned to shoot at the tennos but the following machines slammed into it and crushed its lasers causing it to implode and self destruct. The rollers flew down as the tennos gazed at the surrounding, Bellow them was a balcony, but beneath that it was a giant ward filled to the brim with life forms of all races, some were even from a long deceased race that was destroyed during the war. The prisoners walked around freely trapped by the guards as several turrets watched over the elevator anyone who would approach was shot, as was evident by the rotting corpses of those who tried. The prison wasn't a small outpost on the moon, the prison was within the moon itself and its size rivaled a small planet.

Hanging above the small walkway the two dislodged their blades from the wall and landed upon the catwalk. Watching the fields bellow, they saw the elevator filled with prisoners arrive as the soldiers behind a fortified wall pushed them out and ordered them to walk through a long wide field to the passage to the rest of the imprisoned souls that watched them from the sides. As the group walked they noticed the bones littering the fields bellow their feet, the prisoners walked slowly as the guards began to fiddle with the computers. There were six giant pillars around the elevator. A voice from the crowd arose as all were screaming out their lungs.

"RUN!!!"

The few that understood rushed to the other side of the six hundred feet long field. Within the crowd there were few far off on the roof that seemed to be betting on something. The cruelty of this large prison became apparent, as the grinners finished preparing the machines. The six towers began to rattle as they separated the tops, like broken glass it broke open lowering the sides as six giant machine guns arose from them. The guns activated with a hum as the lasers began to scan the field. The remaining new arrivals froze before giving chase after the others. The guns quickly took aim at the prisoners and began to envelop the field in a rain of bullet fire as it mowed down prisoner after prisoner. The tennos could only watch as the field was quickly covered in blood and the few that escaped could only cry for their lives, for being condemned to such a hell hole. The ones on the buildings laughed as they collected their bets and drank their loses away.

"How are we supposed to find a pirate in this wretched hole?" Volt asked as he watched the crowed avoid the elevator that seemed the only entrance. The rollers down bellow were already bashed up by the prisoners and ripped apart for scraps like sewage dogs they left nothing but the remains of a robot that soon disappeared in the crowed collected as well.

Ash tapped on his shoulder to get his attention and then pointed at the end of the catwalk, an entrance stood leading to deeper into the construct. The darkness beckoned them to come closer, yet there was no where else to turn to either the dark passage or the city bellow. This was the only option then to be savagely devoured by the people bellow. Following the catwalk to the doorway the two ventured further into the compound as their target was nowhere to be found. In the dark pathway they found themselves surrounded by massive pipes leading to the farther depths of the prison. With the darkness reaching farther and farther they could finally see a slight glimmer, it peeked from a corner that lay beyond. The two rushed to it as they suddenly heard the footsteps of soldiers cumming closer. The noise grew louder and louder as the shadows of two soldiers turned from behind the corner. They followed the walkway to the catwalk.

"How can three rollers just dissapear while hunting rodents, their not flyers that could get damaged in the tunnels."

"I don't know but we were told to see what happened so that's what we're here for, besides we can fire a few shots at the prisoners and maybe throw a grenade or two."

"Yea, you got a point there."

The grinners walked away without noticing the shadows of the tennos hidden within the darkness. The two silently continued along the pipes to the light leading into a large room, with monitors, the room had a large cobweb of cabals covering the ceiling with not a single soldier in sight. The tennos observed the screens as they showed many corners of the city they saw before, there were several trade hubs being monitored and some tracked specific prisoners within the compound. There was another set of screens separate from the rest. It monitored the elevator with the cyborg prisoner that was brought in and a set of halls closely guarded by soldiers and machine turrets. The terminal nearby controlled the cameras. As Volt investigated the computer he found files of prisoners within that section of this abyss. A separated section of the prison deep underneath the city, deep within the confound another prison for special cases. The files listed several individuals that were known to Volt. Scedg Bulkar a man that slaughtered an entire planet with two ships and devastated the transit system to several other regions in the galaxy. There were many crimes committed by these people that were locked up down there but there was one new entry. Cougash Sero the file stated that 97% of his body was replaced with enhanced machinery and even parts of his brain was reconstructed with nano machinery into a quantum computer. This being was charged with the annihilation of an entire fleet of Infected Grinner ships destroying all survivors and any records, the log also mentioned that the grinners called for help in apprehending him. yet it did not mention who aided them. Among the registered prisoners there was the name that was charged with several piracy acts and simply coded as Boot leg. This man was imprisoned in the second block of the high security compound bellow. His cell was unmarked and only a single guard held the key's to his room. The grinners showed much interest in keeping him within the compound. This had to be the pirate the professor spoke of. After downloading a map to the facility the tennos were forced to return to the passage way as descending by the pipes was their only path to the lower compound. As they left a set of eyes observed them from above, from the web of cabals dangling from the ceiling. The eyes quickly multiplied as four more revealed itself around it.

"Now who would this be?"A dry and deep voice whispered from above as it watched the two disappear.

Farther and farther down the two descended as the shadows elapsed around them, the few rays of light beamed through like threads strung through the walls. They could hear the noise from the streets of the lawless prison that had established a whole city within its walls. As they proceeded down bit by bit from one pipe to the next the two could hear the sounds of the city fade as the two approached an unexpected halt in their path. The pipes ended as they continued through the wall ahead, there was only a drop down to the darkness underneath the city, the two had no clue how deep it was as not even the helms receptors or vision aids could catch a gimps of the ground bellow. The two tennos halted for a moment wondering of their next step, Ash gazed down as he pulled out one of his throwing knifes and tossed it into the dark abyss. As they waited no sound echoed back to them.

"Looks like this is where we have to look for an alternative, Ether we cut our way into the pipelines or follow them hopping there's an entrance anywhere..." Volt stud up from his crouching position and followed the pipe to a small vent. There were fumes coming out of it, the suits readings showed high toxicity levels. "So I guess, that's not an option."

They both decided to separate and search for an alternative following along the paths they had left, Volt searched along the lowest pipe while Ash took to higher grounds looking for an answer. There was a large conversion of several pipes, as through wrapped in a knot as the blue spark soon discovered. The wall blocking their path was the cause of this, as they all entered through it, there were no paths through but he spotted a small gap where he could peek through. Behind the wall was a large dim hall, as he watched the sound of footsteps gently squished through as he saw a group of soldiers leading the metal plated prisoner, the hall was soon empty as they passed, but then a figure stepped forth, it was a man with a long cape, wrapping around his shoulders, in his hand he held a long blade that sparked from time to time, by a fraction of a second a bolt of lightning ran through it. The grineer was a high officer, the warden of this prison as he held the emblem of the law keeper within the empire, not as though there was any lawful judgement aside murder. Yet these wardens managed to not only secure order within the empires chaos, but by as far as the intel suggested these keepers were one of the strongest grineers ever bread, and the chain of command falling upon them came from two figures within the Grineer's. As Volt watched a message came to him from Ash, it said to come meet him, about the entrance within the walls further above a bit. When Volt gazed back at the hall the figure appeared to be looking at him, it was shocking as he stepped back from the wall and slowly walked away avoiding any noise that could reveal his position. Yet an uneasy feeling still fell upon his shoulders. As he thought, the blade reminded him of the mission with his old team, when they lost Shard.

As he reached the tenno calling him to come Ash stood next to a small vent big enough to climb through to a proper opening. As the blue tenno looked though the grates he could see an opening a small gap that they could break the grates leading to the halls within the prison.

"Never thought I'd be breaking into a jail cell like this but lets get moving before anyone spots us."

"A little late for that tennos." A voice echoed as the two looked around there was a large six legged shadow on the pipes above them, as it spoke several other spider like figures crawled out from the darkness. "I applaud your effort, but this is as far as you go." Six red eyes shined looming over the tennos.

