http://www.gamespot.com/articles/youtube-to-introduce-ads-free-subscription-service/1100-6426503/ So google is planning to launch a subscription service on youtube and google play, however, the former only seems to apply to music videos. Using the subscription service will allow you to watch these videos AD FREEEEEEE. But y'know, you could just use Adblock.

This is actually a bad thing for content creators when you look at things such as game developer video policies, which in general state you cannot put content behind a paywall. Here youtube is going to force all creators into the paywall/subscription service or they will not be able to post videos anymore. I'll continue using adblock and save my money for spending on Warframe. As for AdBlock if this is implemented the time will come where they block you from being able to access youtube if you are using AdBlock much like a number of other websites/companies are doing now. Currently it's just for music videos (so guys like VEVO apply).