With the arachnid shadow descending upon them with a swarm the two tennos felt cornered like a pray. As the soldiers approached the fellow warriors prepared for battle, drawing their blades the two pulled closer to each other shoulder to shoulder to defend from the fiends. As the smaller arachnids jumped at the tennos. The two warriors rushed aside spiting up and attacking the enemy from the side. Ash threw a few daggers at the small robots that slammed into the vent where the two stood. The robots behind them bent the grates blocking their passage. Volt jumped to the opposite side of his friends and landed in an ambush of three robots that began spitting acid at him. Spinning down he flipped down from the pipe stabbing his knife into the side of it before spinning up and kicking the spider of the pipe sending it plummeting down to the cavern bellow. Whilst up in the air he threw the knife in his hand at the remaining spider, while he flew over the second one tapping his hand on the surface of it and sending a pulse of energy shocking its surcetry. Pushing himself away the blue tenno landed on the pipes bellow.

With each falling minion the leader of the pact grew furious, he threw away his pride and leaped at the nearest tenno who happened to be Ash, stabbing the pipes and walls with his claws. Ash avoided each strike with grace as he was slowly driven back, a minion of the leaders jumped at him from behind, the silent assassin jumped onto its back kicking it off in the direction of the leaders next strike. As it stabbed into its own follower the body got hooked upon the claw and wouldn't fall off, at first he ignored the corpse upon his leg but when its other claw thrusted into the wall missing the tenno it remained stuck within the rocks, attempting to rip it out the leader of the swarm threw the corpse of its follower at the silent warrior. Ash sled under the flying corpse and pulled out his small daggers gripping them at the side of his fists. He avoided the stab of the spiders claw and spun around it gripping the leg with the blade as he approached the body of the beast, it was simply a man with a suit of a spider hooked to his spine and head. The helm seemed to be the main controls for the whole body, so acting accordingly he began slicing the flesh and artery's of the leader. Once the front was cut up he jumped to the wall rushing along side it as he sliced the suit cutting its power and controls, before jumping of and kicking the man with his suit off the ledge and down the cavern to the endless void. When the fight had ended he turned to the side to see Volt still fighting several minions near the vent. Twisting his fingers the assassin threw the knifes piercing the heads of the spiders and ending Volts struggle. When they both returned to the only opening to the prison bellow, the blue tenno looked at his comrade and said.

"I could have finished it myself... maybe..."

Pulling the grate off the wall the two could finally reach the inside of the facility. There were two soldiers patrolling the hall, as they watched the empty corridor the two spoke.

"You know I don't mind this stupid job, patrolling the prisoners. But it is kinda boring."

"Just be happy we don't have to go on the front line, aside the tennos theres still those rotten Hejcras, and I've seen the guys coming back from the war. You'd be lucky if your not in a body back or a jar."

"By the way you ever decide what to do on mothers day?"

"Yeah I just send her some specimens from the Combula sector, she kinda likes those things."

"Witch lab are you talking about?"

"I was born in Heksta, we were made by the mistress Go'lmi, shes not bad but I hear there are worst clonerss out there."

"I'm from Dekam myself but I hear the one in Ruxiz is a hell hole. Did you see the reports on how few ever come out of there?"

"Yeah, the ones that due are freaks and the mistress there, I heard she's not much different, she only sends out a few to keep her dead lines aside that those poor guys are like test subjects."

"Yeah..."

The two were immediately silenced by the tennos rupturing their trouts and silently pulling their corpses to the shadows. Once the two were out of the way the search could now begin through the prison deep beneath the follow satellite of a deserted world.

"I wonder what they were talking about, Ruxiz?"

Volt whispered before walking away to the empty halls.

The wide halls were filled with door after door leading to rooms where chained up prisoners were held captive. The two tennos searched the passage ways for the cell with the pirate, yet all were ether holding a lifeless corpse or a someone who was moaning. Tormented by the echoing halls the two looked through each hall for the door with the number code of the pirate, from time to time they would cross paths with guards, using the shadows of the halls the tennos avoided any attention. Waiting for the guards to pass, they noticed a sound from the other end of the hall, a melody. Someone was actually playing the harmonica. The sound was coming from an unmarked cell. Using the cameras upon the doors controls Volt could see a man sitting on a bed and playing the instrument. He had a set of long hair covering his face and the metal piece at his lips. Whilst playing he was swinging side to side, enjoying himself.

After hacking the consol the two opened the cell and confronted the man.

"Are you the pirate? We heard about from Brigs?"

"I had not heard that name in many years, what is it now the 20th year past the war or the 60th?"

"It's been 37 years." Volt answered watching the man put down the harmonica.

"Huh, well now, I didn't think he cared about me that much. But tell me why would I leave with you?"

"We need a guide through the black market to stop the infestation outbreak and secure a carrier."

"A carrier, that is worth a lot of money, but I'm still much safer here. Out there half the black market is still gunning for my head."

"And in here the empire forces suffering and torment upon you."

"True, but I'm still alive am I not. Wheres the joy in life if I must die for a fight without a cause?"

"The order is willing to pay."

"Well then, money in hell is still money. Yet If I go with you, you must swear that no harm comes to me till our job is complete."

"Fine."

"Good, then lets start with now and the guards behind you."

Volt turned around to see the two of them surrounded by Grinner soldiers.

"Well, well, well what have we here? Rats seem to infesting my prison." A voice echoed through the hall coming from speakers above. "Apologies that I can not come to you myself but I have business to attend. My soldiers shall deal with the both of you, and if they fail. You'll never leave my hell hole alive." the voice laughed as the transmission ended.

Whilst Volt gazed through the room he was surrounded by seven guards. Yet his friend Ash was gone. As the marines prepared to charge the tenno, the wind was quickly sliced apart as three of the soldiers fell to the ground, small knifes were stuck to the back of their necks piercing their spine. Ash landed from above behind one of the remaining soldiers and sliced his neck pushing him upon the others that stumbled.jumping back he cut the soldier behind him leaving him to bleed out as he kicked the man to the ground. As the remaining two began to open fire upon him, the tenno leaped passed them swinging his blade. As The gunfire subsided the two soldiers crumbled to the ground bleeding from their chest and inner organs. The two men died coughing up blood.

"keep a look out out front, I'll accompany the target." Volt spoke as Ash nodded and vanished in a layer of smoke.

"I have to say your friend is impressive, so along the way tell me what was it you needed in particular." the prisoner asked as he stepped out of the room.

Deep in the dept of the dark prisons chasm, the arachnid leader awoke to the darkness raveling in pain of the piercing bones in his legs that had ripped through the flesh. The thick fluid gushed out as the ground beneath him drank it like a thirsty beast. The man gazed around searching for any hints of where he was, it was upon the realization that he became struck to tears by fear. The darkness, the cold and the ground beneath him could only mean one thing.

"It has been a long time doctor Trech'nus."

A voice echoed from behind him. The arachnid leader turned to see a shape in the darkness walking closer, a man with a small blade in his fingers.

"Lord Nar'woo..." He whispered before crawling back on his hands. "No, stop don't come any closer..."

"Oh please doctor, I'm not gonna kill you yet, I still remember the experiments you put me through, and I want to return everything with interest."

"No, stop! I can get you out of here just please..."

"You can get me out of here?" the shape asked tilting its head.

"Yes, yes of cause I'm the one dealing with the systems I can easily make you vanish and be free once more..." The sleaze little rodent began smiling in hopes that he will be free.

"Who ever said I need your help to be free. After all, I'm no longer in chains." The figure spoke as it stepped closer reaching for the mans throat. The doctor was easily picked up and the blade sunked deep into his side as the shape began to slice bit by bit, deeper into his body ripping one piece of his flesh out after the other before getting bored and slicing the entire body to pieces. Once the brutality was over all that remained of the doctor was a pile of meat and his leather skin perfectly removed from the body. "I guess its about time I paid a visit to my bretherin."

The figure called Nar'woo walked away holding two of the doctors arachnid legs as he used the skin to tie a rope around his waist. The man began to climb the wall stabbing the blades one after the other into the wall and crawling up bit by bit.

Rushing through the halls towards the elevator, Volt gave the pirate a gun to defend himself with. The two were cut off by grinner soldiers after a corners turn where the grinner were surrounding the elevator. Pushing the pirate back he took cover behind some crates while the grinners seeded the entire hall with bullet holes. A prisoners cell was under a barrage of fire as they emptied their guns. The bullets shot glazed past the crate and pierced the door at the end of the hall clashing into a safety harness within the cell. Ash began picking the guards off from behind but they soon regrouped and pushed him back. The gun fire seceded for a few seconds as a loud growling scream came from the cell riddled with bullet holes. The guards became a tad uneasy as they pulled back closer to the elevator. The prisoner that the tennos were escorting smiled and pulled Volt back from the hall.

"What the?"

"Cover me for a few seconds I have an idea, and tell your friend to pull out of there." The pirate said as he stood up next to a console.

"Why, what are you gonna do?"

"I'm gonna let out the dogs."

The man fiddled around with the controls searching for the right command, while Volt patched through to Ash's communicator.

"Ash pull back somethings about to happen, and its gonna be big."

The ninja nodded his head and disappeared in the smoke. The pirate found the controls he was looking for and patched through to the cells opening the doors. At the end of the hall from the grinners where they had riddled the walls with bullets. The doors began to open. With the harnesses released from within  stepped out large scally robust beings with rock for skin and jaws the size of a roller, they could easily rip the armor off the marines in one bite. Seven doors opened in total as these creatures stepped out. They were all dark and in dreary colors as they looked at each other and turned to the marines guarding the elevator.

"It's been a long time coming." The  beings slammed their arms together and with a slow start they began to rush towards the grinner group with full force and a blood curdling roar that shivered the ground beneath them. It was a stampede as the soldiers began to fire at them the bullets bounced off like rubber and soon the beasts ran them over throwing them to all sides like a ball splitting the pool table everything was scattered as they began to pound them into the ground, ripping them limb from limb. The pirate stepped from behind the corner and called Volt out with a hand gesture.

"Come on, this is is our chance. Besides Tramians are tough as a battleship but they got the brains of an ox now lets get outta here before they notice us."

The trio regrouped at the elevator sneaking past the large creatures. with a few pushes of a button they were along their way up. The creatures noticed it and one of them pointed at the elevator.

"Chief their getting away."

"Leave em, as long as that hammer wielding bastard doesn't show up were safe to rampage down here."

As he spoke those words the sound of pounding steel came from the corners of the prison something was breaking out by the sound of it but as a loud noise of breaking steel sounded it appeared that something was breaking in.

The trio in the elevator were preparing for the worst as the blue tenno attempted to contact the ship with Ember. Ash was observing the floors as they rose higher. Soon they entered a long ride up as the elevator passed some large tube at witch they were only illuminated by the light of the small room they were in. Upon exiting it Volt finally reached Ember and began to discuss escape plans. Ash on the other hand noticed something blood chilling as they entered a wide large hall. Within it there was a group of soldiers arriving with a man dressed in dark crimson armor, upon his head there was a cut from the top of his scalp to the rim of the jaw. The man was someone Ash knew and hatted from the depths within. Soon the entire facility was ringing in red lights as the alarm went off, the system was announcing a code Sigma emergency, escape on sub level zeta. As the tennos turned to the pirate he shrugged and said.

"Well we needed a distraction so I put all the cells on a timer, the others should be free by now."

In the floor with the crimson red armored man the leader of the facility stood. Discussing the terms of purchase as the alarm went off. Soon one of the guards ran up to him and asked for a moment of his time as he brought grave news.

"What is it you filthy clone can't you see that I'm busy!!!"

"I can sir, but the surveillance reveals that Lord Nur'woo has escaped his cell."

"What!? How is that possible, he is in the depths of this entire compound there is no way he could escape!!!"

"We are not aware of the circumstances, sir."

With a whisk of his hands the soldiers head came flying off as the leader of the prison turned to the rest of his guards and asked.

"Who is responsible of this!? Seal the lower prison immediately!!!"

"Is there a problem sir?" A young female soldier accompanying the crimson warrior asked.

"No, this just a flaw in the programming our business can commence as agreed."

"Apologies but the lord refuses to purchase from you as you seem unable to secure your own dogs." The woman answered as she discussed with the crimson armored figure.

"What! Who do you think I am!?"

The warden pointed his finger at the girl as he yelled, a slice of wind sounded through the halls, as his hand was separated from his torso.  Behind him near the edge of the hall stood a man in pure silk cloth. Holding a blade in his hands, soon as he sheathed it back into his shaft the entire room between him and the warden was littered with grinners sliced in half.

"You shall address his highness appropriately, or my blade will make short work of your entire facility." He spoke as the warden fumbled back gripping his shoulder where there used to be an arm. Their group left as the entire room was filled with silence.

The emergency lights flickered on and off as the tennos rushed to escape with the pirate who was at their side. though Ash's goals began to shift as he separated from Volt and the captive to chase down the figures he had seen in the elevator. The blue warrior rushed though the halls searching for the ship bay where they were going to hijack a ship out of this prison. The communication system around the entire structure sprung to life as it transmitted the wardens voice.

"To all personnel, this is Lord Rahn warden of Del Casta Grove, We are going into immediate lock down, no ship is to leave the prison till Lord Nur has been eliminated." A small mechanical humming was heard through the system as an engineer spoke through his helm. The words were unclear yet the yell of the warden echoed through the screeching com link. "You idiot, can't you reconnect the arm you worthless test tube grown mush of pathetic protoplasm!"

The two escapees were hiding away in the shadows as they entered the ship bay where arrival was appointed the figures from before were preparing to leave on their vessel as Volt noticed Ash in the shadows above, he was slowly creeping closer unnoticed by the visitors. Ash pulsed through the shadows in puffs of smoke closing in to the targets, as soon as he was in range the silent assassin jumped down with a pulse of smoke aiming his blade for neck of the man guarding them. As he was inches from his skin the silk cloaked figure swung his arm out pulling the blade from his side and knocking the tenno away by his blades edge. Ash flew back to the ground sliding on his toes as he balanced himself with the unarmed hand. The swordsman before him was quick and more skilled then expected. The tenno glanced at him and rushed in at full force. With a single hand they clashed their blades as the sound of sliding mettle echoed through the hall the other visitors boarded the vessel and waited while the fight raged beyond the ships door. The blades clashed without mercy as each swing came closer to their necks, the tension began to crack the walls of the bay as the wind resonated from the pulsing battle. After the last swing the two separated from each other and stood back sizing up their opponents.

"That's quit some skill you possess, it seems familiar." The swordsman spoke as he stepped to the side. "The art of combat, you seem well thought in the art of the blade." He spoke as before leaping forth and swinging the blade in a petal like fashion that seemed to resonate with the air around the blades edge. Without blinking the silent tenno rushed to the enemy slamming his palm in front of the blade. As soon as the two converged the air around the swordsman exploded into flames burning the fabric around his body and knocking him away from the tenno. The swordsman wore a dark flexible armor underneath that held a dark mask under his chin. The mask was similar to a devilish figure with large teeth and two protruding horns. As the man stood back to his feet he gazed at the tenno with a furious grin. "The fire clan? How is anyone of them still alive!?".

The man gripped the blade  with both hands and prepared for a proper duel, but as he tightened his grip on the handle a hand landed on his shoulder. Ash was shocked to see the girl calmly standing behind him.

"His liege asks that we leave immediately." She spoke without a single sound of concern in her voice, the swordsman lowered the blade and abide to the request approaching the ship. At the last moment before entering he gazed at the tenno and said.

"We'll finish this some other time Fire clan..." he smirked as the doors to the vessel closed and began to ascend before firing off. Ash lingered for a moment before giving chase after the vessel, but the ion pulse propulsion system quickly left him behind as the vessel left the prison and shot up into the asteroid belt.

Volt watched him as he was forced to give up the pursuit. During that time he didn't notice the pirate rushing off to the bay and sneaking aboard the grinner vessel. After a quick fiddling with the controls he managed to hack the main deck protocols and take control of the ship. As soon as the vessel began taking off the grinner guards stormed the bay to deal with the situation caused by the fight. Volt and Ash were pinned down in a gun fight till a quick barrage of bullets from the pirates new vessel dealt with the grinner onslaught. The two were clear to head back to the ship, as soon as the two were aboard the ship quickly cleared the bay path and flew out into space. Once outside the defense systems began to react as they opened fire upon them. The tennos avoided the main guns and took to the asteroid belt for cover.

Giving chase to the runaway ship several grinner fighters shot out from the prison to give chase. The grinners used the tracking system to quickly locate the tennos and once they were in sights all ships opened fire upon it blasting the runaways to bits. With the giant explosion the grinners returned to the prison to deal with the situation at hand where all the guards were called to the elevators to keep watch for any escaping prisoners.

Through the dark shadows of space the tennos watched the enemy give up on their pursuit and retreat leaving them free to return to the inter space rail. Jumping to the nearest system and regrouping with the others. As they were leaving the orbit there was a bright flash as a large ship arrived to the system, giving them the perfect cover to leave the star sector.

"You guys are quit the rescue team but to what do I owe the pleasure?" The pirate asked with a smirk on his face as he played around with a gun he stole from the grinner ship.

"We need to gain some information inside the black market." Volt answered as he watched the new travel companion and his toy.

"You guys were in there for quit some time, the others moved on to the agreed location, we'll be there in a few more jumps." Ember spoke as she controlled the ship.

"well then if you were any wiser about the whole black market dealing situation you might know that I'm not the best customer there. Honestly half of them would want me dead, thats why I was in that S#&$ hole in the first place. But if you make it worth my while I might as well give you a hand, luckily there are a few ways to win back favors."

"And they would be?"

"For one we need to head back to my little abode and get a few tools before we can do them. So how about it, you help me and I help you, cause of now this break out is a bit more of a bothersome pain then a great favor."

"Fine, Ember take us to where he needs to go, relay the coordinates to the others we'll meet them ahead at the Necros." Volt said as he left the room to look for the other member of their team. Inside the med bay Ash was tending to his scratches as Volt stepped in. "So you mind explaining what that whole fight was about, or are you gonna remain silent?" he questioned.

Ash pulled out a few wires from the speakers nearby and connected it to his armor as he began to type away.

With the tapping of the buttons a voice emerged from the speakers representing Ash's voice. It was electric and rigid but clear enough to hear.

"My name is Vas Rokull, The man I intended to kill was  The new emperor of the Ronin, after the war they declined in numbers and remained on a few planets with twelve clans in total. I was a member of the fire clan. I was a Ronin."

"So why were you after them?"

"Before he became emperor there were many disputes between clans and all attempted to take the thrown. Yet during the heated arguments not all clans noticed the disappearance of their neighboring foes. Blinded by the thrown we fought each other with greed and distain. But when the conflict was in its midst the Snake clan assaulted the homes of other clans and killed most of us. Seeking traitors in each side they preserved the clans and silenced the war quickly. I did not wish to kill him, not until I acquired the location of my uncle, the one who betrayed our home and slaughtered the fire clan burning everything within the flames of its blood."

"So all of this was for vengeance?"

"No, its to restore my family's honor, we do not fear death, we welcome its fiery embrace, its treachery that must be punished. He might have taken my voice and killed my brother and family but I shall have his head as proof that my life thus far was not for nothing. I lost everything and if the fire clan dies with me then so be it, but I shall not allow our clan to be reformed by his hand. I shall kill him, and then all those he holds dear, the ones that betrayed us and the ones that are trying to take our place."

"Blinded by vengeance you will never be satisfied, I had learned that myself once, yet I understand how you feel. The Corp had taken my family and friends, and I would slaughter them with joy. But blindly jumping to actions will only harm those near me, as once before. Ash, do you know why continue to fight and why I do not rush to my death?"

"So now you shall lecture me?"

"No, you've been by my side long enough I would trust you with my life but back in the caverns where we entered that Oriken hold, that putrid lab. Fighting along side a Shard was painful for me. Before, when I worked with Rhino there was a third in our team, and she was a shard tenno. As a team we were quit strong, Rhino took charge up front giving us cover while Shard dealt with others from behind. I was always in the middle of the group, I would alternate between the front and back according to situation. We were good friends and I hoped for a better future, but one mission was different. We had to stop a Corp scientist. He was conducting some strange experiments, at the start it was nothing grand some walkers and a few troopers we broke through a jackal prototype to reach the lab. But once inside we saw the experiments, they were horrifying and simply beyond human, it all reminded me of the experiment on my home planet, what happened and what the price was. I got blinded by rage and charged in. Little did I know that there were several Gremar there, they were quick and took me out before I knew it. Those things were later destroyed thanks to a mission from the order, we never have to face them but while I was out Rhino and Shard rushed to my aid, she always had a spear that was her best weapon for close combat. But when I came too Rhino and I were near the gate, he dragged me out while Shard took front line combat. Sometimes I still think they should have left me, back then her spear broke and and she was stabbed by the enemy and her body was thrown away to the pit, but later we broke free and finished the mission. We couldn't recover her body, and had to return to the tower. The council disbanded us and sent Rhino and me to separate teams. Shards spear is the only thing I still have left of her in my room. I keep it as a reminder of what I did, the price I paid for the blind rage."

"Is that supposed to deter me from my vendetta?"

"No, as long as you wont get anyone hurt, I'll help you in any way I can."

Ash paused for a moment before responding.

"Thanks, I didnt even expect..."

"Its ok, now get patched up and we can go finish this little stop before we go find Nataly."

Ash nodded as he continued tinkering on his armor searching for way to give him an advantage in the second round. Volt left the room, and returned to the deck where the pirate was playing around with the ships archives. While Ember plotted the arrival destination for them.

While Ash healed his wounds and repaired the armor the ship blasted through the void entering the twin star system where three planets swung in an irregular orbit around the two dancing stars. The two suns created a strong wind that pushed the vessel back as they began to experience problems approaching the planet where the pirate had his hideout. The three planets were separate spinning around the stars and with the third beyond the two balls of flames in an egg like figure flying around them. The strong winds forced the planets to fly through space with a day cycle of 6 hours and a cosmic rotation of less then 54 days. The planets could have collided long ago if not for the fact that their flight pastern's were inverted from each other view. With both the sun and the planet rising on each horizon. Volt stepped forth to take a closer look at the readings the solar wind was too strong to keep a ship in flight, they had to land on the surface, yet the readings showed that the two small planets had desert habitats with over 400 degrees during the day and -250 in the night. The hull would have been severely damaged by the rapid change in temperature and there were few options left.

"So does this hole of yours have a hanger?"

"Oh, you'd be surprised blue boy, and its not my hole, I'm just borrowing the space."

The pirate placed the gun aside as he began to look through the planets surface till a large cavern was detected in the ridge of the crust, pointing the tennos to the cavern he smiled as he told them to take the ship in there. Ember, puffed as she had little trust in this felon, diving through the clouds to the planets surface, she quickly found hr way to the ridge where she entered the darkness, lighting up the path the flight deck was shocked as there seemed to be a tunnel leading deeper into the planet. Deep within there was a large station where thousands of ships had docked in for the time. As soon as they entered the station there was a squad of ships surrounding them that began to make contact.

"You are entering a restricted area, state your business."

"Shut the crap Masun and find me a place to dock, I have drinks to tend to and those years in prison made me quit parched." The pirate spoke as he disregarded the request from the ships.

"Holly Storm, Vilkus is that you, god damn we thought you were dead, give me a sec I'll clear a pad for you." The voice changed as someone was happy to see the fugitive aboard the tennos ship. "Landing area Z601 You can dock there I'll get the port carrier ready for ya."

The two in the deck along the pirate were shocked to see this welcoming atmosphere. As they were guided to the landing the ship was locked into the ground as the guards returned to their stations with the vessels that guided them.  Upon landing the pirate Vilkus took his gun that he stole and followed the tennos to the door exiting the ship. Upon leaving the small vessel the group found themselves in the station surrounded by several armed men and an officer with a strange scar on the right side of his body that seemed to be cut into his shoulder. The wound looked as though made by a toxin inbuded weapon that the wound had corroded to the bone. The Officer stepped closer to greet Vilkus as he spread his arms.

"Masun you old fart, what the heck happened to you?"

The man hugged Vilkus and stepped back.

"Nothing, this is just from that run in with the infected and the grinners back on Husnar where you left me behind to rot in the enemy hands. Anyway how did you get out of the Grineer maximum security prison, there had never been a break out for the past six hundred years and now here you are, out and free."

"Well about that," Vilkus pulled the blaster up and shot at the soldier behind the man named Masun slightly scraping his hand. "I had a little help, after you sold me out to them when we tried to sell the GrumKar to the Sirians."

"Haha, very funny, but your still outnumbered and if they didn't kill you there, we can finish the job here and now."

"Silence!!!" A voice echoed from the entrance to the city beyond the bridge. There stood an old man with a large bio robotic attachment to his arm, he walked through the dead soldier and stepped in between the two feuding pirates. "Twelve years and you still hold a grudge against each other, this city was founded on men like you, but currently we have bigger issues to attend to and another lords return leads to a greater force supporting us, aside that we need all our lords to fix this."

"But sir, even if Vilkus is a Lord, he's a worthless slacker that will run as soon as the situation befits him, he wont follow orders or aid his allies. We would just be better off without him." Masun explained.

"Hey, tennos I'll give you a planet in the Sirius sector if you kill him." The fugitive laughed as he suggested the trade.

Masun grew red with anger as he screamed.

"I'll give you a solar system if you kill this bastard right now!!!"

Volt turned to his allies and watched as Ash shook his head, while Ember simply replied.

"Well that sounds like a fair trade..."

"Stop it both of you, for a pair of brothers your the most pathetic disgrace this council had ever seen." The old man yelled at the two as he began ridiculing them and mocking the two fools.

"We'll aint that a twist of events," Ember added as she watched.

After several moments of shame for the both of them the group was quickly lead back to the city where they boarded separate ships to avoid further quarrels. The old man boarded the ship along with the tennos and Vilkus as they began to descend into the station.

The pirates locked themselves inside a great hall leaving the tennos outside waiting. There was a great howling pressure over the city upon their friends arrival, the brother reunited and some great matters raised to question. They could only listen in to the conversation within.

"Why the hell are we waiting here for? wasn't he supposed to take us to the black market, Loki will be in blaze if he finds out that we wasted time like this."

"I know, but there's something weird here. The fact that most of the city knew about him as soon as we arrived and that amount of guards willing to kill us to get him. I dont think he's all that he seems, question now is, will he follow his end of the deal. If he doesn't I suppose we wont have a choice but to break out of here kidnapping someone else."

"Dont worry," A voice sounded as their captive stepped from beyond the door. "I'll take you to that rotten trash town, but I need to fix something here."

"So whats all this about?"

"Some will our old man left, stating that his entire fleet will be given to one son, but hell knows what he means, he had dozens illegitimate children around the galaxy, might be anyone of them."

"Sadly not, you always were a tad hardheaded, the will stated that the entire fortune will be given to the strongest one of you two. No bastard children are to be involved. Thats why we detained the will till your return. The entire council was split on the matter, if your brother gets the power of a High lord he will wipe out all the bastards your father left behind, but that would be a fools choice."

"Yeah, cause that treasure he spoke of was real right. Listen, he was a blood thirsty pirate, but even he wouldn't hide that treasure inside someone."

"What treasure?" Volt asked.

"Our old man was a powerful leader, a High Lord amongst pirates, he was well respected for being one of the strongest threats to the empire. Our Uncle was a legitimate heir to a thrown and as he disappeared, our old man was the protector of one of the three grand treasures of the galaxy. You tennos protect the Tree of Knowledge. The empire holds The Fist of Karu, and the last of the three was left to us..."

"The Stone of Shintar!?" The tennos questioned him in unison, breaking his speech.

"Yeah, the great all mighty stone of limitless energy. While I was captured they questioned me about that almost every day, but as far as any of us know it doesn't exist. Our old man died fighting and never bothered telling where the stone was. The last words he had were, The greatest treasure lies in the blood. We have no clue what he had in mind, so we simply wrote it off as a fairy tale for stupid kids."  Vilkus continued to yap uncaring of the old mans glare.

"Your father was the greatest leader our council ever had, you should not disgrace his words with such ignorance, he bestowed upon both of you a chance to prove fitting to rule the pirates, the will shall be settled tomorrow whether you like it or not." The old man spoke as he returned to the council where an argument raged concerning the tennos and the revealed location of their home star.

Following Vilkus back to the city they arrived at a large house, with some classical Gothic metal work around the walls. Across the street was a small house with two floors, Vilkus lead them to the small house around back, there was a hidden panel opening a doorway to an apartment. Inside was a manor like home, filled with all sorts of exotic plants and treasures, sculptures from all over the galaxy.

"This is my place, doesnt look like much from the outside, but as long as no one can find you."

"No one can kill you." Volt spoke as he turned to look at him.

"Pretty much and besides, nothing is as it seems here. Its been a long ride so I'm gonna take a break now, getting back here is just too big of a hassle, I need to rest, I suggest you take a break as well. Tomorrow we're leaving, I also have business in that shat hole of a market." Vilkus waved as he walked off into a small room. The tennos were left alone in the treasure room.

After several hours as the others were resting Volt awoke to the sound of the sliding doors as he heard someone leaving. escaping the manor through the ceiling and walking past the abandoned streets he followed the figure that turned out to be Vilkus, he was on his way, sneaking around the streets, as he dove into the pipe lines beneath, in this city, it was clear one could reach any home through any path one wished. After several streets were brushed with the colors of blue as the tenno followed the pirate he had saved from prison. The man known as Vilkus entered a shady run down bar at the other end of town. Sneaking past the door and hiding in the shadows, the tenno could hear them talking.

"Is the warehouse still intact?"

"Just the way you left it boss, nothing was moved."

"Perfect, that will save me some time, now then keep an eye on the door I'll be out in a few minuets."

The pirate left the bartender as he was and walked into the back. Volt was forced to sneak through the bar avoiding the mans gaze without losing Vilkus's track. As he stepped forth sneaking along the floor, Volt accidentally hit a chair with hi knee pressing himself to the floor he leaned to the wall hopping to avoid capture.

"Uh?" The man gazed over the counter looking for the cause of the noise, a small rodent jumped out from the floor and ran down the room. "This dam place is a health hazard, why did I end up in this place to begin with?" Volt used the chance to wrap around the corner and sneak into the back. Once there he found a long stair case leading down, There was a light coming from bellow. As he carefully sneaked to the bottom stairs, he looked into the room, to find a large space filled with cargo marked from many different factions, even a few tenno crates, but Vilkus was nowhere in sight. Suddenly a gun pressed against his helm.

"You took your sweet time. I thought you were supposed to be silent and deadly as the night, but it seems your not all you seem to be ether. I could see you following me from the manor. You dont get big here without noticing some stalkers in the streets, I also wished to speak with you, since I still don't know who told you to break me out. The only ones that new I was in there were a few members of the council and my brother has a few of them on the pay roll, so tell me straight who are you working for?"

"We dont work for anyone, we're not even affiliated with the order at the moment. Our handler betrayed us and we were on our way to the tower till one of our friends was kidnapped and sold on the black market, we need you to get her back."

"And who would this friend be that you would risk your lives breaking into a prison such as that to get me?"

"Nataly, a girl carrying the infection, if she were killed in the market or any large world it could start a large war as the infection would spread through the planet devouring everything."

"Well now, that sounds like a nifty weapon."

"Shes our friend, and the only survivor of Colony Siultas Ray."

"Siultas? I see, so who sent you to help me. The only people benefiting from this are my brother and the council, who would tell you my location."

"A man by the name of Bricks."

Vilkus lowered his gun and laughed.

"Bricks? that idiot broke me out of jail? Thats just pathetic, does he think he'll pay his debt off like this or something?"

"What do you mean?"

"A few years back Bricks and I got drink on a planet and decided to gamble like hell, we bet almost all we had, our weapons our cloths even his ship, and then we made one last bet, the loser would stay on that planet for the rest of his life and then he lost, I sent some men to make sure he stays there, but I guess he's sick of that place by now. But then again, if I'm here he could have sold us out and my brother knows of the manor by now."

Through the shadowed streets, the darkness hushed as figures began to gather near the small collapsing building. Ash and Ember slumbered as the detonation began, breaking the wall and awakening the two. Ash sprung from the beam he lied on grabbing his blade and disappearing in the smoke of the collapsing wreckage. Ember gripped her weapons and hid behind a wall waiting for the enemy to show itself. Through the dust clouds a large man stepped forth, It was Vilkus's brother, at his side there were several soldiers armed with shotguns and blasters.

"Take everything, and find my worthless brother. No one has to know we were here."

He spoke before leaving the room, the soldiers scattered around breaking anything they could to make it seem as though all was destroyed by accident, Some of the trophy's and treasures were taken away to the warehouse. As they scouted the rooms Ash took his chances to assassinate as many as he could reach. Using the broken wires above, he sled down stabbing them in the neck and dragging them up. After a few disappearances the mercenaries became alert of their decreasing numbers. As One entered the room where ember hid, she pulled him aside and muffled his mouth breathing scolding steam down his thought. The soldier burnt from within as he crumbled to the ground, Ember took this chance to hide him in a giant pot before continuing to the next room where a mercenary was looking through a gold encrusted box, inside were several gems and bars of rare metals. Gripping his jaw she burnt the face before the man could breath a word. Ash hid in the shadows above as one of the cut thoughts stepped beyond a large statue, using his smoke he quickly jumped down slicing through the mans chest and severing the heart. In the shadow of the sculpture he threw one of his blades at the doorway where a mercenary walked past the door. It sunk into him slicing the vocal cords, the man crumbled to the ground gripping his neck. Ash looked around the corner to see the rest of the room, there were only three men left in sight. Teleporting behind each of them he quickly sliced through their spines and spun around slicing their hands off. Ember quickly dealt with the remaining guards searching through the rooms by burning their lungs with a super heated air blast to their faces, none of them could hold out longer then a second as their lungs exploded from the heat.

"Well, this is a surprise. I suppose the will will be read earlier then expected." Ember sighed as she dragged a burnt melted corpse from the room.

______________

After Volt and Vilkus returned the group was quickly contacted by the council, the will was to be finished this night, instead of waiting till morning.

"Doesn't seem so bad to be honest, I'll call my men to clear out this place and move everything to the next hideout. About my brother on the other hand, I guess we should finish this now before more people die. Losing soldiers isn't profitable for us here." Vilkus spoke as he pulled out a gun from his chest. The weapon was old, it was clearly well used and damaged, it would be a wonder if would still work if not explode in ones hands.

The group used the transport ships to make their way to the council where they were quickly accepted to the hall with gun fire from bellow. Masun must have placed his guards around the council to ensure his succession would be guaranteed. The men used phaeton canons to shoot them from the sky, this forced the group to make an emergency landing.

"Looks like we're going on foot from here on out." Volt said as he reloaded his gun preparing to head on with the other two tennos.

"This brings back memories, reminds me of my last trip to Serius Grim." Vilkus sarcastically answered as he stepped out of the broken transporter wearing a long red coat, he had a plasma blade at his him and a pair of photon blasters at his side, a leather strap holding a few knifes was wrapped around his chest. "Well then, if we're doing this here, might as well call in a few favors." Unsheathing the blade he raised it over his head before slicing it down in the direction of the council hall. As the blade pointed the path, gunfire was blasted from the city behind them raining down on the guards blockade. Several squads of men attacked flanking the guards. " Lets go pay my brother a visit, I have to thank him for trashing my new place." The tennos charged forth at the broken enemy lines as the pirate lord Vilkus was followed by several soldiers at his side.

Very well done. Just by reading through the first few comments i just wanted to say, just because people aren't commenting, doesn't mean people aren't listening. I just keep adding to my story and comment when a new piece is added, since I just edit the original text. Good way to keep the story bumped up to the top by commenting each additional part. Good job.

Racing through the bridge the two forces clashed while the tennos sliced the path clear to the council. Ash used his small blades to take out the men arming the turets while Ember used her powers to blast away the enemy from the bridge clearing a path, Volt used this clearing to blaze through in a streak of light, The other end of the bridge was sealed off by soldiers blocking the path with a few tanks, The fire began raining down on him as he swang from side to side sliding along the  rims of the long path. On the center  of the path a group of men in body armor set forth with heavy guns, blasting at the blue shocker. Volt sled along the ground as he opened fire upon the men, distracting them and forcing the heavy armored troops to turn around. As he jumped back to his feet he rushed forth for the barricade on the other side, forcing the armored men to shoot on their own allies. Avoiding the fire he leaped along the side of the cars to the air above the tanks barricading the path. With a glance he watched as his fellow tennos sliced the armored soldiers in half silencing the fire from behind. Stretching out his arms he released a pulse of electricity burning the tanks controls together with the weapons and soldiers from within.

After a few moments he landed on the ground and could only see the burning smouldering remains of the soldiers around him. As he watched the sound of a hovercraft rose from beneath the bridge, armed with a pulse cannon it blasted the tanks off the bridge and opened the path for the other two tennos as well as Vilkus and his soldiers charging in to the council.

"Ash take the towers, Ember clear out the remaining forces on the outside. Vilkus, lets go meet your brother." Volt spoke as he pulled out his sword.

With a puff of smoke the brown tenno disappeared from the bridge, Ember took the machine guns from the  guards following Vilkus and walked off to the side walls of the council. The city was light with the red flames coming from the council.  Vilkus was led to the council by two guards and Volt breaking through the door and entering the hall. A few soldiers attacked from the shadows within the hall, Volt knocked one with his shoulder and sliced him along the chest and swung to the other slicing along his back leaving them to crumble to the ground as they;re blood spilled along the floor.

Ash appeared on the roof soon and began running along the wall, as he sled kicking one of the shooting turrets he threw the blades at the few soldiers protecting the roof entrance. The turret fire minced the other turrets while Ash quickly dealt with the soldiers cutting them to bits. Soon fire began to rain down on him from above. The second tower had noticed his presence. With a kick at the already damaged turret he directed it to the tower where the remaining men were. While they were suppressed Ash jumped down to the ridge of the roof, running up he quickly sliced the barrel of the turret nearest to him and began raining down knifes at the soldiers ducking behind the wall. With all of them pierced to bits, Ash tossed a blade at the remaining turret that he left intact bellow. Within a few more seconds he quickly left no turret intact.

Bellow Ember was raining down fire on the soldiers as they were crossed within fires from both sides. Soon after the guns were empty she took charge burning the grates bellow the enemy walls. Escaping the scolding metal they jumped out of their barricades and were soon shot down by Vilkus's men. Ember soon was shocked to find several new tanks charging through the bridge they had taken to the council hall. Forced back to take cover she soon found a plan to stop the enemy advance. While the soldiers following their friends orders were taking their attention. She rushed to the side along the ridge of the platform to the council hall she quickly set herself ablaze and drew the blade slicing the beams holding up the bridge, as it was losing support, Ember slammed her hands on the ground setting the floor ablaze and melting the metal holding up the pathway upon witch the tanks stood. Soon the weight of the tanks were  forcing the bridge to crumble away as the construct crumbled and the tanks tumbled down to the ground bellow causing an explosion. With the gun turrets demolished by Ash and the ground forces destroyed by Ember, Vilkus's men could easily move in to the platform where they could quickly annihilate Masuns forces.

I know that there are grammer errors in the whole story, I'd love to fix it but I simply dont have the time, I'm pressed for it as it is and I'm trying to finish this and get it over with as quickly as possible... I was able to work on it more when I didn't have a job and had too much free time, but now while I'm working I can't afford to spend too much time on this, with my studies and everything and the final paper that I have to do I'm kinda tied up as of now, if possible I'd love to get a job just doing this, but currently thats impossible... and most errors probably happen do to transfer between Word and the forum system, for some reason it auto corrects itself sometimes and just screws with everything ...

Breaking through the entrance of the council chambers, Volt and Vilkus arrived in the meeting room where they found Masuns men taking half the council hostage at gun point. Masun himself was making a speech before them unaware of his brothers arrival.

"With my brothers death I shall prove to you once and for all, that I am the true successor to our fathers thrown. Whether you approve or not, tonight you shall all accept the wills decision to hand it all over to me. Those who disagree will meet a quick end at void of space."

"Quit rash of you to make such decisions Masun, while your brother still stands." The old man that had been watching over them, spoke with several guards aiming for his head.

"Matters not, whether he breaths or stands, tonight I shall be rid of him and the accursed tennos, our home shall not be exposed and there will be nothing holding us back anymore, you old fools had ruled our planet for far too long, as soon as this night is over, those who join me shall be well rewarded in our new world order. We shall rule the galaxies reaping each ship in our path."

"Well, aren't you all high and mighty all of a sudden bro?" Vilkus asked as he stepped forth into the chamber.

The guards quickly aimed at the door where the tenno and the pirate lord with his two men were. Taking this chance the old man surrounded by a group of guards through half of them from the balcony before revealing his mechanical monstrosity of an arm and bashing the remaining guards almost ripping right through them. A gunner from the balcony before him shot at the man piercing his shoulder as he crumbled back into his chair.

"Still feisty in your old age, huh Gregor?" Vilkus asked as he giggled.

"Shut up, you worthless rat."

Vilkus stepped forth into the center of the hall before his brother where he was quickly marked by several snipers from above.

"So, you send your men to ravish my little hole, you take the council hostage against their will and you can't even kill me like a real man? What would father say about you now?"

"I do believe he'd be proud of me taking action and not simply surrendering to circumstances. At least I'm not a coward, at least I didn't run away from a fight, at the very least I didn't betray our family!" Masun screamed at his brother.

"Hey, what can I say. We are pirates after all, if we can't win, we run. If we can't win, we do everything to survive. So I'm here now, what do you say, are you too coward of dealing with me yourself?" Vilkus taunted his brother.

Masun grinned his teeth as he screamed drawing his blade and charging his lazy brother. reaching into his coat, Vilkus turned to the side knocking the sword away with his elbow and slipping his foot beneath his brothers legs. Tripping Masun over and down to his knees, Vilkus drew out of his coat the old blaster he had taken from the chest at home. Pressing the barrel against his brothers head he dint hesitate as a blast echoed and the head was blown off. The entire council was shocked while Volt took the time to deal with the snipers and guards in the hall. He silently removed them without notice.

"Vilkus! How could you!?"

"Calm down you old fart, Masun was never one for speech's, hes probably already on his way out of this building."

----------------------

Vilkus was correct as a gunship arrived over head of the towers where Ash was, it forced him to take cover behind the wall as fire rained down upon him. The ship lowered itself to the tower where a figure in a blue coat stood, it was Masun awaiting his extraction ship. After climbing aboard he quickly departed from the city leaving the planet and boarding one of his flagships.

------------------------

"Yet still, I'm amazed you still hold on to that gun." Gregor said as he held onto his shoulder where the shot had hit him.

"Yeah, well it was a gift, and a matching set at that." Vilkus said as he looked at the handle of the gun where an inscription remained.

As dawn rose to the planet shinning past the large sphere surrounding the city beneath the surface. The war was over, Masuns escaped was successful, though at the loss of his men and councils support. The council members that supported him were branded as traitors and locked up along the soldiers. The remaining leaders seemed like the skeleton of the entire pirate order. With the attack and Masuns main goals unveiled the remaining council agreed to hand over the High Lord position to Vilkus along with the will of his father. The elders had a conversation with him behind closed doors amongst the small remains of the counselors.

Within a few hours the tennos were met by Vilkus and his men by the landing pad where their ship was. The tennos were waiting for their chance to leave as Vilkus brought a few men along side with him.

"I'm sorry for the hold up, but apparently there are some large details to take care of here."

"Wait a minuet you filthy ..." Ember began to yell at him as she was quickly silenced by Ash.

"What about the deal?" Volt questioned him.

"I've called a few favors and my man Gondr will show the path to the dark market for ya, He'll meet you on Usara, that's the nearest and largest under market in this galaxy. His men will fin you."

"Will you be ok here?"

"Yeah, apparently the old man left some big trash unsorted before his last breath, but I'll make sure to pay back the debt in time."

"Well then, make sure you do." Volt accepted the proposal as he boarded the ship.

Leaving the planet the tennos flew away to the outer rim of the solar system, the solar winds were blasting forth a large cloud of gas in their direction. With a flash they left the space quadrant.

Vilkus turned to leave the space port as the old Gregor stood by the gate to the city.

"You could have left with them, to be honest. We survived without you thus far, a few more years wouldn't kill us."

"Yeah, but I think I know a better way to pay back the empire and pay my debt at the same time. Theres a lot you learn in prisons, a lot of people you meet." Vilkus answered with a sinister grin in his jaws.

_______________________

Back at the moon prison, there was a large force of soldiers arriving to deal with the break out, the soldiers were reporting breaches in all cells, the slums were broken in and all turrets destroyed, the soldiers down bellow were killed in the assault.

"All gunners, to the bridge's open fire upon the slums. Demolition squads, destroy those elevators. Not a single life form must leave the prison."

"Captain, reports states that Nar had been sighted entering the slums."

"Accursed clone, contact the main fleet, we need all the forces in this sector to aid this facility. Prepare the ships, we'll blow this entire moon to bits if we must."

As the guards entered the bridge above the slums, where the tennos broke through, they found themselves under fire from bellow, the engineers in the slums rebuilt the turrets and broken rollers. The guns from the guards were taken and used as weapons against the guards themselves. As the soldiers were shot down, there was a deep laughter from behind the gunners bellow.

"Its been a long time since I had some space to stretch, I'll pay you all back for all those years."

There stood a thin tall figure with a strange fluid dripping from its jaws. It was commanding the gunners. Next to it was a tall hard skinned monstrosity, one of the beasts that rampaged in the lower levels of the prison, it was the captain of the creatures. It held a large axe and sat waiting for something. On the roof of a nearby building stood two female figures, they were all covered in some rough silicon substance, the wiring underneath was visible as it sparked. They both laughed as they watched the soldiers fall from above, pressing closer to each other.

"Captain, the prisoners have acquired weaponry, we are in the open here, we need to pull back." One of the soldiers radioed in as he watched the slums.

"You wont be pulling back anywhere, meat." A voice slithered from above, as they gazed up on the wall above them was a large snake like beast with a long neck, grasping the wall with four insect like legs it clang to the wall above them. The pounced upon the soldiers quickly ripping them limb from limb.

At the elevator the prisoners were working to quickly rewire it to work, so they could take a ride up to freedom. But as they were fooling around with the wires a snake like grip crushed their necks from behind as a robotic arm threw them aside, like a tentacle it wrapped back around its master, a man hooded and clothed he reached for the machinery and wires extended from his body reworking the elevator. Turning back behind it stood a large man with the shattered legs of the arachnids that were crashed beneath the prison, strapped to his side like blades.

"It is done, shall we be leaving master Nar?"

"I'll go pay a visit to the warden, you go get the others, Zim is probably above already so don't bother with that sadist."

"Understood master."

The one called Nar stepped into the elevator and pressed for the floor above, as the room rose, the city was ravaged and most of the simple prisoners killed while those who followed Lord Nar and his men were sworn to servitude. The room was half way to the top when a massive tremor shook the building. The elevator began to descend, but with a grin the monster within the elevator broke through the roof and climbed his way to the top with his bare hands.

The grineers began to open fire upon him but soon that proved without a doubt useless as they were soon all skewered by the shards from the robot arachnids at his side. Few soldiers remained that day to witness the horror of Lord Nars rise from the shadows of the prison planet. With the elevator gone the prisoners broke the bridge and walls to make their way up to the surface. Once free they began their journey to take the large flagship in space above the prison.

  • 1 month later...

Breaking through the dark void of space, the ship with the three tennos arrived in the star system that was agreed for the teams reunion with the flagship. The star system was consistent of four planets a frozen ball of nitrogen gas floating around the star near the rim of the outer asteroid belt. The second planet was a gas giant surrounded by a belt of asteroids that were the size of a small moon, and with the lack of other planetary bodies surrounding it, it appeared that the ring around it was an endless moon. The next planet was a habitable flush green planet half the size of earth in the Sol system, its two moons rotated in different direction like an atom surrounded by electrons they created a strange surface that seemed to have the sea displaced into swamps and rivers like veins on the planets surface. The last was a shining jewel, a whole planet of crystallized Carbone, a planet completely made of crystal. Dried and eaten away by the suns heat it was in constant motion so that the planets winds would protect the crystalline surface from the shattering heat.

The system was devoid of any outsider interference, the flagship was out of sight and the rest of their group was missing. There was only a message transmitted from the jungle planet. The message stated that the ground team was awaiting them. The ground team was consistent of Vauban and Rhino. The three tennos consciously approached the planets surface avoiding the space debris. There were no signs of any other vessels in the star system. Once they reached the planets surface the group became aware of the strange structures farther in the jungle. Landing the ship in the clearing the group walked away concealing it with the growth. Deep in the jungle the three tennos began to track the signal coming from the ground troops that were awaiting them.

Carving through the jungle the signal grew stronger as they approached the facility. Near the rim of a canyon they found the source to be emanating from a drop pod that held the insignia of the grineer empire.

"What the hecks going on here?" Ember questioned as she searched inside the small space inside it was empty and held several wires torn from the control panel.

"I don’t know but if their on the planet they would be using some encoded frequency." Volt said as he searched through the radio waves for any sign of the two tennos.

The search only took a few moments, yet yielded no results. There was no communication coming from the planet. With no leads left the group decided to descend into the canyon in search of the origin of the signals creation. The only visible entrance to the compound was from the other side of the canyon, being stuck there the group decided to descend along the wall of the large slit in the planets surface, Jamming their blades into the wall they slowly glided along the rim rushing to the side before making a 180 degree turn to ensure not to run off course.

After landing in the shadows of the canyon the group ventured forth closer to the large facility. It was overgrown, seemed abandoned and unused. Nearing the construct the team noticed some strange signals coming through a low frequents on the radio. It sounded like some raspy rustling of the grass. As they caught on to the frequency and tried to establish contact the signal they received back was unnerving, The screeching scream echoed through the canyon. It arrived from the other end. Caught in the open the group had only one choice, to enter the facility and avoid contact until further information was found. The origin of the signal seemed to be hostal and hastily approaching.

The three tennos quickly rushed along the wall boosting their jumps with the blades they would stab the walls. Until an outer rim of the structure was reached once on it they found it to be a balcony. The view spanned the canyon and was wide even showed the top of the cliffs. There was a broken door to the inside of the facility and seemed to be destroyed not from outside but from within. Upon entering the group was quickly met with the edge of an axe nearing their neck's. The one who entered the facility first was Volt and avoiding it he jumped to the front pulling his guns out and pointing them at the attacker, as he aimed he saw the assult came from an axe that was stuck in the vines. After the shock they inspected the tool it was the same axe used by Rhino. It was caught in the wines but the wielder was missing.

"At least we know their here." Volt spoke.

"Yeah, but where are there, and what was that thing?" Ember questioned as she took a look at the broken door. "This was broken recently, was it Rhino?"

Upon entering the compound the group discovered Rhinos Axe trapped in some vines on the wall. It was stuck in the crevice from a stricken in the wall. The door shattered from within, they soon deduced that he had broken it open, yet why were they escaping the facility. Searching the wall, Ash found some acidic marks on the rim of the doorway. It was as though a boiling acid eroded it. Upon touching it he soon found it still fresh enough to damage his armors fingertips. The group was puzzled as to what he could have fought here. What ever it was it seemed to be of a moderate build, small and thin compared to Rhinos broad build. Since the slam managed to break part of the balconies rim as they found it damaged and corroded.

Taking the Axe with them, Volt strapped it to his back and they continued inside, with the howling whales outside the compound. The structure was overgrown within, it seemed as though the facility was abandoned for ages. Yet as they entered a lab Ember recognized some equipment. They were new and up to date, the lab was damaged beyond repair. Carrying on they left the room and searched for the remaining party. As the others walked on, Ash paused for a moment falling behind, as he heard something strange, like sandpaper rubbing on freshly carved wood. It was faint but the sound came from the walls. There seemed to be something moving. He quickly pulled his blade slashing the wall to bits. As it fell apart, Ash was confound to find nothing within, whatever it was the origin of the noise was gone. He found himself lost without any clear vocation of where his team was. The ninja continued on his own search for the answers as the noise began to stalk him within the walls.

The remaining team of Volt and Ember were traversing the next floor of the building as they soon found a corpse of a grineer soldier in the hall. As they kicked him over to his back to get a better look, they found his face completely covered in a strange growth, that seemed to be pulsating, the bloodstreams on his neck were dark and visible through the pale skin. The body was missing an arm, as it seemed to be ripped off. The tennos soon found a small path of blood leading to the room nearby. Ember followed the trail while Volt continued to examine the body. He found a few strange wounds that didn't seem to be left by any animal known to the order. As his helm scanned the wounds it could not find any records upon it. He then scanned a number on the grineers remaining arm. He was born from a test tube in the 3rd planet of clone project. The planets name was lost in the database, but the records showed that they were the toughest soldiers in the army, the cloning project was plotted to ensure clean perfect soldiers. No fear, no pain, they would be considered a threat to the tennos. Till the planet was targeted by a purge, the order destroyed all the facilities to ensure their dominance in the struggle for power. Even if the facility was destroyed most of the clones would rise in ranks to the higher chains of command. Few were ever seen to show self preservation in abandoning the empire. Amongst them was one named Nar. A powerful high-ranking soldier that disagreed with the empire itself, upon abandoning it, he formed a new order amongst the pirates and soon grew to great power, threatening not only the order, but also the empire. Nar was noted for commanding Corps facilities through the galaxy.

Volt Stood up with shock as he heard Embers voice calling him. As he walked into the room where she was, the tenno was greeted by a grizzly sight. There were seven other soldiers strapped through the room. One was strapped by vines to the ceiling while his body was sliced apart. The remaining ones were surrounded by vines trapped in the falls and a large hall in the ground.

"What happened here?" He asked as he pulled out the arm of the soldier finding the same markings.

"Someone went a tad overboard, but most of this wasn't done by any tenno."

"I don’t think there’s a suit that can do this kind of stuff..."

The two soon found themselves back in the halls searching for the tennos. The sight was horrid, it looked like the men inside were devoured and spat back out. Aside all those wounds the freshest ones were all done by a knife. Slicing them apart. Volt remembered seeing a stab wound on the soldier in the hall. Searching through the facility. Ember soon found a room with a working control pad. Upon opening it they stepped into an undamaged lab where they used a computer to find some answers about the facility. Lucky for them the computer inside was used by some researcher for daily recordings of their progress. The first record was from a few months ago.

"The facility is finally ready to begin our study upon this new biological life form named Venorus Gentra. Some have high hopes for the results, the next shipment will be coming tomorrow, so we'll spend the next few night prepping and observing this entity."

The next recording was made a week later.

"The life form seems to hold some kind of consciousness, we found it quit highly adaptive and there was a large situation in a lab on the upper floor where we had to quarantine the room. Protocol states that we must not speak of it in detail. But the rapid growth it exhibited was astonishing."

Two weeks later.

"The team have been feeling a bit exhausted around the specimen, we believe it to be a self defense mechanism, perhaps we should encourage them to use gas masks when handling it."

Week later.

"The progress has halted as three of our scientists were rushed off world to a treatment facility, we believe the entity has begun to adapt to something in this facility but what could it be and how. It wasn't exposed to anything, why is it reacting this way. We must quickly find out what is causing this and get rid of it. I'd ask Dr. Shoo' Klan for help in this matter but he is deep in his study of the infections mutagenic quality's it is partially plantlike after all."

One week before the tennos arrived.

"The entity has begun to show signs of mutation, I think its attributes are similar to the parasitic infection of the Hive that Dr. Shoo is researching, but when I suggested it he claimed it to be impossible. I know our labs are separate and there are several floors dividing us, but aside me no more researchers remain observing the subject. I fear for the worst, if it spread outside the facility, the planet itself could become a specimen. The subject holds a hive like mentality, we tested it by separating a small bit of it from the rest and burning it. The rest of the subject showed high responses of agitation and anger. We don’t know what will happen next."

The last record was damaged and the only line of it that was recovered read.

"Its too late, I told him but he didn't listen, the subject is loss and contaminating the entire facility. We need to inform the empire that it's ..." The rest was damaged code. There were many recordings missing, erased from the system along with it.

"What the hell happened here?" Ember said as she looked back at Volt. "And where’s Ash?"

"Crap, if that thing was that dangerous we can't afford to be separate. We must back track and find him immediately."
